Maidana by tko. Here we go, moneys shoulder roll is to take a little off the straight right hand. Maidanas right hand is not straight at all and is clubbing, look at where the right hands landed on broiner, right by the eye and temple. that right hand landed at will, all night. Also the roll exposes moneys rightside of the body, every right handed fighter is taught to throw a double left hook. A dbl left hook will not work on money. In maidanas awkwardness he throws that right to the body under Floyd’s left elbow All day and the clubbing right hand up top similar to marquezs ko over pac man. Maidanas awkwardness and floyds age and trying to buy the clippers will be his downside. Its over! History will be made. Vamanos chino!

William my friend, go to the Ped Mess at and see what you think. Thomas Hauser is a very, very respected boxing writer. He actually returned an email i sent him. Some rumors are true especially the ones that can be corroborated by highly respected people that have proven themselves for over 40 years. If anyone is guilty, I would say without a doubt it would be Floyd Mayweather. Just look at his stable of fighters over the last few years. How many have failed tests?

Posted May 1, 2014 12:02 am

I’m a Hispanic and I never miss any Marquez or Pacquiao fight no matter the cost because they stimulate our excitement. I bought the Canelo/May weather PPV I regretted so much it’s so boring I wish the 2 will just dropped dead that night.Never will I again buy any PPV from May weather fights unless against Pacquiao .

Posted April 30, 2014 5:43 pm

I am not going against what you are saying about Atlas but it was cause for concern when Pac refused additional testing. I didn’t even understand why. I would think the right thing to do is to take it and smile at Floyd’s reaction when it comes back negative for PED use.

The whole thing was bothersome.

I realize the odds that Pro Athletes can be on something but damn, it is still sad when things like this sound the alarms.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:59 pm

At the same time, Pac refused additional testing while Floyd has not. And “Rumors” are just that, “rumors.”

Let me define the word “rumor” for you:

noun \ˈrü-mər\

: information or a story that is passed from person to person but has not been proven to be true
Full Definition of RUMOR
: talk or opinion widely disseminated with no discernible source
: a statement or report current without known authority for its truth

Teddy Atlas needs to be publicly flogged for 10 months for his disparaging, defaming comments about the great Manny Pacquiao on ESPN’s First take. Atlas has been one to continually criticize the living legend, Manny Pacquiao. He reminds me of another brain damaged commentator and wannabe boxer Paulie Malignaggi. These two guys have such jealousy and envy for Manny Pacquiao, but neither has ever had any type of relationship with him. Stephen A. Smith can be added to this list of Manny haters. These guys have a platform to speak on a sport or sports without being bias. Manny Pacquiao has never failed a drug test of any kind, nor has there ever been rumors that he has failed one unlike Floyd Mayweather (3 failed tests). Just look at the TMT fighters that keep failing over and over. Manny Pacquiao is a good guy in boxing that is always a target because he is a decent, honest, sincere, humble, caring, giving role model to the millions of children, youth, teens and families all over the world. Teddy Atlas should know better than to attack many Pacquiao without a scintilla of evidence. This is the same Teddy Atlas that was a thug and ran around causing trouble and getting into trouble in his youth. This is the same guy that spent time at Rikers Island for criminal activities. Teddy Atlas comes from a good family. His father was a doctor. He has a great job commentating on the greatest sport in the world. I’m not sure why Teddy continually tries to blast Manny Pacquiao every time he gets the chance. Manny has done nothing to him in any way shape or form. I will be writing a strongly written letter to ESPN and ask for them to terminate Teddy Atlas position, and request a written letter of apology to Manny Pacquiao, his family, fans and myself personally. Teddy Atlas goes around to various universities and gives motivational speeches. He is respected by many, but to me he has tarnished any good that he has done by continually talking shots at the greatest fighter of all time without cause. In 2000, Teddy Atlas received the NFL Helping Hands Award for his charity work, which is admirable. I hope he uses one of those hands and slaps himself a few times for trying to degrade Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao is a saint among the devils in the boxing world. He treats all people with respect regardless of what they say about him. This is a man that we should look up to. A man that harbors no bad will towards others. Manny Pacquiao is a man that takes care of his family, his friends and a country. Manny Pacquiao is a congressman above reproach. He is the voice of those that have no voice. Manny Pacquiao is a special treasure that came on to the boxing world as a 15 year old. His boxing skills need no description. His character as a human being is unquestionable. The question for Teddy Atlas remains. Why do you hate Manny Pacquiao so much? The world loves Manny, trust me on this. Manny is the best.

