Why do you think GBP is not competing for the money by making this a free show. They will make full money next fight with cotto vs canelo. Not having to share ppv. But now they will take the most viewers as possible from watching a ppv show. When they can watch another one almost as good. Without having to pay a cent. That’s what Arum wanted by trying to mess with GBP. When he chose the same day canelo was fighting just to force boxing fans to choose a fight and reduce profits to half for both companys. Canelo could have fought cotto this September but arum forced them to be smarter by being DUMB himself.Lol. That’s it.

Where was your boyfriend Lara or Kirkland or martirosyan at the age of 22. Which great fighter did they beat at that age. Please answer all you wise people. They are over 25 yrs now and who are the great fighters they defeat. Only Kirkland has won against an ok Alfredo Angulo. But he wanted a lot of money to fight a 22 yr old kid. What a joke. Please guys come on I know you are smarter than that. I agree with you that he shouldn’t have the WBC belt if he is not fighting the mandatory challengers but even if he didn’t have the belt most of you would still be pooping crap through your mouths.thats a fact.

Lol I was about to say something about the 23 lbs . Lol but you beat me to it.

Posted August 17, 2012 2:49 pm

Ok, i got it now. It’s 13lbs. Duh! I’m a moron!
Still looks in great shape to say he’s got 13lbs to lose though.

That picture cannot be Canelo at 167lbs.
Now way can he lose 23lbs off of that physique. He looks ripped already there.

The 1 pound difference you see here, isn’t anything more than smokescreen for the gullible. Lopez, was small at welterweight, he’ll be even smaller at jr. middleweight. He’s moving up too quick. The only good that can come from this fight is seeing Lopez shock everyone, for the second time in a row.

Slim Whitman

Holy Bartender

Pass that crackpipe you’ve got there. I could do with a hit.

This is a farce! GBP Should really be ashamed of themselves!

“which requires title fight participants to be no more than 10% of the contracted weight limit.” LOL. I think the author meant to say the participants could weigh no more than 10% OVER the contracted weight limit. Otherwise, we’d have two 15-pounders duking it out for the pantywaist championship of the world.

Canelo will smash this fool and anybody in weight class from 140/160 so haters deal with it.

Can’t wait for this one!!

little guy?

They’re within a pound of each other 30 day pre-fight? Who is the little guy, Canelo?

Posted August 16, 2012 12:47 am

Tomato Can

I’m not feeling this fight, I hope the little guy finds a way to win though.

Crap fight!

I think this fight will be exciting. Lopez I feel will be stronger at 154lbs. It’s closer to his natural weight. He can focus on his skills and training without having to dehydrate himself. Alvarez has more advantages but I feel if lopez uses his jab and boxes with Alvarez instead of brawling he could have another upset victory.

The Mad Scientist

Can’t stress it enough, this format really sucks and ESB needs to go back to the original form..anyways, win or lose hopefully Josesito comes elevated from his fight with Canelo and moves down to a more proper weight and challenges the top guys at 140/147..

Posted August 15, 2012 9:27 pm

Wait! “Knockout Kings”? Really? Hmmm. okay. Reaching for viewers. Sorry, but Martinez vs Chavez is going to smash “Knockout Kings”.

Posted August 15, 2012 7:27 pm

I’m surprised at how much Josesito weighs….Josesito was probably wearing all his gear and most likely hasn’t even started cutting weight, while Canelo was butt a** naked after sweating in the sauna for hours LOL.
