And I find it ironic that Froch belittles Cleverly for a having the WBO belt and says that he’s not a real champion as he doesn’t have one of the big three belts. Froch won his IBF belt from Bute. And did Lucian win it from the champ? nope. Calzaghe was still active, and undoubtedly the true champ at 168 when the IBF stripped him of their title for no reason and gave it to Bute. And correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Kessler lose his WBA belt to Andre Ward? And Ward is still undefeated isn’t he? So, you could say that this bout shouln’t be for the IBF or the WBA belt at all.

Kessler isn’t as light on his feet, or as hungry as he was back in 2006-07. He’s definitely past his best. Even so, I still think he has enough in the tank for victory over Froch. Kessler in 8.

The resident Enema Snooter spell checks all my posts and wastes his time doing moronic critiques… Everybody needs a hobby.

Theres no doubt kessler has deteriorated, his speed and presision its not the same as it was 4-5 years ago . But with montoya kessler has learned some new tricks and maybe shown more of his warrior style. And the power is still there. Gotts love a 50 50 fight with big guys that are real warriors and offcourse world class boxers

Kessler… “I’m not the same fighter who fought Calzaghe. I’m a better fighter, I move my head better. I move better. I can throw a left hook to the body. I’m more experienced. I’ve had the best sparring of my life. I’m in the best shape of my life. I have a better strategy and game plan for this fight than the 1st Froch fight.” He certainly sounds positive. He knows the same effort as last time would give him a loss in England for sure. He’ll have to step it up big time.

Froch isn’t saying a lot.., His thing is to complain about Clevery and Groves helping out Kessler by sparring for him. That does seem odd. Do those guys hate Froch so much they want to lend help and support a Dane??? Calzaghe hates Froch and is already pouring water on any Froch win by saying Kessler has deteriorated.. Froch doesn’t seem to be projecting the same confidence he did for Bute. I still think he’s a better boxer and fighter than Kessler. I just wouldn’t put my money on him reading their confidence levels. Going into a fight like this, where neither guy can box that well, the more determined and hungriest fighter usually wins.. I’ll make Froch a 7:5 favorite because it’s in England.

2 guys going at it for all 12 rounds. Doubt there will be a KO. Toss-up…but you have to favour the home guy.