Arum is fixing the fights at the Top Rank end… Thats why fighters are leaving him… They’re all sick and tired of doing the round robin… Plus the fact that arum wants to keep each and everyone for good! Some fighters like pac may be pretending to be ignorant about this… If pac can’t be swayed then arum can found at the ear of the other combatant whispering hidden treasures…
Posted April 30, 2014 11:57 am

All fights are fixed then. Stop watching boxing.

Fighters are leaving him because someone outed him that he doesn’t open his books and fighters are getting ripped off. Arum prefers to keep things under his banner which limits fights and fighters are tired of it.

Damn Man, I would hope none of the top guys are on anything unless they are all doing it then fair game.

I think fans are generally worn down by all this PED talk because we know what the past has told us with modern athletes and their willingness to take PEDs.

Now there is a debate about the use of certain anabolic for the use of medicine and that is one thing but with sports and the agreement that it is against the rules, it should be followed.

It does have to suck if someone is accusing you to be on something if you are not.

Posted April 30, 2014 11:45 am

Teddy Atlas is blasting Pac for possible use of PEDs on ESPN First take right now.

isn’t it strange when he said that he wants to safeguard his health? real fighters go inside the ring with the do or die mentality… i’m not against the health and welfare of the boxers but if you think of it, he hasn’t engaged himself in toe to toe wars to be really concerned about health… the WWE has taught him that an entertainer’s health wouldn’t be compromised in a staged event… people will still watch and there’s money to be made… so why accept real challenges when we can do inhouse and stage everything… everyone wins! from the fighter to the promoter to the adviser!
Posted April 30, 2014 4:43 a

So Pac is staging all his fights as well since he is fighting in-house fighters?

Floyd just fights smart. Hit and don’t get hit. He is a pure boxer. For him to stand toe to toe would be dumb if you are a smart boxer with his ability.

Posted April 30, 2014 11:40 am

Thats the thing… The WWE is what it is… Its ok! But its not ok when Mayweather is trying to do this to boxing!

Posted April 30, 2014 11:36 am

beyond laughable.

Posted April 30, 2014 10:02 am

thurman vs mayweather would be fixed too. i’d rather see thurman vs provodnikov! pride and bragging rights will prevent fixing from happening in a bout showcasing fighters from opposing promotional outfits! do you expect GBP to sell a fight against a top rival in arum? never!!!

Posted April 30, 2014 4:54 am

i agree with your observation in the cotto match… but i’m pretty sure that it will not be the same outcome the second time around… cotto’s getting back in the picture, back then i believe that he was after the money… i believe that money was more important then than legacy… now that his career is winding down he needs a great win against a top fighter. if he beats mayweather in a rematch he will solidify his status among the greats…

Posted April 30, 2014 4:49 am

Kid I agree, he only picks fights that in his mind he knows he’ll win.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:47 am

Cotto also let himself be bought off for the Pacman fight too by agreeing to fry down to 145, that’s legitimate legal fixing. Cotto couldnt refuse the money to boil down knowing he was being weakened and the fight showed he was weakened.

If anything the Cotto fight was fixed, did you see some of the pitter pat punches Cotto was throwing? very not like himself.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:41 am

Id like to see him fight One Time Thurman, a fighter who I believe would give him his toughest fight yet.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:36 am

The Cotto fight wasn’t even close and doesn’t warrant a rematch, that was Floyd trying to be entertaining by deliberately getting hit more.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:34 am

Its more than likely that there is still some corruption in boxing but so has every other sport in the world, its just boxing commands a lot of attention at the highest level, it would be sad to think it exists there but it likely does, I agree Floyd’s cameo role in the WWE was a bit strange.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:31 am

KO, there are lots of viable and worthy opponents if mayweather engages in fights outside of his stable! how about a cotto rematch? how about martinez? GGG? provodnikov even… if he has so much hatred against pac why not against these other fighters? so long as mayweather keeps on fighting inhouse i will continue to question the integrity of the fight results! how come other promoters get to do business with arum? when was the last time we have seen haymon/GBP fighters engaged in a match with another promotional outfit’s fighters? how come the cotto vs martinez was made and its not even inhouse? haymon wants to control boxing and manipulate the results!!!

