like leonard getting then LT HVY Champion Donny La Londe to fight at 165…..but the LT HVY Belt was on the line anyway….c’mon ….smells like four day old fish

Think Ward wins and wins comfortably to be honest. Dont rate Dawson, he struggled with Hopkins and was beaten by an average Pascal. He’s also fighting in Wards back yard and coming down a weight. Nothing stacked in his favour at all and Wards beat Kessler, Froch and Abraham more than impressivelly. Ward by points.

…..”only 10 pounds from making weight for Super Middleweight Fight”….no problem…which leg or arm does he want to cut off ??? Ten pounds is a lot to carve off a Lt Hvy , who is in shape. Dawson may not be able to carve that much off….and stay effective

Ward will win!!!

will one

I love Andre but he takes wayyy too many punches. Andre hit HARD with combinations. Chad will control the fight using his stick. Andre will leave himself open for counters. Dawson will box, Andre will brawl leaving himself open. Dawsom will faint and pick his shots. Dawson by unananimous decision.

I agree with you in that I will also be rooting for Dawson because of Ward’s refusal to be anything but the ‘home’ fighter, but I disagree with your comments about his competition and the super middleweight division. The super middles are a strong division, and those european fighters you mention that will ‘never be anything’ are already super stars that sell out soccer stadiums. Kessler and Froch as bigger stars than Ward or Dawson, and they will fight on the road. Until Ward fights on the road, he will always have that question mark.

Ray Ray

I’m going with Dawson. Better boxing skills. Bigger. Been I’n with better competition. He has some obsticles though. Weight and Wards backyard

Andre Ward is one of the most protected overrated fighters in the business. He is number one in a weak division and is the king of beaten fighters , b-rate fighters, euros who will never be anything. Ward grow some balllllllllllz and get away from Oakland Arena for once.

Ur dumb

Super middleweight not junior…… I agree with the Ward remarks.. but I’m still going with Dawson.. mostly just from my heart than head but also Dawson has some fast combinations and power that it seems he just never uses.. he has a world of talent so he still has a chance to me…. even if Ward is one of the best

Dead division until exicting ward came with his boring style? What about Kessler and Calzaghe? This writher must be on drugs. Even Lacy was more fun to watch than Ward……

In a way, Ward is more dangerous than Dawson. Ward is still undefeated, plus Dawson might be weakened by trying to make the weight. Dawson isn’t the same dominent force that say, Bernard Hopkins was, though I was picking Chad to beat Bernard. Andre Ward’s confidence is sky-high after cleaning up the jr. middleweight division. You’d be crazy to bet a nickle on this fight.
