Manny Pacquiao rattled the boxing world with a few comments directed at Floyd Mayweather. They landed harder than the left hand that dropped Ricky Hatton. Many fans continue to underestimate Manny Pacquiao. He is a a respectful, warm and caring person, but when another boxer continues to disrespect Manny over and over, Manny has a limit. He unleashed a verbal assault that shocked everyone. Fans all over the boxing world opened up their computers and hit the social websites voicing their approval. The quite fighter that Manny Pacquiao is outside the ring came out with one word. The word that Floyd carries on his forehead is branded for good until he fights Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao has fire in his veins. One must understand where he comes from and what life’s experiences have instilled inside of him. Manny started his professional boxing career at the age of 16. He left his birth place of General Santos City to Manila at age 14. He lived on the streets, under bridges and earned $2 for back alley fights he engaged in in order to survive an bring money to his mother. Manny comes from a third world country where poverty is a way of life. Manny has known a poverty and hopelessness that the ordinary person will never experience. These experiences change the way life is looked at. Fear has no grasp on a man that knows poverty. Adding to Manny’s tough life and horrible memories is the incident involving his own father. Pacquiao’s father left the family while Manny was still in early childhood. He returned one day long enough to eat Manny’s dog then vanished. As his life continued in Manila, Manny sold bread and doughnuts on the streets. He had to do what it took in order to help his mother. Manny Pacquiao has come a long way. A life he could only dream of came to reality because of boxing. Manny had no education, no great boxing trainers, no amateur boxing experience. Basically he was on his own. In the beginning he was doubted by his own country, friends and family. He never quit. He never gave up. And today, he is considered one of the greatest fighters of all time. He has made a bunch of money, has all the fame he needs, and is still the same person he’s always been. He has had his tough times losing to Marquez and going through his tax situation. Still, he has no fear. He hears Floyd Mayweather taunting him and trying to ridicule him. Manny finally says enough. Floyd Mayweather you are a coward. Come and fight me. Mayweather hasn’t been heard from since. No one should underestimate a man that has lived a life like Manny Pacquiao. This is a special kind of man that has no fear. Life beat him up enough as a child, now he wants to fight. Floyd, make the fight. Manny is the best.

Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao, the ONLY 8 division Boxing Champion in History has shaken up Floyd fan by calling their man a COWARD. The Filipino fire ball standing 5ft 6 inches has came out firing to once and for all shut Floyd Mayweather up. The Fighter Of The Decade said what the sports world has been saying for years. Floyd is a COWARD. He may have a tarnished and tainted unbeaten record, but it’s just that, tarnished and tainted. Manny Pacquiao never has needed Mayweather. Mayweather desperately needs Manny Pacquiao. He will forever be remembered as the guy that ran from the little guy. What’s most humiliating is that former great fighters like Leonard, Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Holmes, Chavez have all questioned Mayweather as a champion because they clearly see Mayweather unwilling to fight the legendary Manny Pacquiao. Yes, the same Manny Pacquiao that destroyed great boxing Hall Of Famers like Morales, Barrera, Cotto, Mosely, De La Hoya, Margarito, Marquez, Diaz and others. Manny, a fighting machine tormented through 8 different divisions in a manner never seen before. The entertainment world, political world and the sports world watched his dominate his opponents in way way a lion devours it’ prey. Today, Manny Pacquiao dissected and destroyed another former champion in Brandon Rios. He systematically and purposely displayed one of the most graceful boxing exhibitions ever seen before. Yes, the same destructive hurricane that brutalized his opponents displayed another part of his arsenal as he overwhelmed Brand Rios with the eloquent movement of an eagle as it soars through the sky. Beauty inside the ring. Today, Manny has grown tired of chasing the man he called a coward, Floyd Mayweather. For years he has been running and full of excuses. Mayweather has a well know reputation of avoiding all the tough chalengers (Mosely in prime, Kostya Tyzu, Margarito, Pacquiao & De La Hoya in his prime). Floyd has been running his mouth and making disrespectful comments about the great Manny Pacquiao. Today, Manny turned the tables on Mayweather. He straight out challenged him and called him a COWARD. Mayweather responded not. The truth is the truth. Boxing fans are no longer wanting to hear Floyd’s excuses. They’re tired of him talking. They want him to shut up and fight. Manny Pacquiao is a wonderful, peaceful, caring, giving, helping, understanding admirable man that never speaks any foul language. He shows true respect to all and is a sportsman inside the ring and gentlemen outside the ring, but today enough was enough. He through a punch that Mayweather and his fans will never recover from. The world is still talking about what Manny said. They love Manny because their is nothing to dislike about Manny Pacquiao. One thing no one should ever do is what Floyd did today. He upset Manny Pacquiao. Manny’s wrath is on Mayweather. I feel for him. Manny is going to hurt him one day. Trust me. Don’t ever piss off Manny Pacquiao, never.

