Stevenson is one ugly f ucker.Posted March 30, 2014 6:44 am
All Stevenson has is a right jab straight left.kovalev will kill Stevenson and they both know it.hbo will make it a ppm for the 2 to fight.according to h Bo Stevenson wants winner of Hopkins and shumenov.we shall see.Posted March 30, 2014 2:29 am
HBO offered a multi-fight, multi-million dollar deal to Stevenson. Instead he took a one-fight deal with Showtime which offered more money for the Fonfara bout only. So he didn’t get more money, he didn’t get longterm financial security, but he did get out of HBO’s mandate to fight Kovalev. Anyone who claims otherwise has their mouth wrapped around Stevenson’s shriveled up ballsack.Posted March 30, 2014 2:08 am
It’s a one-fight deal and Ellerbe got him a payday bigger than HBO were offering.
It was smart business move.
Stevenson’s rec isn’t up for debate against Kovalev’s.Posted March 29, 2014 8:30 pm
NEVER !!! have i ever seen such a cowardly act by a fighter . Stevenson is beyond cowardice ,,he flat out ran !!! and to top it off Stevenson has great skills to probably win his fight against Kovalev ,, Other fighter’s avoid certain fighter’s but at least they hide it ..Not Stevenson he Literally ran for his life ..Posted March 29, 2014 7:46 pm
i think it is unanimous that everyone thinks stevenson is ducking kovalev. if everyone votes with there feet and not watch stevenson then he’ll have to fight kovalev. Fan opinion is why mayweather is not fighting khan – why cant the same being done here!!! but shame on stevenson clearly ducking kovalev and he can say all he likes about it being money but he would earn a lot more from a 2 fight deal vs kovalev!!Posted March 29, 2014 2:51 pm
The Facts !
Mayweather and Stevenson ,both of them so bluntly and openly avoided their biggest threats .. Other past champions have try and avoided other fighter’s but not like these two guys i mention . Jack Dempsey avoided Harry Wills ,,, Rocky Marciano avoided several threats ,but it was more to do with their managers of being scare . Rodolfo Gonzalez was terrify of Roberto Duran . Both Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard try to avoid Marvin Hagler ,but the money was to big ,, for him to be avoided .. Mike Tyson was scare of both Holyfield and Lennox Lewis and was force to fight them and look what happen ,,he had a reason to avoid them . But he did fight them .Posted March 29, 2014 1:59 pm
Adonis ( Super Duck ) Stevenson . How can he even live with him self ..has any body seen a more scare fighter then this guy .Posted March 29, 2014 1:40 pm
I can’t believe how Bluntly “Adonis Stevenson ” ran from “Kovalev ” this was so obvious that it’s embarrassing . And i was picking Stevenson to beat Kovalev if they ever fought . There has been past champions that ducked other fighter’s ..But i have never seen something like this and so obvious that it’s not even funny . I think ” Floyd Mayweather ” set the example for other fighters on how to avoid a threatening fighter .Posted March 29, 2014 1:36 pm
I would love to see Ward more up and face Stevenson that would be huge.Posted March 29, 2014 12:49 pm
Stevenson is scared of Kovalev. SHAME!!!Posted March 29, 2014 9:43 am
I’d rather see Stevenson-Kovalev over Stevenson-Hopkins any day. Just another reason why boxing sucks.Posted March 29, 2014 7:59 am
HBO put in time & money to build this dude up and they just let him walk away? HBO Sports President Ken Hershman should be fired. He’s not making the network better. He’s making it worse.Posted March 29, 2014 7:58 am
Yea mate only difference is Kovalev wants the fight with Stevenson and isn’t jumping ship to an entirely different broadcaster in a blatant move to avoid the fight.
Don’t know what your talking about with GGG. Are you talking about the same GGG who’s not left 160 yet, just about to go up to 168 to fight JCCjr? Are you saying he’d beat Ward/Froch/Groves? Are you saying he’s ducking Kovalev because he’s not jumping up to LHW to fight them?Posted March 29, 2014 5:12 am
Adonis superducker, what a joke you are.Posted March 28, 2014 11:08 pm
And Cedric Agnew is real stiff test for Kovalev? HaHa!
Stevenson’s last 5 and Kovalev’s last 5?
I’m still waiting?
Same people told us Khan was gonna be P4P. Now listen to them!
Golovkin beats Macklin and everyone from 154 to 168 is running from him as well. Chortle!
