Yes, Philly Shell Arce is going to get KTFO.

Posted October 22, 2012 2:10 pm

philly shell

at least Arce will come to fight – unlike Nonito’s last few opponents. Arce’s going to get KTFO

Posted October 22, 2012 1:14 pm

Nonito keeping his formula going, fighting everyone but the top 3 fighters, he is doing everything he can to avoid Mares, Moreno an Rigo what a waste get some heart like Mares an fight anyone.

Posted October 21, 2012 9:18 am

Donaire has a flashy style against smaller opponents. He can get away with showboating against smaller guys he is used to beating, but im interested to see how he handles a prime fighter his own size. Then ill know how flashy and impressive he can be in a competitive fight. Enter Rigo.
Until then he hasnt proved himself p4p for me, he’s just shown how impressive he looks vs smaller guys

Posted October 21, 2012 6:02 am

@ happyboy. U said it right.

Posted October 21, 2012 5:58 am

Top Stink at it again, cherrypickin to greatness, Arce beats Vasquez jnr, they choose jnr, Arce quits they choose him, Nishioka ws 36yrs old handn’t had a fight in over a year, Mathebula who? Next will be the loser of Moreno vs Mares as clearly thats the route to so called greatness. Soon Nonito will be sayin Pacman lines too ” speak to my promoter” I don’t pick fights.

Posted October 21, 2012 2:51 am

Rigondeaux is just a cigarette over-hyped as a cigar. Judging from his (Rigo) last performance, Nonito will introduce him to real professional fighting without the head gear and pitty-pat scoring in the amateurs.

Posted October 21, 2012 1:13 am

Pure money fight. Uncompetitive. Arce better get a good purse coz he’s sacrificing another piece of himself in this fight.
Hopefully we see donaire vs a real contender soon. I dont even really care if he fights mares coz thats just another smaller guy (who i feel did not deserve his points victory ova darchinyan). Donaire specialises on fighting smaller guys. Bring on Rigo instead!

Posted October 20, 2012 10:25 pm

I hear you Te Tumbo. Donaire does have talent, and like all world champions, they all have a certain amount of time to fight at their best in their time. he’s already beaten some good fighters, but he’s never really been tested by guys that can handle his punch and match his skill level. A win over Mares, Rigondeaux or Moreno would definitely raise his stock. I recall Sugar Ray Leonard fighting guys, but never taking on the real tough or elite fighters, and then he took on Benitez, Duran, Hearns and the rest was history. Donaire has beaten enough of these guys. He’s getting older, and that window of opportunity to take on the top guys, while in his prime is closing. Arce is tough as nails, but realistically, he’s going to take a beating. Donaire has to fight the best in his era and in the divisions he’s fighting in to be considered one of the best.

te tumbo

HECDOG, Donaire’s got the talent to challenge the best during his remaining prime. i respect Arce but win or lose Donaire’s spinning his wheels and why? if he’s ever gonna do it that moment is now and there’s plenty of comp to do it against as a prime and seasoned veteran champion. Nonito’s needs to Step-Up and soon.

Nggas aint sht

here we go again!!
This matter remains in doubt, but cuban fraud is getting another puke in the ring!! its garantee 100%

Posted October 20, 2012 4:56 pm

Supreme Court

Here we go again!
This is Pacquiao deja vu!!!!!
Its obvious that Arum is attempting to substitute Pacquiao by another Filipino Fraud Nonitio Donaire.
This is exactly the same pathway Pacquiao took: avoiding the best in his division; then moving up when the pressure builds up;; and fight old-past prime fighter. But that’s gonna come soon, mark my word! After Arce, he will move up, then you’ll start hearing about catch -weight. Arum’s plan is based on the huge pool of morons ….

Posted October 20, 2012 4:49 pm

ill bet anything arce will bring is to donair for as long as it last, hey flash there are two other guys out there after arce mares and rigo . by the way ARCE is not done yet so dont counthim out just yet

Posted October 20, 2012 4:48 pm

Nggas aint sht

The only guy who gives donaire some problems is Mares……thats it that all!!

