Way to man UP and come out with an admission Jester. GOOD job! Now get back to nabbing some more DUMMIES for ME so I can get a GOOD laugh today. Props to you for your admission. I’m proud to be your KING Carry ON.Posted August 16, 2014 3:42 pm
LMFAO. NICE entertainment Jester!! You sure DO make a FOOL out of TARK and Fight Aficionado but the FACT is that Porter will come away with the SLAUGHTERHOUSE WIN. And YOU will have disappeared while I remain here celebrating after the bout!!!! I cant wait!!!Posted August 15, 2014 11:25 am
I ALWAYS post MY predictions before my disciples do. They ALWAYS wait for me to post first so they can TRY to steal the limelight from ME. You heard it here first: Brook by SMASHING KO.Posted August 15, 2014 10:30 am
Why would you tell anyone to ignore YOURSELF??? Porter with the SLAUGHTERHOUSE WIN.Posted August 15, 2014 10:18 am
Brook will win by SMASHING KO in this fight. Ignore my jester. Brook will WIN just like me. I will be ready to celebrate my victory on Saturday night.Posted August 15, 2014 10:07 am
Is kelly going to walk into the Ring with Kellie Maloney.Posted August 15, 2014 9:19 am
No disrespect porter=PorterPosted August 15, 2014 5:51 am
Kell has all the skill to take Porter, but will he have the patience and composure to work him all night….Shawn is a swarmer but a very dangerous one,he does is best work up close and personnel…also he’s a rule bender with an unbelievable engine…he starts in top gear and stays in it…Kell is strong and a good boxer and sometimes his punches have a delayed effect which could give Shawn fits…Can Kell keep him off him…I doubt it……….Shawn had a terrific amateur career. I’ll go with an early win for porter….Posted August 15, 2014 3:50 am
Competitive, meaning you actually boxed a person in front of several hundred or thousand spectators, and judges turned in scorecards.
Not that you dominated an ant or fly by squashing one at one time.Posted August 15, 2014 2:35 am
“That’s incredibly naive…”-No I’m incredibly SLY. I’m SO sly that I can tell you what I’m going to DO and then go out and DO it. And you are CORRECT. I was never competitive. I was always DOMINANT.Posted August 15, 2014 1:51 am
Nope. I took Porter with the ROUGH HOUSE WIN on the DAY that the Fight was announced and I stayed with it till I WON. IF one of MY disciples or MY personal Jester fooled YOU thats on YOU not ME. I took Porter over Malignaggi and I was CORRECT. EASY WIN for ME.Posted August 15, 2014 1:47 am
I’m sticking my neck out and going with Brook over Porter by split decision. Porter has enough power and a good enough straight right to keep Porter honest. Lunging in like he did against Malignaggi won’t be as successful against Brook because Kell has the power to hurt Shawn, unlike Paulie Malignaggi.
It should be a good fight.Posted August 14, 2014 11:27 pm
Boxtra claims.., “I’m not saying that I’m just going to throw 10 in a row with no pause in between. I’m saying that I will mix in 10 straight lefts and then BOOOOM drop the Right on that Jaw.”
That’s incredibly naive… If the jab is there you take it. If the right lead is there you take it. If the lead hook is there you take it. If a jab to the liver is there you send it in.
If you throw predetermined punches at this level you’re dead. They’ll be punches you’re looking for, but you don’t just go out and throw them.
You have to have finished weapons to take advantage of any openings you get at the World Championship level. Brook and Porter have the weapons. You were never a competitive boxer or trainer at any level.Posted August 14, 2014 9:29 pm
Boxtradamus, you predicted Malignaggi would school Porter and everyone knows it…
Just like you made several posts saying Russell would beat Lomachenko… And you even challenged me to make my prediction — which I did right behind your post picking Lomachenko.
You’re a shameless liar.Posted August 14, 2014 9:12 pm
“You take the openings as they come… or a good counterpuncher will sit on your left after 4 or 5 straight, and knock you cold.”-Nope. I’m always aware of return FIRE. And I’m not saying that I’m just going to throw 10 in a row with no pause in between. I’m saying that I will mix in 10 straight lefts and then BOOOOM drop the Right on that Jaw. DO that and then you’re on your way to Victory against Brook. He won’t know WHAT hit him.Posted August 14, 2014 9:08 pm
Just as I had SCHOOLED Herron on, Paulie had jabs but no power. When you don’t have power SMART guys aren’t going to respect your jab and that’s what Porter DID. He helped ME to prove MY point to Herron that Power shots are GREATER than Jabs. Malignaggi agrees with ME on that. Herrera agrees with ME TOO.Posted August 14, 2014 8:46 pm
Wrong again. I took Porter by ROUGH HOUSE WIN over Paulie and I was CORRECT on that. Thanks for reminding ME!!!!!!!Posted August 14, 2014 8:44 pm
Boxtra claims.., “Brook is a SUCKER for Rights. I’d come in and throw 10 lefts and then start unloading mostly Rights. IF you have a GOOD Right hand you stop Brook.”
