I’d like to see Ward vs. Dirrell! I think Andre Dirrell can beat Froch, he is faster, and has really put some power behind his punches! The only problem is Dirrell ain’t boxing enough.Posted January 15, 2013 1:10 pm
Who cares whether Ward is the best SMW in the world (we all know that already)…it means nothing with regards to this fight. All I can say is I’m very much looking forward to watching these 2 slug it out again. I’d pay to watch this any day of the week….at least you know you’re not going to get a borefestPosted January 15, 2013 9:34 am
What figting at home is…… bent over??? get real!!Posted January 15, 2013 6:16 am
Agree with the author that the fight not nearly as big as Hatton-Tzysu or Calzaghe-Kessler however Amir Khan is not a bigger draw at the gate than Froch. Khan biggest crowds where against Barrea 20,000 the majority of which turned out to see a true great of the sport in Barrera and 16,000 against McCloskey, 8,000 of which travelled across the Irish Sea. Khan only had 5,000 in the MEN Arena when he fought for his 1st world title, Froch was getting more than that for British title fights and regularly fills the 10,000 Nottingham Arena when he actually fights at home!Posted January 14, 2013 5:32 pm
Ward already BENT over and took it to the lessor Froch and Kessler… Both very good tough outs but clearly not on Wards level these guys can fight it out but we have seen the upper limit of their skills… Froch is a tough battler but he has had MORE than one struggle against Dirrell, Kessler, Talylor till the KO and Ward who took him to school…Kessler is moving along carefully at this point knocking out a spent fighter like Allan Green… Both men should fight and perhaps Ward will grant the winner ANOTHER beating but honestly they barely deserve mention alongside SOG.Posted January 14, 2013 1:16 pm
Yes Ward is the greatest paper champ. With Ward being above Smw rematches, and the Lhw division being quite boring, how do you see Ward going on. Where are the money fights, for the feather duster. Hopkins? Pascal? I guess the only two money fights out there for Ward is Dawson and Hopkins in the Lhw division.Posted January 14, 2013 5:14 am
Calzaghe vs Kessler was a bigger fight for the UK than this one… Be serious… The reason for that is, both Calzaghe and Kessler were undefeated—and were rated the 2 top super middleweights in the world..
Froch and Kessler are now a couple of also-rans with 4 defeats … and Ward is the undefeated champion who beat them both.Posted January 13, 2013 11:00 pm
I fully agree with that, it has to be said! You can’t take a title by running and throwing your self on the floor all night and yet after all the crying and winging the controversy continued in the Abraham fight…discraceful!
Look both Kessler and Froch has had some warmup fights against dangerous fighters, since their last bout: Kessler = Journeyman Boudala + Up in weight against Green + Tough Magee. Froch = Abraham -not a smw fighter + Johnson = Journeyman + Ward = Loss + Bute = Overrated + Mack = Came down from Lhw. Lets be honest: Kesslers Ko of Green (a Lhw) was impressive + Magee was dismantled in a way, noone had done before. Froch = Abraham victory beautiful outboxing of King Arthur + Bute -A mental victory. Lets be more honest: Kessler and Froch needs to step up in quality opponent now. There is one fight in Smw = Froch vs Kessler. Eventhough Kessler lost to Calzaghe in a brave fight (I wont mention his injury) I loved that fight. I have no doubt that Kessler was Calzaghes hardest fight. Now I view Calzaghe as the best Smw ever.Posted January 13, 2013 1:27 pm
Look what the hell do you want from the Viking Warrior, he has said several times that he owes Froch the rematch in England, he wants the fight as much as Froch, the two men talk on the phone, continuously. The fight is going to happen in 2013. Kessler is better than ever, with his new trainer, Montaya. The only fight that is up there the last 10 years is Calzaghe vs Kessler. I remember when people said that Carl had no defence, no boxing skills, now some people say that Kessler is done. Look at your own british newspapers after the first fight, listen to Frochs trainer between the rounds, Kessler won by 2-3 rounds, in 2010. I think people are in for a huge upset through Kessler, now that Froch is heavy favourite.Posted January 13, 2013 10:04 am

How about this, get a passport, use a passport, become informed about the world outside America. It’s hard to take Americans seriously when they spout off about the world for which they’ve never seen. Yet they’re SO confident in their own ignorance.
Kessler had a home fight against Froch, is it unfair for Froch to have a home fight with the offer of a 3rd fight on neutral groundings? It’s a big decision for Kessler as he might retire soon, just like Froch, so he’s taking his time to decide which is understandable.Posted January 13, 2013 7:18 am
dont the annon poosies not get that no one reads annon posts, put your name beside your big gobs if you want any respect.Posted January 13, 2013 6:45 am
what froch says is true, everyone and his dog knows this will be an amazing fight if they seen the first battle, with the Cobra you know whats coming, an all out warrrrrr!Posted January 13, 2013 6:43 am
Totally agree Dirrell was awful and no way deserved the decision. It’s a shame for him as when he did engage with Froch he looked the better fighter. But Froch definitely deserved the win.Posted January 13, 2013 4:49 am
This fight will probably happen in 2014. Ha Ha! That’s how long it will take until Kessler is healthy. Kessler always pulls out of fights due to injury. Froch will be wasting precious time in his carrer waiting for Kessler to acually make it to the arena/stadium.Posted January 13, 2013 12:40 am

Hahah Froch trying everything he can to get the rematch it cracks me up!Posted January 12, 2013 7:07 pm
Controversial decision over Dirrell? Dirrel ran, held, complained, the one thing he didn’t do was fight. He lost practically every round.Posted January 12, 2013 7:02 pm
This is the most pointless article I’ve read in a while. Carl Froch agreed to fight Kessler in Denmark when he was champion, and lost the title in what he (and many others) believed to be a hometown decision. So you’re saying Kessler (who has little to lose since he holds no title) may be making a bad move in fighting Froch in England because there MIGHT be a bad decision? Are you one of the people who complains that great fights don’t get made often enough?Posted January 12, 2013 6:49 pm