I’ll just love donaire nggas games, Rigo must waits or fights shtbums til payday. Donaire must fights the winner of Mares & the other frauster Anselmo. Aselmo is another form of poodle ass flake who supposed schooled Donaire after Montiel, but the stinky puke went on to signed with Golden Snatch.

Posted October 20, 2012 4:36 pm

Use to support arce before he quit, how exactly is nonito supposes get credit for this??Should he be praised for fighting the most dangerous fighter out there lol.I see a trend.Smaller 5’2 midget narvaez,They criticize Rigo for not having fan base yet they go after a real unknown in mathebula haha who are you fooling?Nishioka best win vs old marquez & 1 yr layoff.Arce safe bet because he quit his last fight see how they carefully choose & pick their fights? This is not hate or bs just a special sport that is very corrupt deal wit it nonito is great person but he is hype & people aint buying it.

Posted October 20, 2012 4:23 pm

baboon fl0m0s

Donaire is taking fl0m0s cherry picking fruits!
but many still slurpin ugly boy floyd greatness cherry picker. This fight is totally sh#t but still better than cuban fraud. What Marroquin did to cuban fraud is a perfect game plan for donaire as we know, cuban fraud HAS NO CHIN.

Posted October 20, 2012 4:18 pm

KOrnerman,You could make the same case for rigo.Nonito is not hard to hit & gets tagged by every opponent, he couldn’t finish a 5’3 narvaez, mathebula & was getting tagged at will vs vazquez jr who had just gotten ko’d & he’s so supposes to KO a master technician??lol ok.The nonito p4p hype train continues.

Posted October 20, 2012 4:13 pm

Big Al

Donaire’s excuse for not fighting Rigo changes everytime he’s asked, but he makes no excuses for taking so many easy fights in a row? He deserves all the criticism he receives. I hope he goes down in a flaming pile.

Posted October 20, 2012 3:42 pm

I knew it donaire doesn’t really want to fight the best in his division. Arcs is a tough fight but this is all about the money. After this fight donaire has to step up to the plate and fight either rigo, Moreno or mares.

Posted October 20, 2012 2:26 pm

big head

if arce fights scared then he really needs to retire cause when have arce ever fight scared before

Posted October 20, 2012 2:24 pm

Te Tumbo, good post. Michael Carbajal? That goes way back, and you’re right on with the risking greatness. That’s exactly what Donaire needs to do if he wants to cement any kind of greatness. Right now, he’s beginning to lose credibility.

Posted October 20, 2012 2:13 pm

te tumbo

Awww C-Mon?!?!? Donaire has begun to look below the low-hanging frut of the division to pick up fruit that’s already dropped to the ground. this boy ought to be ashamed of himself. i will Boycott this fight. somebody or something has got to Push Donaire towards risking actual greatness not this chronic padding of his ring-resume with a Name that actually challenged Michael Carbajal(?!) for his title during a bygone era of Boxing.

Posted October 20, 2012 1:45 pm

Mares on the otherhand would push Donaire hard and could even win.

Posted October 20, 2012 1:32 pm

Donaire would KO Rigondeaux ,he was badly wobbled in his last fight, suspect chin.

Posted October 20, 2012 1:31 pm

Donaire and Arum continue to try to fool us all. What a joke! Nishioka was a damn joke, Arce is an even bigger joke! The true, elite fighters in the division are as we all know Mares, Moreno, Rigondeaux, and Mikey Garcia. Donaire/Arum are avoiding them like the plague. They should be ashamed of themselves because they are well aware of who the people want Donaire to fight. Rigondeaux needs more fights? Please, he’s old as far as boxing is concerned, but Donaire still refuses to take him on. Mr. Arum sure knows to to milk his cash cows. What a damn shame, I think Donaire probably would fight these guys, but Mr. Arum has him handcuffed. And, Mares, Moreno, Rigondeaux and garcia would beat Donaire. A few of these guys would KO him. Moreno & Mares are the true champions, they fight the best and that’s why the public loves these guys. Donaire is beginning to get the backlash of many fans because he continues to fight these guys that have nothing to offer, but if we listen to Arum, they are all monsters. What a joke!

