Canelo gonna track the Cuban border jumper around ring for TEN ROUNDS before Lara slows and then gets WHACKED SAPRANO LIKE and is carried from the ring in a bloodied STRETCHER!!!Posted May 11, 2014 8:08 am
Balls in boxing indiscutibly Mexico,, but you also need to have brains,,boxing is like chest match and you need to have a attack and defense plan,,and always be two or 3 steeps up frontPosted May 11, 2014 12:01 am
Like he knocks out so many boxers of this caliber. NOT!!!Posted May 10, 2014 10:01 pm
I think canelo will win this fight with koPosted May 10, 2014 6:24 pm
Ain’t happening…Lara is gonna prove that he is the next real deal in boxing,,Cubans been waiting long enough for this ,,he just need tio keep is guard up ,,and cross him with straight left like he did to el perro and then we ‘ll see another Mexican warrior quitting the ringPosted May 10, 2014 5:35 pm

Cubans can’t be deported slimbiatch get your facts rights,,Lara will end this clown careerPosted May 10, 2014 4:33 pm
Anonymous you don’t know nothing about boxing. That’s why your Anonymous. LOL After Canelo bust him up. He’s gonna get deported.Posted May 10, 2014 4:10 pm

“Lara is gonna come up short as midget.”
You know nothing about boxing. Lara will totally dominate ginger boy. This won’t be close. Lara by wide points decision.Posted May 10, 2014 6:52 am
Lara is gonna come up short as midget.Posted May 9, 2014 9:52 pm
This bout is on regular Showtime correct? IF so July 12 is getting put on the calendar. It’s a coinflip. While I’m leaning towards Canelo I always wait until after the weigh in to officially predict when it’s a very close fight on paper.Posted May 9, 2014 8:09 pm
BS, he doesn’t want to make 154.Posted May 9, 2014 7:55 pm
Its acually a non title fight. Canelo believes that since he was the REAL jr middleweight champion and Floyd beat him. That floyd is the real champion. Lara’s belt was originally an interim and was recently moved to regular. Canelo wants no part of a chump belt.Posted May 9, 2014 6:15 pm
If I’m Lara I say, “NOPE!!! He made 152 for Floyd. He can make 154 for me.”
That could win the fight for Lara. You don’t give on that, it’s a title fight.Posted May 9, 2014 4:25 pm
“Actually, Saul’s only had one fight since he fought Floyd.’
Semantics, Tark. Canelo bought a pound for the Angulo fight now he’s asked for and been granted one for his fight with Lara. That’s twice since he fought Mayweather.Posted May 9, 2014 4:10 pm
It’s the sme reason why manny is perfect for Martinez Sergio need room inside margarito beat him inside out slugging him there, tko.
It’s PAC bead and butter fighting inside and making fighter miss, and. Beating then up. Pluss Sergio can’t take a punch, hope to see that catch weight fight as arum said could happen after the cotto and Martinez fight winner could be a matchup. Sergio trainer said they welcome that fight.
That the fight I want to see. Floyd will return to maidana and need to show he can’t box him pressure on. And maidana still has a body shot he didn’t include because he was angry and went .head hunting.Posted May 9, 2014 3:18 pm
Canelo was 15 lb over weight in the 30 day weight in, he had two lose 1-1/2 lb a day.
Lara should have seen this , as I said Floyd exposé canelo weakness.Posted May 9, 2014 3:05 pm
Hidalgo says.., “Excuse me Peej, I meant to say that Canelo has bought a pound for two fights since he fought Floyd.”
Actually, Saul’s only had one fight since he fought Floyd. He bought a pound in that fight, which means he learned a very valuable lesson. Don’t kill your body before a fight.
Now, Canelo will probably pay close attention to the weight issue this time for a lot of reasons.
He doesn’t want to look like a guy who never makes the contracted weight—and takes advantage of the fine to come in heavy. He also is not allowed to win the title if he misses the weight by an ounce. So I’m interested in seeing how he looks at the weigh-in.
If it becomes an issue he’ll say, “screw the title, let’s pay the fine again dammit” and issue apologies to the fans and Lara. That’s the last thing in the world he wants to do.Posted May 9, 2014 2:13 pm
Lara will win a very boring one sided points decision.Posted May 9, 2014 1:11 pm
I agree # TARKPosted May 9, 2014 6:36 am
Titopa.., I don’t think 2 pounds made a difference in Canelo’s performance vs Floyd — I KNOW it did.
Floyd paid a 600,000 dollar fine rather than give up 2 pounds (going from 146 to 144) vs Marquez… Canelo paid a major fine for being allowed to weigh one (1) pound too many (155 rather than 154) versus Angulo.
Canelo learned a valuable lesson and took a cue from Floyd. You never learn how much it will hurt you until you push past that line to take just a few more ounces off — and suffer the consequences. When your body says “you’re KILLING me” get out of that sauna and pay up.Posted May 9, 2014 4:55 am
Canelo wins by knockout. Maybe a little bit of a brawl while it last but Canelo takes it.Posted May 9, 2014 4:52 am
Lara will fracture canelos ocular cavity like he did to ángulo,,is cuban time!!Posted May 9, 2014 1:07 am
Hildalg0 if Cotto changed his tune then he is lying about something. As far as Canelo and the weight issue, until he comes out and says something different I am going with what he said. I am not gonna make excuses for someone who is not making excuses for himself. Seems like every time someone loses to Floyd or Pac there is some issue with it. The only weight drained fighters I know that fought were Oscar which was his own fault and Margacheato which I could really care less about because he is a cheater.Posted May 8, 2014 11:33 pm

