stupid loser

Funny thing, isn’t this the same writer that said Broner has a better defense then Mayweather, now writing more on Broner??

stupid loser

maybe 3 rounds. should be 80-1 up to 5, 800-1 beyond 5, and the national debt-1 he can go the distance

Posted February 5, 2013 1:16 am

sorry odds might as well be 800-1, Rees just don’t have a chance the boy is just too good

Chicago guy

Happyboy will be unhappygirl after his fighter lost to Rees

Posted February 4, 2013 1:43 pm

Chicago guy

Broner shoulder rolling defence wll not be effecctive.Rees will knockout this Floyd jr. duplicate.

Posted February 4, 2013 7:05 am

…. and lets remember that this author has previously claimed that Broner has already proven himself to be better than Floyd Mayweather, lol. That puts this article into perspective.

Posted February 4, 2013 4:08 am

….. and so the hype continues. Broner is a fantastic talent but lets not get carried away as 80:1 odds is too high. Any longterm fan knows that odds this large are quite stupid especially when Rees has proved he can operate at the top level. Broner should win, but taking Rees this likely shows that Broner is getting hyped too much.

Posted February 4, 2013 4:06 am

And guess who’s back Chicago Clown, he is back. Still hatin on Broner.

Posted February 4, 2013 3:36 am

Broner is the truth and in time yall will all see. Everybody is quick to judge but he doesn’t have that many fights. Yall need to wait until a bit longer in his career when he has had some more fights.

Posted February 4, 2013 12:45 am

Broner is incredibly overrated just like Ortiz, Berto, and ever other hbo hypejob. When will you people learn..its all about promoting, matchmaking, and smoke and mirrors. Broner is a good fighter, but until he takes on the toughest challenges, theres no reason to rate him so highly. An underfeated record inst a good reason. Being loud and self promoting isnt a reason. He has one good win as of now against a good style matchup for him, a gift over the best guy hes fought, and a bunch of wins against C level fighters. I used to blame hbo, now I just blame sucker fans.

It’s Me, Ernie

Boner will get whipped when he takes on top fighters…

Posted February 3, 2013 8:33 pm

Ban corrupt judges

Broner is reasonably a clear favourite, but Rees is no mug and can bang a bit. He is also short and will try getting inside. I would not be totally shocked to see Broner cut and I would not therefore be offering odds above 20-1.

As far as Ricky Burns is concerned – he hasn’t ducked anybody and would be a handful for anyone in the weight division. His persona hides a seriously hard operator who has ring smarts and a great engine. Boner may well find himself in places he has never been before against Burns.

Posted February 3, 2013 5:04 pm

rees is gonna tear broner a new arse hole.

Posted February 3, 2013 4:56 pm

Rees may be tough and relentless, but Broner will pick him apart and break him down.

Posted February 3, 2013 4:43 pm

Dum Dum

I have to say MC’s articles have sold me a fight I wasn’t the least bit interested in a few weeks ago. I realise this isn’t the BBC so there’s no need to be impartial but anything other than a first round stoppage will raise serious questions about the author’s ability to pick a fight….Boxtradamus anyone!?

Posted February 3, 2013 1:45 pm

broner will be hit 2 to 1 but still win by robbery.

Posted February 3, 2013 11:19 am

best odds i can find is 46-1 on Rees, its worth putting a twenty spot on it.

Posted February 3, 2013 6:24 am

Rees wil get smoked early, total mismatch

Posted February 3, 2013 6:19 am

I’ll give anyone 1000 – 1 odds, Rees is gonna get F up.

Posted February 3, 2013 6:18 am

i think this reporter has been smoking something.hes wanting to get on broners say i told you broner was a legend.p4p future word guys.LACEY.
never ever ever forget it………

Posted February 3, 2013 3:13 am

make that 7 rounds.

Posted February 3, 2013 2:57 am

Ponce de leon2 , gamboa are fighters that com into mind for broner or he should try his luck in the 140 div knowing he has no problem moving up there is a reason he is not moving up, mathysee, comming to mind rios heck I even think Khan would be a challenge

Posted February 3, 2013 2:01 am

Fights a joke no matter how you look at it.

Posted February 3, 2013 1:54 am

It is not a mismatch, that’s disrepecting Rees, or some posters have not seen Rees and just presume Broner is all that, even though he has not beaten anyone, Rees will suprise some people when he fights Broner, he is not the favourite but will do well.

Edgar Guevara

Who wants to watch a mismatch is my concern? If you do and putting comments here. You out your mind. Myself just reading this, I don’t care to see it really. Who’s at fault DLH and HBO like always. Kicking their own ass.

Posted February 2, 2013 10:01 pm

Rees has a good record former lightweight champ 37/1 ….a very solid competitor could give bonner problems fingers crossed …….

Posted February 2, 2013 9:52 pm

lol chicano gai is back …

Posted February 2, 2013 6:41 pm

Who’s offering 80-1 odds then? The highest I can find is 25-1 from a company I’ve never heard of. Most bookies are offering 11’s or 12’s. I’d definitely stick a sizeable wedge on 80’s…….

Posted February 2, 2013 5:54 pm

Chicago guy

Odds doesn’t win the fight. Once overhyped Broner feel Rees power he will just hit and run to earn points

Posted February 2, 2013 4:32 pm

If he really thinks the price is too long then why not bet his purse on himself? Because he hasn’t got a hope in hell perhaps? Rees career is built on the fact that Macarinelli and Calzaghe needed a home fighter to send on earlier for the fans

Posted February 2, 2013 4:16 pm

Some of stories and comments defy belief and make me wonder if people have even bothered to watch Rees? he comes from the same stable and training as Calzaghe and Cleverley and has a very brutal and hurtful style. There are a lot of ignorant people who just follow the blurb written up by lazy journalists who have little credentials other than following the rest of the sheep. Mark my words, Broner is in for the toughest fight so far in his career. Rees is a warrior who has been in the game for many years. His record is fantastic and he has a style that will trouble any fighter in this and surrounding weight classes. I for one will be having a side bet on Rees as the value is amazing. It will be interesting to see how Broner copes with getting hit for the first time and the ensuing pummeling that Rees inflicts so well on the inside. If Broner takes Rees lightly he is in for a humbling experience.

Posted February 2, 2013 3:42 pm

Broner is massively overrated. His best wins are against limited fighters (DeMarco, Litzau etc.) Struggled with Ponce DeLeon. He’ll beat Rees comfortably tho.
Once Burns has dealt with Vazquez, Broner can get it next.

Posted February 2, 2013 3:25 pm

Rees wake up pal, this is a complete steam roll job for Broner, how Rees got a world title shot quite frankly is beyond belief.

Posted February 2, 2013 3:14 pm

Yeah yeah yeah, the odds should be 1000000000000-1 , Yade yade yada ! I got 2 words for you: Buster Douglas . If Rees pulls off an upset, you never write about boxing again ,deal?

Posted February 2, 2013 2:58 pm

Rees has better odds of beating Broner than you do of ever getting taken seriously as a scribe. Sad little man.
