Truth Hurts

There were flourishing and intelligent civilizations in the Americas hundreds of years before the English Cream-Puffs arrived with their wigs, plagues and diseases. If you really think that American culture and society is based on British culture, you really have no idea what he USA is all about!

The only thing we have in common is the English language, which is actually Germanic, so I suppose Americans should be thanking Germany. We speak a rare and broken from of English that is extremely creative and puzzling to outsiders. That’s why young urban Brits, try to use our slang and speak just like us trend-setting Americans.

The USA created rock-n-roll, hip-hop, rap music, Hollywood movies and the great porn industry. Y’all can’t compete with that and never will. Nuff said.

Really should be talking about the Golden Age that created civilisation; MESOPOTAMIA (Sumer, Akkad, Assyria and Babylonia) lol

It probably would be better , if this John Wallace , who wrote this article , would stick to writing about the impact of English ” cuisine ” vis- a- vis the
other cuisines of the world , because he knows NOTHING about boxing and
even LESS about history or geography . In reference to boxing ; if someone
states that a ” Golden Age ” of boxing will arrive AFTER the two BEST fighters
in the history of the sort depart , I must question his criteria as to what he considers a Golden Age . I was always under the impression that the Golden Age , was when we had the BEST there is at the time ! He should also stay away from writing about history or geography , since he knows een less about those subjects ; Lombardians ( actual name ; Longhobards ) were NOT
Italian , they were a Germanic tribe , that ruled a portion of Italy from about
the sixth through the seventh century and the H/W division is NOT dominated
for the last decade by Russians , but by Ukrainians . In this ” Golden Age ”
of INFORMATION , when facts are so easily available , it is simply unforgivable to write such nonsense !

Really, the important thing to remember is how FEW British heavyweights there are; ONLY THIRTY TWO active British Heavies compared with THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY TWO active American Heavyweights for example; And yet Tyson Fury and David Haye are better than any active American heavy, Price MIGHT turn out to be, so MIGHT Chisora. And there are no US Heavy prospects as good as Hughie Fury (not to mention Joshua and Joyce if they turn pro)…Not so sure about Towers and Cornish, time will tell!

I think the writer meant that it would be a Golden Age for the BRITISH Heavyweight scene, not necessarily that they would dominate all others for years to come.

Truth Hurts

So basically this Brit-tarded wannabe hack of a writer is saying that the “Golden Age” of boxing will begin shortly after the great Klitschko brothers (2 of the best 3 HWs of all time) retire. LMFAO! Not only is the entire premise of this article completely ridiculous, but the whole piece is terribly written.

clueless writer, the Lombards were Germanic tribe living in italy, not italian, dumbas

Killing Moon The Soothsayer

Meh, I’ll put my money on Eastern Europe to dominate for years to come…Still nice that Britain is able to produce some maybe’s…When the states clearly can’t…

This article is from the onion right? Or mad magazine…
A golden age based on feather fisted clown Tyson fury, and price, solid and promising with zero record, and a fellow called hugie? Hugie who?

Now you have had your joke…where is the real article hiding?

Price gets kayoed again. Haye destroys Fury in 4 or 5. And then let’s see if Haye can unify after the present era. Cos it aint happening when both Ks are around and gamblers…………9/2 best price on a TT stoppage. Bank on it.

If you’re idea of a golden age of boxing is as good as you’re knowledge of history….well neither stack up…..The Lombards were not known for their art….

Why isn’t some of the writers not addressing the exaggeration of the so called importance of Asian fighters like Chris John and this new friscoe Zou! Ill tell you, because theres a lot of money to be made on both sides of the fence! Getting on merit is one thing, but WBA featherweight Champion from Indonesia is a bloody farce! This imposter hasn’t had a competitive fight in 5 years!

rubbish! theres alot of good heavys coming through the ranks in all countrys not just britain. you just dont hear about them!

Like ThePatsan, I quite don’t get it either. 3 hype jobs who hate each other equals golden age? We have 2 supreme athlets right now and quite a bunch of promising contenders (and none of them is english btw). How would that be an improvement?

So, basically, your argument is that “a new Golden Age of boxing is coming because the really good guys are moving out of the way”? lol. After really good guys (Klitschkos) move out of the way (retire), standards will, indeed, be much lower… What is average now will become “Best.” In my opinion that does not define a Golden Age, it defines an expiration of one.

I’m sorry, the Russians? And Haye, Fury, Price – they are all Scottish, right?