I like Canelo and I’ve always said that he will rule one day after Mayweather retires… He learns from each fight and is getter better in each fight I watch, .. the future will be him and Maidana fighting for the title…he’s gonna be a very wealthy man … Boxingdictionary.com “The Language of the Ring “Posted May 8, 2014 6:26 pm
Mayweather didn’t even hurt canelo so not sure how he is going to do a mayweather and drop him along the wayPosted May 8, 2014 6:12 pm
Lara gona do a Mayweather on Canelo!!! whoop him all night and dropping him along the way……..Posted May 8, 2014 5:15 pm
I’m taking Lara in this fight. I never really bought in to Canelo. He gets hit too easily, he’s flat footed, and one dimensional. I’ll admit that he’s got a hard punch, but not much else.Posted May 8, 2014 5:11 pm
Let’s be clear about one thing… Angulo was NOT beating Lara… Lara got hit by left hooks and dropped, but he wasn’t hurt… He beat the trash out of Angulo and stopped him earlier than Canelo did.
Lara didn’t fight such a great fight given the knockdowns… But he handled adversity and came back — and fought a masterful fight in his next outting… The thing is to come back and win when things go wrong… and to get better and better.Posted May 8, 2014 4:40 pm
do any of these modern prima donnas fight at thier real weight.Posted May 8, 2014 1:13 pm
Those are MY disciples picks down below. Now here’s MINE. Lara by School HOUSE decision.Posted May 8, 2014 12:53 pm
Jb221 – Thurman fights at 147, winner needs to fight someone at 154 or 160 not 147.Posted May 8, 2014 12:18 pm
TARK – So, you honestly think 2lbs would’ve increased Canelo’s chances of beating Floyd? Because from the looks of it, Canelo could’ve weighed in at 160 and it wouldn’t have made a difference, it’s not like Canelo got physical and simply didn’t have the strength, he tried boxing with Floyd and was taken to school.Posted May 8, 2014 12:17 pm
Lara will beat Alvarez; and just you all watch…Mayweather will not come anywhere near him!!Posted May 8, 2014 11:13 am
Meant Hatton = collazoPosted May 8, 2014 10:49 am
Kahn by LATE tko? You should take a reading class because that was clearly one of my MANY disciples. You should know the GREATEST would NEVER make that pick due to the fact that the Mosley and Colazzo did not stop the guy!!!Posted May 8, 2014 10:48 am
The GOAT of boxing did not take the GOAT of fight prophets advice. If he chose to stick and move more and hit Maidaina with more open CLEAN shots he would have got the Agonizing TKO just as I predicted!!!Posted May 8, 2014 10:44 am
CANELO wins by CUBAN CRUSHING late stoppage!! I am the GREATEST fight prophet EVER born!!!Posted May 8, 2014 9:24 am
Canelo looked a lot better against Angulo but Lara looked a lot better against Trout. Probably 60:40 in favour of Canelo good fight thoPosted May 8, 2014 8:41 am
Canelo dominated Angulo, Lara was getting beat by a slow Angulo. Canelo by late KO, an oh yeah l already got my tickets, hope the undercard is the usual solid GoldenBoy card.Posted May 8, 2014 6:33 am
I like Canelo by stoppage in this bout , however I will not order this one. I will try to catch a replay some where. Lara’s style is not very appealing to watch in my opinion.Posted May 8, 2014 6:30 am
147 to 154 not to much of a diffrence
turbo hamster on tequila
I am going with Lara. Peej is picking canelo and he is always wrongPosted May 8, 2014 3:16 am
Thurman isn’t going to fight Lara… Too many fights for him at 147… loyd has been World Champion 3 X at 154… Floyd has no excuse not to fight Lara… But he’ll find one if Lara punches Canelo’s lights out.Posted May 8, 2014 3:01 am
They are to big for Thurman. Heck I think Thurman only weight 144 or 145 his last fight.Posted May 8, 2014 1:40 am
Good fight 50-50 fight winner should fight keith thurman then mayweatherPosted May 8, 2014 1:17 am
I have no issues with catchweight fights. That is how certain fights are going to get made.Posted May 8, 2014 12:06 am
Yall can agree all you want. Fact is Canelo himself said the weight had no effect on his performance. His team said the same thing. It would be one thing if Canelo said yeah I had a little problem making the weight. But the fact that he only weight a pound over that when he fought Trout and then the fact that he said he didn’t have any issues. Well it makes me believe that he didn’t have any issues.Posted May 8, 2014 12:06 am
I don’t get this catchweight crap from any fighter. If you have a belt at 154 defend the belt at that weight, if not step down and get the f*** out of the way. Its plain and simple. Mayweather and pacman are the best at it and now canelo is learning.
Boy I hate that shi*Posted May 7, 2014 11:46 pm
Also stating that overrated Williams had weight issues against Quintana. It is a fact that Williams had trouble with all left handed boxers.Posted May 7, 2014 11:12 pm
People should stop with the weight stuff with Canelo. He clearly said he was not affected by the weight. I like the way people try to make excuses for him when he is not making any at all.Posted May 7, 2014 11:10 pm
good match let’s see who out wits.
This is going to be a great fight. Canelo was weight drained for Mayweather so the fight was a disappointment — much like Paul Williams in his first fight with Carlos Quintana, in which he took a drubbing — but KTFO of Quintana very quickly in the rematch, when he executed the weight making process much better. That’s the key to this fight too, so we’ll know at the weigh-in how they look… I believe Saul is looking to challenge Martinez at 160 next.
You can’t really pick a winner until they weigh-in — but if Lara brings the same A game he brought against Trout, where he looked brilliant, he’ll win.Posted May 7, 2014 10:31 pm
Canelo by late stoppagePosted May 7, 2014 10:14 pm
