Khan will have trouble with luisPosted March 12, 2014 1:25 pm
“You didn’t like my response to one of your posts so since you don’t have an intelligent or legitimate reply you resort to insulting me like that little punk Happyboy.
You know, Tomato Can, I’ve shown you a lot of respect on these boards, but if you want to play dirty, I’m all for it.” I’m confused, are you Hildalgo or Happyboy???? In any case I didn’t have a problem with any of your posts. And if you’ve shown me respect on these boards I appreciate it. Im just messing with you because it seems like lately every time I read one of your posts they’re correcting other posters. Which is fine if that’s what your into; they just seem a bit nit picking to me. Which is why I called you a perfectionist. No disrespect meant. You bring good boxing knowledge to these boards.Posted March 9, 2014 12:40 pm
“Anonymous, don’t question Hildalgo he’s our resident subject matter perfectionist here at ESB. If you call it a KO and it was really a TKO, he’ll let you know. And he’ll probably be right.”
The reality is that there’s a big difference between being “knockedafkoutCold” and being TKOd. No perfectionism required in making that deduction.

“Khan is not a 2 division champ. ”
Khan was the WBA regular and Super World Light welterweight champion. He was also the IBF light welterweight champion.
Khan also won several lesser titles as a lightweight including the WBA International Lightweight Title, WBO Intercontinental Lightweight Title, and the Commonwealth (British) Lightweight Title.Posted March 9, 2014 9:53 am
Khan is not a 2 division champ. He’s not even a champ. He’s a chump. The only thing he’s getting if he fights another good fighter is a damned good beating X 3.Posted March 8, 2014 6:34 pm
voice of reason
how is khan a 2 weight champ? are you for real?Posted March 8, 2014 4:10 pm
khan is a two weight champ. what does that say about plastic belts. LOL.Posted March 8, 2014 2:51 pm

It appears that Khans legs go quick when he gets tagged good. His legs have turned into noodles on quite a few occasions. Still he has plenty of talent.Posted March 8, 2014 2:29 pm

Simple solution for Khan to qualify for a shot at Floyd or Bradley. Why ddoes he not call out and face the No.1 ranked contender in the WBC at 147 or WBO or the No. 1 in the IBF?
This way he will force through a fight like that whining b8tch Groves did, with Showtime Porter or have greater leverage against the big boys, Mayweather, Bradley or Pac.
In face, why not Khan face Marquez. I remeber how a few years ago Khan called out Marquez and said he would give him a real bad boy whooping.
Khan vs Marquez.
Make it happen!Posted March 8, 2014 8:31 am

Khan was KOd by Prescott and TKOd by Garcia. But he’s only been KOd once.Posted March 8, 2014 3:06 am
“Collazo has never been knockedafkoutCold Amir Khan has been KnockedafkoutCold 3 times..”
Khan has been KOd once. Just one time.Posted March 8, 2014 3:05 am
We can call Ortiz damaged goods, but Collazo should get credit for making Ortiz know he’s damaged goods, in short order.Posted March 8, 2014 2:03 am
I also think it’s safe to say Khan doesn’t want any part if Luis’s right hook…Posted March 8, 2014 2:00 am
I’m not sure who’s hyped on Collazo. I don’t believe I made any statements that reflect that. However, I would like to see Collazo get a good fight. If he can get Khan in the ring, that’s great. And actually it would be a good measuring stick for Khan at welter weight… Collazo says he’s in a better place these days in regards to taking his career seriously. Maybe he is….Posted March 8, 2014 1:56 am
“Collazo has fought much more dangerous and better quality opponents then Canelo or Chavez Jr.”
But not better than who Amir Khan has fought.Posted March 7, 2014 10:17 pm
“He wasn’t suppose to beat Ortiz, he did…”
He wasn’t supposed to beat Ortiz? You mean he wasn’t favored or expected to beat him? This is boxing. Collazo isn’t a dead horse but he’s no knight in shining armor either. Victor was at the lowest point of his career going into the fight with Collazo. All this talk about fighter’s “coming off a loss.” Ortiz was coming off devastation. Twice in a row. Then he faced Collazo.
Certainly there is a chance Collazo could beat Khan, but it’s a lot lesser chance than that of Khan beating Collazo. Don’t get too hyped up over Collazo just because he beat damaged goods Ortiz (and I don’t say that to insult Victor–it’s just a fact).Posted March 7, 2014 10:15 pm
True! largo posts through reckless emotion, many times his disrespectful approach has him posting from a bias hate-filled subjective manner. He’s many times not objective and needs to be ignored at times……he’s also a blind PACTARD!!!Posted March 7, 2014 7:36 pm
Collozo is on his last hurrah. I see nothing wrong with giving him addtional good fights, whether or not Ortiz is a fragile fighter. As long as he keeps on winning let him get good fights.Posted March 7, 2014 5:24 pm
Collazo is not a spoiler… Ortiz went down to his 3rd straight KO to Collazo… You can’t spoil what isn’t.