Freddie Roach: I have problems getting him to take vitamins, and he doesn’t like needles. I know it’s out there, and people are saying ‘why wouldn’t he take a blood test, and they think we’re hiding something. He does not react well to having blood taken. He’s weak for three days, afterwards. Some people pass out after blood being taken. Maybe it’s not physical, but it bothers him mentally. We can’t have that five days or three days out from the fight.
That’s a DUCK!

Or maybe, just maybe, I will do something productive like Read a Book, Go outside and do something with my life on Saturday Night. The odds are not in my favor given in my losing struggles but it could happen, it could.
So what time does this fight start?Posted March 28, 2014 9:50 pm
I won’t support any of his fights until he and Kov get together. Same goes for the rest. Occupy my time with something else, like porn.Posted March 28, 2014 9:46 pm
Yep I’m with the majority here , he’s going to underestimate Kovelev’s hand speed , try those wild winging shots and be looking at the lights in about. 3Posted March 28, 2014 9:23 pm
Swedish Boxing Fan
Andrezj Fonfara (25-2-0 KO’s 15) is a 26 year young and still a growing boxer. The Nr.1# contender by WBO and 3# by WBC and Fightnews 8# best Light heavyweight fighter can’t be over-looked as a simple mismatch. The guy is not the best opponent in the division but he deserves his credit for have made it to the top 3 ranks of the world title organisations and he have after all defeated former world champions Gabriel Campilo and Glen “The Road Warrior” Johnson so he deserves his credit.
We all would love to have Adonis Stevenson vs. Sergey Kovalev to happen sooner or later for a unification but that can still happen if HBO & Showtime can make a deal to make it happen as it is a fight all people want. TV aring should not be in the way for the boxing fans to see the best fights happen. Other note is that Adonis Stevenson last time asked said he was not for now interested in fighting Sergey Kovalev (!), that was dissapointing to hear.
Bernard Hopkins vs. Beibur Shumenov for the IBF/WBA/IBA world light heavyweight title unification is still the best fight to happen soonest so after that, hopfully we will have Bernard Hopkins breaking another record in boxing and be a unifed champion. He at least have spoken about interest to fight Sergey Kovalev in an other title unification match!Posted March 28, 2014 8:56 pm
Haymon is the mastermind behind many ‘ducks’ in boxing do to his massive clout. HBO & Showtime will both listen to his ideas of putting out weak match-ups if the public will still buy.Posted March 28, 2014 6:20 pm
Who honestly gives a s*** about this fight?
What Adonis has done is the biggest most blatant duck to have ever graced the sport. If ever someone was so publically scared of fighting someone it’s Adonis.
At least the likes of Cleverley and Sillakh had the balls to get in there with Kovalev and do the right thing for the sport.Posted March 28, 2014 5:54 pm
kovalev kryptonite.Posted March 28, 2014 5:24 pm
Adonis is avoiding Sergey for as long as possible, thank you very much!Posted March 28, 2014 4:54 pm
Pathetic fight… The day he fights an appropriate opponent is the day I’ll watch.
Superhero??? More like chickensh!tPosted March 28, 2014 4:52 pm
boycott that crap fight. watch it online the next day for goodness sake. do not watch it live. hit them in the pocketbook. let the numbers be a disappointment. teach showtime a lesson that you will not support this crap. stand up and say I will not be subject to this criminal behavior and watch it another time.Posted March 28, 2014 4:07 pm
Stevenson should show ‘superhero’ bravery and fight Kovalev.Posted March 28, 2014 4:01 pm
Fonfara will be a huge underdog in this fight but the has fairly fast hands and good power in either hand. An upset loss for Superman – unlikely as it might seem – is not out of the question here and the upside is it would put an abrupt end to all the pissing & moaning about how Stevenson is dodging a fight with Kovalev. For that reason alone, I’ll be pulling for the Polish guy big time.Posted March 28, 2014 4:00 pm
fight on asks: Who is Al haymon?
Al Haymon is a very shrewd and clever operator who is on a pace to become the most powerful entity in the sport. That, fight on, is who Al Haymon is and you can put that down in your daybook, friend.Posted March 28, 2014 3:48 pm
Who is Al haymon
Adonis ‘Superman’ Stevenson not ready to show superhero power against “Kryptonite” KovalevPosted March 28, 2014 3:10 pm
dirty rapist pedophile and very very ugly mug. al haymon loves guys like that. good job shadow al haymon.Posted March 28, 2014 2:35 pm
Can we change Stevenson’s nickname to Mr. Chicken? It is much more appropriate than Superman.Posted March 28, 2014 2:34 pm