Donaire KO win by 2ndthe round.

Based on their respective styles, I see Doniare blowing away Arce early.

Posted October 20, 2012 1:25 pm

Meant today is Nonito going to blitz him.

Posted October 20, 2012 1:08 pm

Nicolas- I do think Arce is a HOF fighter. Is going to blitz him? Probably, except for his surprising performance against WV2, he had been in decline for a couple of years, but you know at least Arce will give it a go. Maybe the old Mexican warrior in him (aka PED?), can give it a go for a while.

DONAIRE 1.05 PM 1O/2O/2O12

Posted October 20, 2012 1:03 pm

el chapo

Nonito puts arce to sleep in the first.

Posted October 20, 2012 1:02 pm

To call Arce a future hall of famer is ludicrous. If he is he will not deserve it. Yes he has won four alphabet titles, but they are just that. alphabet titles, whearas Donaire has a far greater claim to be a four weight class champion. For this fight, Donaire’s greatest difficulties would possibly be the fans of Mexico City if they don’t like what they see. That this fight is scheduled to happen so soon has also to make one believe that it is not considered a difficult fight for Donaire to win.

Posted October 20, 2012 12:44 pm

Acre takes a nap. I guess donaire misses ktfo people.

Posted October 20, 2012 12:37 pm

I think a better fight would be between Donaire and Mares. Rigondeaux is skilled but he was rocked in his last fight. I think Donaire would stop him.

Posted October 20, 2012 12:23 pm

Who cares? … After the easy win Nonito will be asked again about the only meaningful fight he is avoiding against Guillermo Rigondeaux ….

Posted October 20, 2012 12:00 pm

I mean I “bet” you…

Posted October 20, 2012 11:59 am

big head – I be you Arce will fight scared!

Posted October 20, 2012 11:59 am

Easy does it for donaire! Arce is old and I’m guessing will be smaller! Damn what a miss match! Hoping he knocks him out sooner to show how good really donaire is!

Posted October 20, 2012 11:57 am

My prediction – Arce gets knocked out within 4 rounds… more like within 2 rounds. This is a mismatch. I hope Arce gets a lot of money.

Posted October 20, 2012 11:56 am

big head

one thing for sure atleast arce going to come to fight and bring it arce aint scared to get hit but donaire is just to skilled for him tho donaire going to bust him up real good

Posted October 20, 2012 11:48 am

Nonito wins this one!

Posted October 20, 2012 11:36 am

Exiled Yank

Arce is a true warrior, but he is past his best. I wish both fighters well, I also wish Donaire would fight someone his own age or someone who isn’t battle worn.

Posted October 20, 2012 11:16 am

Donaire is just wasting time now.

Posted October 20, 2012 10:56 am

The Kingslayer

This fight is a complete waste of time, Donaire is going to knock Arce out with ease. Honestly this is a sacrificial offering to the gods, I wish Bob Arum would retire already.

Posted October 20, 2012 10:06 am

Jorge Arce should not be in the ring with any elite fighter let alone Nonito. I just wonder how he has fooled so many people like this. He refuses to rematch any fight he thinks he may lose.

Posted October 20, 2012 9:41 am

i see Arce being stopped early in this bout.i do not believe he has much left in his tank. as a matter of fact i think it is kind of a mismatch.

Posted October 20, 2012 9:23 am

Don’t count Arce out.

Posted October 20, 2012 8:45 am

Daly jr

Good to see a top fighter fighting so regularly, and against decent oposition too. The big one ofcourse will be donaire vs rigondeaux (spelling??) , but Arce knows his way around a ring. Hopefuly arce opens up and we can actualy see nonito in a fight

Posted October 20, 2012 8:34 am

I hope Arce’s purse is substantial. Nonito is going to retire him in this fight. Nonito by KO before the seventh.