An old Mosley beat Collazo 119-109 on my card. That’s what the judges mostly had. Plus Luis has those losses to Berto and Hatton.
Collazo had Hatton knocked out and couldn’t finish the chinny swinger off… Of course the referee kept getting between them but LC had at least one beautiful chance to flatten Hatton … Maybe he thought the judges would be fair.Posted March 7, 2014 4:51 pm
Broner is a better fight for us, great undercard fight, win win for both guys.Posted March 7, 2014 4:48 pm
No hildalgo..Khan can’t. Outbox..possibly. smash? Give me a break. Are we talking about the guy who got beat all over the ring by Peterson or the one who had to hold on for dear life against maidana?(now refuses to go near him). Perhaps the one knocked stupid by Garcia? Or called out Broner then backed away at lightning speed. That Khan? You’ve been around here awhile man you should seriously know better. Floyd was being a punk for even mentioning
Sheriff Joe’s chicken
How about Collazo vs Thurman?Posted March 7, 2014 2:21 pm
True, I think Broner vs Khan is a better fight.Posted March 7, 2014 2:10 pm
“it’s largo, not Largo”
In writing, the first word in the sentence is started with a capital letter.
“Respect?” For what? I give respect where respect is due. I don’t owe you a thing.Posted March 7, 2014 2:09 pm
Earn it Man
Khan never had any intention of fighting Broner. Khan wants an easy route to a retirement pay day and will fight old man Collazo or feather fisted Pauline Malignaggi next, trust me. Khan won’t ever try to earn a shot at Floyd.Posted March 7, 2014 11:10 am
thats a good match up too. I wouldnt mind watching it.Posted March 7, 2014 10:34 am
He wasn’t suppose to beat Ortiz, he did and he deserves props for it in my opinion.Posted March 7, 2014 9:15 am
Collazo is making his last stand in the sport. I hope he gets some more good fights before he’s done.Posted March 7, 2014 9:14 am
I think Khan would probably beat Collazo, butbagi would u would like to see Collazo get that fight.Posted March 7, 2014 9:12 am
Personally I wouldn’t mind seeing Khan vs Collazo. Heck, I wouldn’t mind seeing Khan take on any of the top WW’s but he seems to think he can walk straight into a fight with the Money Man with 2 losses in his last 4 fights and no WW career to speak of!!Posted March 7, 2014 6:01 am
“Largo, why don’t you just change your name to “piss and moan?”…it’s largo, not Largo…& you talk when you should be listening; you’re a quantity guy-you don’t stop posting-…I’m a quality guy. If you STOP TALKING so much & LISTEN a bit more, you might learn something & become a better poster. Show some respect.Posted March 7, 2014 1:50 am
Ignorant boxing fans all hot on Collazo because he beat flakey Victor Ortiz who has been on a major downward slide in his career. Ortiz got knocked out by Floyd and had his jaw broken by Lopez. Then Collazo comes along and takes on the severely wounded bird and beats him by TKO, and now you think he’ll be Khan? Hardly.Posted March 7, 2014 1:23 am
” It was embarrassing to see him get beat by Diaz. He git the fight because he fought in the UK.”
Khan didn’t get beat by Diaz. It was a close fight but Khan won fair and square. I scored the fight 114-113 Khan. Khan won on all three of the judges’ scorecards by 1-3 points. Bernstein, Farhood and Malignaggi had Khan winning by 2-3 points.
Nobody did Khan any favors in this fight. He won it fair and square even though he got rocked a few times. But he was never close to being knocked out.
Khan would smash Collazo.Posted March 7, 2014 1:20 am
“Amir can’t smash s.h.i.t….who you’re kidding?”
Largo, why don’t you just change your name to “piss and moan?”
Khan would beat Collazo.Posted March 7, 2014 1:15 am
I thought collazo beat hatton, but hatton needed the win to box Floyd for the big $. Hatton was a 140 pounder.Posted March 7, 2014 12:39 am
Khan can’t take a shot from a weak girl…what’s the matter with you?Posted March 7, 2014 12:16 am
“Khan can’t smash anything.”
Khan is only interested in the $$………… He wont fight for anything else his set his sights on Junior ……And is now gunning for (the dangling carrot) Broner ………..Posted March 6, 2014 9:37 pm
Khan is a fight away from becoming a stepping stone. Collazo would beat him. Diaz almost took him out. It was embarrassing to see him get beat by Diaz. He git the fight because he fought in the UK.Posted March 6, 2014 9:21 pm
I don’t know Collazos work ethic in the gym, but if he increases it…..he can give the best out there serious trouble as he gives them losses to think about…..given his style & toughness, theres no reason why he shouldnt. Underrated for sure!Posted March 6, 2014 8:45 pm
Collazo is no joke! This guy is awkward as hell, giving every one he faces an “awkward” hell of a time!! I see him beating Khan, but before that, I see Khan not taking the fight. He’d rather go after Broner who lost, rather than go in ancharted territory against a crafty low key threat, the same way he avoided Alexander to get a potential payday & beatdown.
