Duran’s the man

The print is there, Rios is clueless against the hit and not be hit artists. He is lucky to have uncle Bob’s support unlike say… Abril.

I really wish Broner was a little heavier and give Rios the spanking he deserves.

Looks like a terrific card. Donaire might be an all-time great, and all of these fighters are first rate. Nishioka is the underdog, but he is a very live underdog. Rios and Alvarado are evenly matched.

I ll prefer donaire vs rigo,, Alvarado vs Rios..nishioka was good but he s old now.. He got Koed for Rico Ramos a guy who dont even try to hit rigo… Rigo raped him..and nishi just struggle with an old Rafael Marques..fight Rigo!!!

This is Epic. Great card. Potentially a night of upsets. Can’t wait.

The Mad Scientist

Rios vs Alvarado will be a barn burner but Im going with Bam to stop mile high in the late rounds on cuts..Mike is a better boxer I suppose but Brandon is a better inside fighter and that’s where most of the fight will be taking place..

Of course he’s fighting the Nishioka. Phony doesn’t want any of Rigo suave.

Rios @ 140 against a brawler is just the ticket to get back in the W column (yes, he lost his last fight).

Sweet card, for once Top Rank deliver.

Work it out, ESB. The comments make no sense, can’t tell where to start reading.

Alvarado/Ríos is going to be bombs away! These are two animals who have both shown some vulnability lately but have both managed to win. Ríos seems to have a little bit of an edge on Alvarado, but neither is going to have any trouble finding the other.
This could be the beginning of a crazy trilogy, and I get the feeling one of this guys is not going to be the same afterwards.

Come on bro Donaire wasn’t going to fight Rigo now. He wasn’t even going to fight Nishioka now. So now at least we get Nishioka. Hopefully he doesn’t duck Rigo before he moves up in weight. And why would you want to see Rios-Broner when you have Rios-Alvarado which is a 100 times better and possible fight of the year?

Pretty good card here…looking forward to it. Go Donaire!!!

I’m very glad Donaire decided to fight Nishioka like he originally planned. I did not like the idea of him fighting Acre. Everyone was losing respect for him, so this was a good decision for him to fight Nishioka. Then hopefully he can fight Rigo. I think Donaire is going to handle Nishioka and give him a solid loss. My main interest in this card though is Rios-Alvarado. That fight might even have more at stake than Donaire-Nishioka. It’s also one of the most brutal and violent fights I have ever heard of in a while. Unless there’s something of an early knockout, it’s very possible that one or both fighters will never be the same after this fight. Having excellent cut men is crucial in this fight. It seems that most boxing analysts are picking Alvarado to win, but I give the edge to Rios. This is actually Rios’ game. Rios fights excellently on the inside if punches are being exchanged heavily. Abril’s inside game was a completely different story because he was rolling his shoulders and being defensive. Alvarado is going to fight Rios. I honestly think Rios has more heart when it comes to violent fighting. It’s funny because he doesn’t look like it when you see him. I think the difference in heart will be what matters in this fight. Both fighters are very heavy handed. Alvarado is slightly better at boxing, but this fight will end up being a barnburner. I would actually pay just to see this fight alone.

The Donaire vs NIshioka fight should be awesome!!! Too bad Nishioka has been inactive since Oct 2011, but if he manages to fight to his potential, he will beat Donaire.

Big Jim

Good fight for Rios

Rios-Broner would no longer make sense. Rios will be fighting at 140 here… Broner is just moving up to 135.
I really dislike Top Rank, but this is actually a pretty good card. So long as Donaire takes on Mares or Rigo next, I’m happy.

This is a very good card. Alvarado can take Rios. He is a better boxer and can brawl when he needs to as well. 303!!!

Please bring in the Cuban, just like we can have Rios vs Broner. 2 fights don’t mind paying for. Not this Top Skank rubbish