Can they atleast come together in a sparring session so we can get some idea how the real thing may go. Floyd wont mind as head guard and 18oz gloves will be used to take the sting out of pacs punches.

The only way anyone gets floyd in the ring with pac… is they lie and tell floyd its someone else.

Maybe they can drag floyd kicking and clawing and screaming into the ring.

Maybe knock him out with nitric oxide at the dentists then carry him in the ring , sit him on the stool then wake him up ?

I cant think of any other way.

The congress man is desperate. A victory against Floyd will mean a ticket to the presidency and even the moon!
He saw the Broner Maidana fight and thinks that he can make it a repeat. He is jubilant that his signature aggressive style will result in a victory. But he doesn’t understand… that Broner was a fraud… still, he fails to realize… he is messing with a giant of old: A mighty pugilist before the gods.

LOL!!!!!Manny called Floyd a COWARD, ha ha ha! Don’t anger Manny Pacquiao. Floyd will never fight the legendary Manny Pacquiao now that he’s pissed off. Floyd is looking for a place to hide. The legendary, Iconic, living legend, philanthropist, singer, actor, congressman just called Floyd a coward. Now what Floyd? Will you still continue to run from arguably the greatest fighter of all time after such a comment. The tables sure turned and probably has Floyd fans looking for cover as their fighter just got caught from a shot he didn’t see coming. Honestly, this is hilarious to me. Manny is such a good human being, but he’s human, and a man can only take so much from a big mouth that continually runs his mouth. And all of boxing including the all time great fighters are commenting already saying Floyd better fight him now. Manny is the best. What’s your response Floyd Mayweather fans. Don’t piss Manny off, ever.

Posted January 10, 2014 3:13 pm

Gman- what the heck man. Floyd is rich and good in boxing so does Manny…. both of them will be HOF, the main issue here is they need to fight for they are on the same time era. It’s not about money or promoters or cable network…it’s all about finding out who better inside the ring.

HappyBoy. Do you honestly think that for every FMW nuthugger there isn’t a FMW hater? Do you honestly think that all the fans watching a FMW fight are there to see either FMW win, or are strictly fans of his opponent? I perhaps should not have used the word “fact” that a *good number* are paying to see him lose, but there definitively is *a number* of people paying to see him lose. To debate that would just be idiotic. I then in brackets said “maybe 40% to 60%” which was not intended as a fact but more of my opinion on what that number might be based on the many years of watching boxing, attending many venues and being in a very big circle of boxing fans (which is coincidentally pretty much split down the middle as to why they watch FMW fights – to see him lose, or to see him win.

Either way, only time will tell if I’m right.

I disagree… Him mixing it up with Cotto showed a different side of him in years. With that fighting style, he opens himself up which leads to ‘some’ excitement…. which lead to the public’s idea that a younger stronger Canelo had a chance. By humiliating Canelo and not at least playing possum here and there made many fans think that’s it… He can’t lose. I for one never gave Canelo a true shot, but that one sided sparring match I was not expecting.

Posted January 10, 2014 1:13 pm

The biggest problem with FMW and his future PPV numbers is that he is too good. Follow me here for a second. Nobody questions the fact that a good number of boxing fans (maybe between 40% to 60%) on any given FWM fight are paying for the fight to see him lose. The credibility of his first possible loss is a major driving factor in PPV buys. Once you eliminate any perceived threat outside of the proverbial ‘puncher’s chance’, you will lose many buys (notwithstanding the buys for his opponent regardless)

His last display/clinic over The Ghost and Canelo were so one sided, that for 24 rounds nobody felt he was in danger. He’s just too good. I feel that you will soon see that his dominance will be his $$ downfall in the next 4 fights without Pac in the mix. I, that have been buying PPV fights ever since its’ inception, will not pay for FMW vs Khan… Not a chance. Not for Bradley, Garcia or even Provodnikov. Maybe for Chino, but that’s for the story factor (“big brother” teaches “little brother” how it’s done).

I’m sorry, I think Roach is right. As much as I would like to see that sum bag Arum out of boxing and Manny’s career, I think they just need to hold fast until Showtime realizes there is no more milk in the cow’s boob and to get any RIO for signing FMW, they will have to force the Pacquiao issue.

Only time will tell.

Mayweather will not fight Pacquiao if we talk about big payday. He didn’t give Oscar a rematch that could generate enormous amount of money. And he is not for his legacy either because if he wants to prove he is better than Dela Hoya he should have given him the rematch. Unless he is guaranteed 100 million for the Pacquiao fight. That is still maybe.

Posted January 10, 2014 12:01 pm

Pac could lose 5 fights, lose twice in a six month period, get Knocked out repeatedly and still be talked up to fight Floyd over the much more deserving Tim Bradley…Oh wait, all that has and is going on…. It’s Bradley People Tim Bradley!!!