Imo, Collazo lost to Hatton. For the 1st time (since Id been aware of who Hatton was as a fighter) Hatton really impressed me in that fight…being that he kept coming forward towards Collazo – with style(without his usual excessive clinching), even though Collazo caught him with some decent shots!Posted March 6, 2014 8:36 pm
Collazo is tough, khan would do well to beat him, tough fight.Posted March 6, 2014 7:57 pm
Umm not sure ab this 1Posted March 6, 2014 7:55 pm
“Khan can’t smash anything.”
He can smash Collazo.Posted March 6, 2014 7:46 pm
GONZO OF NAZARETH
After collazo’s last perfomance, i cant see khan taking the fightPosted March 6, 2014 7:23 pm
Make this fight happen and if Khan beat Collazo then a Mayweather Jr fight can happen i guest. Collazo is a worthy guy to fight then Broner. Broner next fight is at 140 so a Khan vs Collazo fight should happen.Posted March 6, 2014 7:02 pm
Yes but James everyone was fooled when they bought into Ortiz deserving a shot at mayweather and he disposed of him like a wet nappy!Posted March 6, 2014 6:57 pm
Boxing wise it would be a good fight but its not going to happen as Collazo isnt a big enough name to propel Khan into a Floyd fight and there wouldnt be that much money for the fight either as Collazo doesnt bring much to the table, He would be better off going with Paulie again than Collazo but i think we will probably see Porter or Guerrero.Posted March 6, 2014 6:35 pm
I don’t fancy Khans chances against Collazo. He is too big and skillfull for him. I’d prefer to see him in with that twit Broner, Khan can win that one by easy KO.Posted March 6, 2014 6:23 pm
Khan v Broner is the one I wanna seePosted March 6, 2014 6:07 pm
Time is ticking away for the undercard. Floyd is in shape 24/7.
broner weighs 185 right now and is blowing all his money. broner is not fighting anytime soon. look athis twitter page to see what he is doing and how he looksPosted March 6, 2014 5:45 pm
Kahn vs Broner and Collazo vs Thurman on the under card of Mayweather vs Maidana. Winner gets each other leading up to a payday with Mayweather in 2015. Mayweather should call out the winner of Pacquiao/Bradley for a September showdown. Who needs Arum or Goldenboy, let me put the fights together. LolPosted March 6, 2014 5:34 pm
To big for khan, they’ll have nowt to do with him. Khans into fighting smaller folk thats why he’s killed himself making 140 for so long.Posted March 6, 2014 4:50 pm
Collazo vs Thurman would be an interesting matchup indeed.Posted March 6, 2014 4:35 pm
I wouldn’t mind seeing Khan vs Prescott on the undercard that would be a real burner! after all these years of I told you so from Prescott. Lol….That would be the ultimate nightmare for Khan to reach Mayweather.Posted March 6, 2014 4:34 pm
Peej your onto something. Collazo v Thurman? Good fightPosted March 6, 2014 4:29 pm
Khan can’t smash anything. The only thing that boy will ever be champion of again is getting knocked down. Give collazo the fight please.Posted March 6, 2014 4:28 pm
I think LC will out grind AK and TKO him latePosted March 6, 2014 3:53 pm
perfect fight for both unless Khan dodges a real threat!!!!!!!Posted March 6, 2014 3:01 pm
Give the man a shot.Posted March 6, 2014 2:38 pm
Everybody at WW but Broner beats Khan. Khan is bad.Posted March 6, 2014 2:10 pm
Talking about Collazo-Hatton.., “Some even say he won.”
Floyd.., “Hatton is not undefeated. Everybody says he lost to Collazo. Everybody who watched it says he lost.”Posted March 6, 2014 2:08 pm
It’s “Luis” collazo and it was a 2nd round ko. Poor journalismPosted March 6, 2014 1:54 pm
Not sure about that. I wouldn’t mind seeing the fight thoughPosted March 6, 2014 1:46 pm
Khan would smash Collazo.Posted March 6, 2014 1:32 pm
Yeah Khan won’t go near Collazo nor will he go near Thurman though I would like to see Khan vs Thurman. Don’t think he wants to fight Broner either since he has been back tracking since Broner said he would take the fight. I wouldn’t mind him fighting Porter either. He would fight Porter because Porter is not a huge puncher.Posted March 6, 2014 1:26 pm
Khan vs. Porter, Khan vs. Thurman would help the card.Posted March 6, 2014 1:08 pm
if this fight get made and placed on the card i wont be ordering.if its made it better be on regular showtime, collazo vs kahn doesnt make sense.Posted March 6, 2014 1:06 pm
Khan doesn’t want Collazo, the guy is a spoiler who is underrated. He would do exactly what Danny Garcia did to him.Posted March 6, 2014 12:57 pm
If i was Mayweather I would have a huge ego too. Not only does he carry the sport, but every boxer wants to be apart of anything with Mayweather’s name attached.Posted March 6, 2014 12:20 pm