Posted April 30, 2014 4:31 am

what can you say about the mayweather vs ortiz match? the headbut? the kissing? the rabit punch KO? slow mo joe? were all these coincidental or an integral part of a masterplan… we americans still fall for this… why do you think the WWE still thrives even if we already know that its staged? dubious people want to steal our hard earned money, this is what floyd learned when he made a camio over at the WWE universe… no! americans are not stupid! lets stop this BS!

Posted April 30, 2014 4:22 am

Who would you deem a top opponent at 147 then? I think he’s fighting the best there is to choose from, he’d have to really challenge himself like fighting Lara at 154 before he’s got a chance of losing.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:19 am

i don’t want mayweather to lose! i want to see him display his skills with topnotch opponents and not cherry picked ones! the only time i will a buy a PPV thats involving him is if and when he decides to fight somebody who isn’t in cahoots with haymon or GBP!!!

Posted April 30, 2014 4:15 am

Lets be honest, 90% of us tune in to a Floyd fight not too see his boxing skills but to see the little mofo lose, that’s the remotely exiting part for me, the small glimmer of chance that Chino can land that one big shot and at least floor him cleanly,99.99% chance it won’t happen but I will tune in for the 0.01 chance that it does.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:11 am

haymon will try to make mayweather immortal… hahaha! watch the replay folks! let me just remind you of what happened in the mayweather vs ortiz fiasco… the acting is so hilarious! remember joe cortez’s slow mo reaction??? he was too old to make the acting seemless!

Posted April 30, 2014 4:08 am

The Molina vs Mattyeese was the best kinda fight to watch as a fan, a little less finesse than a Floyd fight but 100 times more exciting and like I always say and Molina said it too its an entertainment sport and these guys should be entertaining to us or not watched because the boring guys are there for themselves and not the fans, ie Hopkins, Mayweather, Alexander and the list goes on…

Posted April 30, 2014 4:06 am

Kid I can’t see Floyd KO’ing Chino even though Chino is made for him, if he does then you must be right, it must be scripted.

Posted April 30, 2014 4:00 am

LOL Hecdog said “Manny Pacquiao is a very loyal, forgiving, understanding, loving and caring person that is a man of his word.”

I couldn’t go beyond that part, tell that to wife Jinki when he was out banging every chick that would take it.

Posted April 30, 2014 3:55 am

maidana will come out with guns blazing then he will tire out then comes the KO win for floyd! scripted like the WWE! watch the replay to see how the theatrics unfold!

Posted April 30, 2014 3:54 am

Good honest words from Dan Goosen that fight stole the show, I was kinda surprised to see Molina wasn’t too bothered about defeat, Id like to see him fight Swift Garcia I think he would floor him too.,The Machine fought his way back magnificently though and I wonder if Garcia could do the same, Garcia a bit harder to hit though.

Posted April 30, 2014 3:49 am

the fight is rigged!!! watch the replay!

Proud African (Donald Sterling looks like a frog)

Mayweather will beat Maidana like a stray dog.

Posted April 29, 2014 10:17 pm

Maidana is a shot fighter! Floyd knows and sees it! The main reason he Cherrypicked him. Trust me he is shot!

Posted April 29, 2014 9:55 pm

I’ve always liked maidana back when he used to come in with the bald head and shades on. He has got better and better up until now at the age of 31. Even Floyd has got better at the age of 37. Floyd has really got to use his jab. Even maidana has to use his jab. I saw him use it a little in the broner fight. But against Floyd, I hope he has been training more to use his jab, Because if he hasn’t Floyd will eat him up. And it better be a quick jab or Floyd will counter it. (straight right) I have noticed in a lot of Floyd past fights that a double jab works good on Floyd. Jabs will be a factor this Saturday.

