Phineas Gage

Stiverne means it, really. It will be a super great heavyweight fight.

California heavyweights have always had a reputation of being beatable when they go up against real fighters. Aurreola will be no different. Stiverne will be the one with his arm raised by the ref when the dust clears from Aurreola hitting the canvas!

hey tark – stiverne is nothing? my friend its pretty obvious that you know absolutely NOTHING about boxing. What the hell are you doing commenting on a boxing site? Unbelievable the morons on here

Watch the fight Ernie Enema Schnozzle.. I know what I’m talking about and you’re an ignorant flake.

Nice, Tard now even knows Chris’ game plan. Your speculation is just that, no solid base underneath it, just more Tarkisms…

This is another fight like the Eric Molina fight… It’s a nothing fight. This guy can’t box and that’s why they took the fight. If Arreola were serious he would fight all the better heavyweights who’ve called him out… Right now he’s doing the Denis Boytsov suffle, and it’s been his game plan ever since he fought Adamek.

horst fraze

the smart money is on arreola, i wonder why? could it be because he’s the better fighter or is it that stiverne is out of his league.or both?

‘Bolivian’ was Tyson’s malapropism for ‘oblivion’, Ernie. Something you’d know if you weren’t busy giving Bert BJs on Sesame Street.

Bring it on!- can’t wait for this one, tickets booked and already to go :) – still hoping/thinking big Chris will pull off the win by stoppage.

..i’m here to chop your head off.” hahahahaha

Stiverne has a very good amature background and has been knocking everyone out. Arreola is definately a step up but he is ready for him and he will tag arreola. It will be a good test because arreola will be throwing volume. I think stiverne will catch him with a brutal KO punch.

It’s Me, Ernie

When has Arreola’s weight ever been a factor in one of his bouts?

Areola (one ‘r’ away from a nipple), one of the prime examples of the ‘evolution’ of the modern ‘Heavy’weight fighter.

flash knock down

This is going to be one rock’em sock’em head banging fight . I am a fan of Chris he is a real fighter he has seen it all . The only thing I worry about with Chris is his weight . If Chris comes into this fight in shape he will give Ssivere the beating of his life. I have seen Stiverne fight a couple of times not a very skilled fighter but he has a lot of heart and he wont quit. Chris is the harder puncher Stiverne will want to show that he is no punk and stand and trade with Chris . This will be his down fall Chris wins this fight by 5th round knock out. This is the biggest fight of Stiverne life Chris has been here before and he will look like it.

Stiverne has never fought the caliber of fighters that Arreola has – easy win for Chris. Stiverne lost to an 11-15 fighter named Demetrice King by TKO.

Arreola is a loser.

Posted April 25, 2013 9:51 am

Chris is gonna knock this clown out

Can’t wait for this fight. Very interesting! Agree, talk is cheap.

Ray Austin couldn’t miss Stiverne in their fight. Then again, one punch ended the fight for a Stiverne win. I think Arreola is a better all around fighter and should win on points. Stiverne, always with a puncher’s chance.

Talk is cheap, Arreola wins on points.

Man – this is gonna be a GREAT fight. Cant see any other way for this to happen except in an all out slugfest. I cant call the winner – i love both fighters and will be staying neutral. But this is fight of the century material right here.

I think Stiverne will tag chris and it will be good night. Chris will put alot of pressure on Stiverne and will test him until he gets caught

Posted April 25, 2013 4:08 am

@Bigred… I’ve never noticed Stiverne being afraid of anyone before. And he’s knocked out bigger men than Arreola, although whether they could hit as hard as Arreola…? Like other contributors I’d be amazed if both these boxers are standing at the end.
I just love the ‘got medieval’ and ‘…being sent into Bolivian’, puglife. Great stuff.

Posted April 25, 2013 3:08 am

I love watching Arreola fight. He hasn’t fought much lately. I think Stiverne is scared and is going to get hurt.

Posted April 25, 2013 2:31 am

Arrella will be tough for Steiverne, anytime you hear a man saying, “you will have to kill me first”, there is always fear in the background.

Posted April 25, 2013 1:52 am

It’s Me, Ernie

LMAO! Try “oblivion”…

Posted April 25, 2013 12:56 am

Stiverne got medieval at the presser. Haven’t heard something that wacky since Tyson threatened to eat Lewis’ children (before promptly being sent into Bolivian by LL).

Posted April 25, 2013 12:52 am

Awesome match-up. This one might go down like Arreola’s fight with Travis Walker a few years back, where they trade knockdowns and the guy that’s better at getting up and fighting back wins.
