What ever happened to the 4 year plan after the Olympics? Price and Wilder are moving at a snail’s pace, albeit Price a tad faster than Wilder.

Price needs to get a move on. He is nearly 30 and has not fought anyone.

Fury talks himself into crucifiction…. and his ducking hasn’t helped him. If you raise expectations and then fail to meet them, crucifiction is to be expected.

Lol love it how all these bums are acceptable for Price but if it was Fury fighting Harrison and Skelton next you all would be crucifying him

The point of fighting Skelton is that it would add another notch on the Lonsdale belt, which DP has said he wants out-right.

Then again, he does need to get past Harrison first of course, which he should considering how Audley has fought recently.

Grant would be a much better choice then Skelton. David looks good and has proven he can take out the 3rd tier guys. Now it’s time to test the 2nd tier and Grant would be an excellent test. He’s big, strong, but also past his prime. The only thing we don’t know about Price is if he can take a punch. At some point he and his staff are going to have to see if he can take it. Grant can punch, but at 40 may not be able to follow up if he got Price in trouble, like he would if he was 30. Boxing is about risk, and it’s time for David to risk a little. I wish him great success.

Fields has never been any good and Botha has been over the hill for ten years

He’s moving at a snails pace—it’s been four years! Skelton? Grant?

It seems Price is looking for experience. Grant is 40, and Skelton is 45. Not a bad idea, considering David has only 13 bouts on his resume. It’s also good to see that at 29, he’s fighting more frequently. It’s time Price moved on from the whole Fury scenario anyway. They probably won’t meet until 2014, and Fury has lost some momentum by not fighting enough lately. However, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Fury fighting Botha on the Feb. South African card.

If Price has an easy night with Harrison in October, then I see no reason why he can’t fight Skelton in December. Has for the South African card I’d sooner see him defend the Commonwealth title against Frans Botha than face Grant at this stage in his career. While I’m at it, how about George Groves defending his Commonwealth title against IBO bangle holder Thomas Oothuizen :?:

If Price has an easy night with Harrison, then he should be able to fight Skelton in December. I’d personally rather see him defend the commonwealth title against Frans Botha in South Africa at this stage in his career. While I’m at it, how about George Groves defending his Commonwealth 168lb title against Thomas Oothuizen out there :?:

When is Tyson Fury going to stop ducking Price ?

Posted August 4, 2012 6:00 pm

Price should not fight Michael Grant. He will be destroyed and his carrer will be finished. Grant is too powerful for Price or the Klits. In fact, he is the future in the HW´s.

I don’t understand why Price doesn’t fight Fury. Oh wait a minute….thats right, Price was No.1 contender for the Brit title and Fury dumped the belts and ran like a fat kid to the cake shop. I mean like a Fury to the cake shop. Price moving onwards and upwards carefully but at least he’s not treading water. Win that Lonsdale belt outright and step it up, eventually to the World title.

top hat

He wouldnt have a problem with Skelton
Grant would be a big step up and help him move on

fight grant. HW Division is the land where the giants rule, let the giants face each other. Grant vs Price will be awesome.

The Kingslayer

Please let it be Grant and not Skelton.

IF? Your kidding me right…A-Hasn’t Been a Force for sometime. Grant or even a Shot Skelton is a step up over A-Force

Dangerous move by prices team to take on grant. The guy is very experienced and might just do a number on him. Hats off to them though for even considering it
