I believe at the moment Cunningham is 2 and 2 as a heavyweight and many felt he was robbed in his second fight with Adamek. I know after the Fury fight a lot of people were suggesting that Steve would be better off moving back down to cruiserweight. If the Mansour fight doesn’t go well for him he might have to consider that or risk becoming a journeymen at heavyweight.

Mansour has very good power and will probably be thinking KO right from the opening bell. I agree with Cunningham’s trainer Nazim Richardson in that Steve has to fight a very intelligent fight to prevail. In other words he’ll probably pull it off if he can keep it more of a boxing match and less of a brawl. If he gets into a situation where he starts trading with Mansour then he’s going to have problems. One plus for Steve though is that unlike Tyson Fury, Mansour is not a Giant.

But regardless of the outcome of this fight I do wish Steve Cunningham the best in regards to his personal life. It must be really horrible for parents to have a seriously ill young child.

Good luck Steve… You’re fighting a powerful man. One who will probably knock your lights out.

Be careful, and box, box, box box, and box… Throw a zillion punches and keep moving, OK? The only way you win is if you bust your behind through the final bell.

Swedish Boxing Fan

Steve “USS” Cunningham (26-6-0, 12 KOs) is sadly going down in his career. he is not winning his fights and misses the title oppertunities. Sad but I wish him the best. He is a good boxer but mabey should look at a lower level of opponents.

This is going to be a great fight. Of couse, that’s what I thought before the Wilder-Scott fight. Anyway, Cunningham is a class act and I hope he wins this and makes some money. Clearly, he is not big enough to compete with the very top men, but he is willing to fight anyone, and gives a good effort every time. I hope he makes a fortune.

I met Cunningham and his wife at the Glazkov/Adamek fight and must say they are two really nice people. Who knows what will happen but I wish Steve luck in the fight against Mansour. I think as long as he fights intelligently he has a shot. If he decides to slug it out then he’s probably going to have problems.

I like Cunningham. philly used to be a fight town, now it is a silly fruity obamatown

Knowing his situation it’s kind of hard to root against Cunningham. I believe his daughter is in need of a heart transplant. I will admit that I’m not too familiar with Mansour but from reading his record it sounds like Cunningham has fought better opposition. If USS gets by Mansour perhaps a third fight with Adamek might not be a bad option assuming Tomasz doesn’t stay retired. Adamek was hinting at retirement right after the Glazkov fight but he could change his mind.

Very tricky fight but I like Hardcore in this fight. Hardcore by UD or late stoppage.

This should be another good test for Monsur. Not sure whether or not he will pass the test.

First off……weak legged, weak chinned Kelvim Price proved that Monsours power is vastly overrated.

Not saying he’s featherfisted, but come on….he belted Price a dozen times, and IMO, while Monsour was clearly going to win, the stoppage was premature.

Second….USS has taken bombs from punchers like Hernandez and Adamek and Fury…..not saying Monsour aint stronger than they are, but I guarantee that both Adamek and Hernandez are better at landing their shots.

USS will absolutely expose Monsour. He’s old as f, and he’s shown that he limited when he’s being hit back. USS may not have cannons on board, but he has more than enough power of his own to hurt and stop Monsour.

Sorry Monsour fans, but this is a 12-0 shutout or a TKO6-8 for USS.

And if USS is looking to get paid, he should rematch Adamek or maybe look for a fight with Potvetkin or Haye should he return.

Idk man Cunningham has been disappointing me every time he steps in the ring against good opposition..but we’ll just have to see. Amir Mansour is no joke