Posted April 29, 2014 7:29 pm

The legendary Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao and his beautiful wife Jinkee recently welcomed their 5th child, Israel into the world. Life continues to get better for the living legend. His spectacular performance against unbeaten Timothy Bradley left viewers in awe as Manny used his speed, boxing intellect and a variety of pin point punches throughout the fight. Boxing rises to a level of excitement that reaches the sky every time Manny Pacquiao fights. There are no other boxers today that take command of the world’s attention like Manny. Recently there were fights that involved Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter. Both guys would not be recognized outside of the boxing ring. Saturday there is a fight between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana. There’s no excitement anywhere. Real sports fans don’t have much interest. Floyd Mayweather’s routine of fighting handpicked, one dimensional or inexperienced fighters has worn thin. His me, me, me look at my money and materials and my women I can buy off has fans losing interest in his particular fights. We saw fans badgering him on the All Access show. Floyd has made a fool of himself, and the ticket sales aren’t going very well. Boxing needs Manny Pacquiao to come back soon. He is currently negotiating a possible 5 fight deal that would take him through 2016. Bob Arum is rumored to have a huge offer waiting for Manny Pacquiao. Those that are against Manny signing with Arum must know that Manny Pacquiao is a very loyal, forgiving, understanding, loving and caring person that is a man of his word. Arum has made millions of dollars for Manny Pacquiao. Could he have made more money for Manny? Yes, but Manny Pacquiao has enough money today to last him and his family a life time. Manny Pacquiao is the greatest pure fighter in boxing history. His enormous popularity comes directly from his incredible boxing ability that fans love. Manny is warrior unlike like any other warrior. The living legend has taken on the best of his era. He has no fear of any man or beast. Floyd Mayweather is a lost soul bathing in his money and materials, but he lacks the respect of his peers and the public. Everyone knows that he avoided Manny Pacquiao at all costs even going as far as getting himself locked up just to avoid the greatest fighting machine of all time. Styles make fights, and Manny Pacquiao’s style would have given Mayweather fits. Mayweather would have been knocked in rounds 10-12. Trust me on this. A legend like Manny Pacquiao that carries an entire country on his shoulders has a special ability and passion that cannot be duplicated. Manny Pacquiao beats Floyd Mayweather in all areas. Speed, power, athleticism, stamina and ring generalship favor Manny. This man is not your ordinary man. No one beats Manny Pacquiao on a one fight basis, no one. Manny is the best!

Posted April 29, 2014 7:28 pm

Well thats a testament to Floyd’s SKILL level. Because Maidana has been pretty exciting vs everyone except Alexander who holds onto you like an OCTOPUS.

Posted April 29, 2014 7:26 pm

I doubt PBF is gonna hurt his hands on Maidana. The guy isn’t like Margarito, eating punches like skittles. Maidana can be hurt, has been hurt, by far less fighters. I just can’t see this being an exciting or competitive fight. Just my opinion but I do appreciate Maidana’s heart and character.

Posted April 29, 2014 7:05 pm

Poor Maidana. He is gonna learn on May 3rd why the odds are so far apart. This fight might win biggest mismatch of the year. Easy nights work for PBF.

Posted April 29, 2014 7:01 pm

poor pacturds my friend, hold up! I’m talking about Maidana, not the legendary, only 8 division boxing champion in history, Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao tried for years to get Mayweather to fight, but each time anew demand was put out by Floyd himself. Floyd’s father and uncles all are on tape admitting that they feared for Floyd’s health as did Floyd himself. Manny Pacquiao has the speed, power, athleticism, intellect and style to beat Floyd Mayweather, and that’s the only reason Mayweather will never fight him. Sadly, Floyd Mayweather blew the chance of the biggest Mega Fight ever. Manny Pacquiao ut on a boxing exhibition never seen before when he beat Brandon Rios, another former champion. Manny Pacquiao followed that up with another brilliant boxing performance against a dynamic, young unbeaten Timothy Bradley. The world stood in awe as they witnessed perfection inside the ring by the greatest prize fighter of all time. Floyd now selects an eassssssy fight against limited opposition. Real fight fans know that this is nothing more than a sparring match, and that’s why ticket sales are crawling along at a snails pace. People are tired of Mayweather same old story of look at my money, look at my materials, look at me, me, me. Fans aren’t buying it anymore. I have looked at Mayweather’s boxing record. He lost against an old De La Hoya and lost against a tough Castillo. He was all but out against an old Mosely, and Zab Judah had him beat, but he has no heart. Now imagine a prime, ferocious, brutalizing power puncher with sizzling speed of hand and foot against Mayweather. Manny Pacquiao would wipe the floor with Mayweather no question about it. Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao and his beautful wife Jinkee on their 5th child Israel. A true blessing. Manny Pacquiao is also in negotiations with Arum for a 5 fight deal. This will have him fighting thru 2016. His tax situation is cleared, and his hard work in congress continues to do wonders for the country of the Philippines. Manny Pacquiao, the Fighter of The Decade, yes the same decade Floyd Mayweather was in. Manny, the world’s most beloved athlete will once again enter the ring against another tough boxer. Manny fights the best that’s why people love him. He’s a fighter that has the respect of the world, especially his own peers. Floyd has only his money and fame and a title that say’s I avoided the great Manny Pacquiao. Trust me on this. manny is the best.