You don’t throw 10 lefts in a row and start unloading rights. You take the openings as they come… or a good counterpuncher will sit on your left after 4 or 5 straight, and knock you cold.
Besides… Brook is not a sucker for rights. Senchenko was a World Champion for 5 fights. He was 34-1 and flattened Hatton. He had a fair right that he couldn’t get on Brook. Brook took him out in the 4th. If Porter gets his right on Brook he’ll earn the opening. Porter’s easy KO of Malignaggi—and you predicted Malignaggi would win—could make him overconfident.
Porter by UD.Posted August 14, 2014 8:27 pm
Judges will not be needed, Brook by KO.Posted August 14, 2014 8:04 pm
This does indeed look like a very interesting fight but I am wondering if all three judges, and the referee, will be Americans?Posted August 14, 2014 7:55 pm
Brook is a SUCKER for Rights. I’d come in and throw 10 lefts and then start unloading mostly Rights. IF you have a GOOD Right hand you stop Brook.Posted August 14, 2014 7:17 pm
The only way I see Porter getting this done, is early. If it goes the distance that means Brook has jabbed his face off…I hope!Posted August 14, 2014 7:07 pm
I hope Porter follows through with what he says he’ll do. Too often guys claim they’re going for the KO and settle into a boring tactical fight. If he does bring heat he’ll get new fans but if it’s a snorebore everyone will forget about him. So he should not view this as a “just win” fight.Posted August 14, 2014 6:27 pm
Brook is going to knock Porter out in devastating fashion.Unless Porter has been Balco’d.Posted August 14, 2014 5:14 pm
Can’t wait now. #AllOfTheLightsPosted August 14, 2014 3:46 pm
Like most modern Hype Jobs,Brook Also Runs out of Gas.Posted August 14, 2014 2:23 pm
This pundit says.., “It’s telling that Brook had major problems against Jones in their first fight.”
What’s it telling? … They had a rematch didn’t they?
Didn’t Porter have problems with Julio Diaz in their 1st fight? He was robbed blind with the draw. He won the fight easy. But Shawn had problems which he DIDN’T have in their rematch.
It’s called developing your skills and growing as a fighter. Neither is the same fighter they were 2 years ago. The only telling thing is how much they’ve improved since less-than-masterful performances a long time ago.Posted August 14, 2014 2:06 pm
I just can’t wait for this fight, I hope the ref or the judges don’t ruin the night.Posted August 14, 2014 1:29 pm
Brook will pull out a close UD in this fight. Ignore my jester. Brook will WIN just like me. I will be ready to celebrate my victory on Saturday night.Posted August 14, 2014 1:22 pm
The dude- I agree with you that this fight, on paper, is the toughest fight for both these guys. I do favor Porter, in part because I haven’t seen enough of Brooks and from what I’ve seen he’s got good skills, speed and power, but he’s a bit straight up and seems to tire- but also Porter is not just a brawler, he’s got decent skills as well. It’s an interesting fight for sure for two guys trying to become the future of the division.Posted August 14, 2014 1:20 pm
Taking Porter by decision.Posted August 14, 2014 12:51 pm
Porter will attack from the start only to get caught early, he will then retreat and get beat via points decision.
In my opinion Brook punches harder than Porter. You will all see this on saturday night.Posted August 14, 2014 12:36 pm
I took Porter with the SLAUGHTERHOUSE WIN and I stand by MY pick.Posted August 14, 2014 12:31 pm
Typos…. dont you just hate them!! was meant to say”bias view”.Posted August 14, 2014 10:58 am
Sorry but the author has use a lot of assertions and assumption in his bias via…. I should remind him of the Ragamuffin man… not given a chance against Don Curry. Personally i can see this fight going either way… not wanting to sit on the fence… but it is for me a 50/50 fight!! PS as for Porters comparison to Tyson and a force to be reckoned with… again I should point to the invincible Jeff Lacy and his road crash of a fight against Joe Cal!!Posted August 14, 2014 10:56 am
It could also be telling that Brook dominated the second fight V Jones which shows he learned from the first fight against a tough rugged messy come forward fighter.
Alot of these articles are writing Brook off but it seems premature. If anything this is also Porters toughest test. Devon Alexander is a good fighter but for me he’s got 3 defeats, Porter, Bradley and Matthysse beat him and as for Paulie as much as I like the guy he was never a welterweight. People said he was spent when Kahn took him apart 2/3 years ago.
If brook can deter Porter with his clean powerful punches and not gas out it’ll be a interesting fight Brook can win.
On the other hand if Porter can get inside and spoil and wail away he will win.
This is a great fight 50/50 or 55/45 in favour of porter since he’s the champ but disregard Brook at your peril. If Porter has the same ideas as most of the writers on eastside he’ll be in for a shock.
Can’t wait for the fight!Posted August 14, 2014 10:50 am