Please look at the reality of this game nobody tell the greatest fighter and the wealthest fighter who ever live fact look it up what to do. If any of these people ever played any other sport her is the reality. IsiAH Tomas being compare to John Stockton. Stockton as was great great HOF but never ever ever was he the player Zeke was never never Zeke was tooooo skilled. Now this is PAc and Mayweather tooooooo skilled. Now if you have a problem about why certain type of people always dominated in sports than that your problem. MAyweather and Showtime made a choice of wanting to be the best. At the end of the day showtime money 250 mill was put on the table. Mayweather skills was put in the ring. Now who do you think is winning who do you think showtime is banking on Roach/Pac or Mayweather. I hope he never fights Pac because Arum did something foul and a man never forgets. Who is more sucessful now Arum or Golden Boy who name is being shouted out Arum or Al Haymond… who does all the great people work with MAyweather. Please understand history of boxing before being or writing stupid stuff. if Mayweater leaves this game with 400 mill dollars he will be and is the wealthest fighter who ever lace up gloves. and guess what TBE

Who cares who fought more back in the day. They also used to fight back to back months also. But for someone who has only fought 49 times in 20 years he sure will make more money than any boxer and that includes fighters that fought a hundred more times.

“His first loss might be his last fight, but after his contract with Sho Time he’ll be 49-0. They’ll be big money to see him beating Marciano’s record, but watch out! He might continue to break records and make history.”

20-year professional career and he will have only fought 49 times? BFD. Marciano had the same number of fights but fought as a pro for only 8 years.

Marciano also had 43 KOs in 49 fights whereas Floyd won’t even break 30 KOs by the time he’s fought his 49th fight.

Mayweather has options such as Tim Bradley, Keith Thurman, Danny Garcia, Maidana and even Provodnikov. Martinez is more than willing to boil down to fight him. Doubt that Mayweather will fight Pacquiao unless he decides to do that in his last fight with Showtime. It’s looking like he will fight anybody but Pacquiao. He doesn’t have to because he’s undefeated champion, so he has that privilege and deserves to have the upper hand in decision making. Not good for boxing fans but good for Mayweather to have that kind of power in his career as #1 boxer.

King SKILZ will eventually fight Pacquiao – its a no-brainer. But Mayweather doesnt have to JUMP at the insistence of Arum, Roach & PacROID!! They DO NOT RUN the SHOW!! Mayweather GAVE Pac* TWO HUGE chances to PROVE himself – “Team”-PUNKquiao said NO!!!!!! Because Pac* happens to be “quiet” doesnt mean he was fair and appreciative of the offer. King SKILZ is more OUTSPOKEN, but that doesnt mean he wasnt fair!!! PUNK-PAC* will SUFFER a bit due to his puppet-like following of Arum & the crew…..Punk-Pac* “IS” RESPONSIBLE for HIMSELF….lets see how does against Bradley, Prov, & Mathysse……Pac* shouldnt get a FREE ride just because he doesnt have command of the english language – staying punkified silent – being LED by a crew thats savvy to making multi-million dollar deals – DOES NOT make Team-Mayweather UNFAIR!!! DRUG-Pac PUT himself in this position; “IF” he loses to any of these guys iv mensioned – he BLEW his chance for the SUPERFIGHT!!! Being quiet doesnt make you HUMBLE or “GOOD”! It just means youre QUIET by nature, and susceptible to turning into a PUPPET!!!

Posted January 10, 2014 12:15 am

Performance wise, Pacquiao is closer to the end of his career than Mayweather. I think that Roach knows with the loses to Bradley and Marquez in the IVth fight, that they can no longer safely hand pick opponents for Pacquiao. It might be Mayweather last opportunity to cash in on the sensation of Pacquiao before he is beaten again by less hyped opposition.

Posted January 10, 2014 12:13 am

If Floyd fights Pacquiao and brings in 3M PPV buys, was it Floyd? So why is Floyd responsible for the 2.1M buys when Canelo, Garcia and Matthsse were on the card? Floyd is procrastinating the inevitable because it will be his LAST fight! And not by choice! There will be a lot of intent in that straight left!

Posted January 10, 2014 12:02 am

Roach said that we have agreed to all blood testing now, so there should be no excuse now. We’ll well well, , BUT I THOUGHT YOU GUYS ALREADY AGREED TO ALL OF THE BLOOD TESTING 2 YEARS AGO??. Bob got on ESPN lying tell everyone that they have agreed to all blood testing. Busted I don’t need no more evidence. 2 years ago Pac was using PEDS. That’s why we had all of the different excuses. End of story. Pac is garbage to me now. And he has the nerve to test Rios. I guess when his main PEDS supplier was working for the other side, he had to test Rios. Lol

As long as Floyd keeps his revenue commitment to Showtime–whatever amount it may be–Showtime won’t force him to do anything. But if he has another weak PPV event like he did with Guerrero, Showtime might start twisting his arm.