Posted April 29, 2014 6:48 pm

poor pacturds

Hedog Manny has no chance of winning either he looked like sht against Bradley since he got dropped by Marquez no one has challenged him. Manny has getting beat until Tim ran out of gas and Rios oh my pure garbage. No one can beat Floyd and you haters need to face it. This will be another 40+ million dollar sparring session at least Marcos is not afraid of needles and not being led around by some sadistic Jew. Marcos won 4 in a row Manny hasnt.

Posted April 29, 2014 6:07 pm

KC how the hell do you know what God approves of, I have read the bible front to back and boxing is not in it or God saying boxing is a sin. Floyd has God given talent though and there is nothing wrong with that…

Posted April 29, 2014 6:01 pm

Marcos Maidana, the valiant warrior has ZERO chance of winning. Take a realistic look at his skills, and you’ll see why. I’m pulling for a catastrophic upset, but it’s not going top happen. Maidana has bad feet, no defense, horrible wild round and looping punches, and has no technical boxing skills. Mayweather jumped right on Maidana after he beat Broner. He knows just how easy this fight will be in terms of boxing skills. Maidana offers a good chin, good power and a fighting spirit. That’s all! Mayweather is going to pick him apart 12 rounds to 0 or I think he will stop Maidana in the later rounds. Yes, a fighter with Maidana’s style can only take so many punches before he begins to fall apart. He will realize that he has the will to win, but he lacks boxing ability, and that will be his downfall. I’m pulling for a miracle upset because Maidana is a class act and a very humble person. He deserves a big pay day and a miracle win. I’m at the sports bar watching this one. I’m not paying a dime nor should you.

Posted April 29, 2014 6:00 pm

May God bless him to retire undefeated?? God has nothing to do with sports. Do you think god approves of two guys getting in the ring trying to kill each other? God disapproves of such things.

Posted April 29, 2014 5:43 pm

Floyd has won all his fights when his hands were hurting. I hope they don’t bother him at all. May God bless him to retire undefeated. And I’m not going to say maidana doesn’t have a chance because I’m not the voo doo jinxing type. Maidana has a chance. More than Pacquiao. 35 wins, 3 close loses, and 31 knockouts. NEVER BEEN STOPPED! Floyd is smart enough to not take this Argentinean lightly. You should be excited about this fight if your a true fan.

Posted April 29, 2014 4:19 pm

Hanging your hope on Floyd picking an injury is laughable because you guys know Maidana stands very slim chance to no chance at all.

Posted April 29, 2014 3:49 pm

Yeah and maidana is the type of fighter that if you hurt him or hump on him that makes him mad and he will get you back. Lol! I don’t think he is a bit afraid of Floyd either. Dude is coming, like a bull, a put bull, a elephant, a crocodile, a force. You name it he’s coming. I can’t wait to see if Floyd hands will last long enough on maidanas head. Lol!

Posted April 29, 2014 3:25 pm

Maidana is about to be BAPTIZED in Floyd’s SKILLS.

Posted April 29, 2014 2:07 pm

Floyd all the way maidana will lose gas

Posted April 29, 2014 2:02 pm

any fighter that can punch and not afraid is always a risk, so far most fighters that have fought Mayweather have tried to outbox him and back off the minutes he counterpucnes them (not a good idea) Maidana knows his limitations and what he has to do and even if he does lose he’ll make an all out effort.

Posted April 29, 2014 1:29 pm

Posted April 29, 2014 12:52 pm
