This guy seems to be very good. He is NOT faster than a young Mike Tyson. If anything he’s just as fast, or a bit slower at the advanced past prime age of 41! Nevertheless “Hardcore” looks very good from these tapes. Are these post prison tapes? He gave a very good answer regarding why fighters deteriorate early in their careers.

I like this guy… Very strong.. very sharp.. very good puncher.. very quick.. very smart..

Very old … That’s the only problem. If he were a 20-year-old kid his potential would be limitless.. He’s like a smarter and quicker southpaw version of Tyson.

Kid Blast

Not avoided. Too old

Tomato Can

Mansour needs to make noise with his mouth he doesn’t have much time left, he older than dirt with nothing accomplished. He has 18 fights and will be lucky to end up with 28 or 30 by the time he’s done.

Why is it, that poor white trash are always trying to point at others instead of looking at their own pathetic lives?

Yes, avoided out of irrelevance. I thought he looked explosive in the clips i saw of him knocking out taxi drivers.

Vlad the Impaler

Jim and Assyrian God got it right. Amir just struggled against Harris for 12 rounds. Tony Thompson would beat Mansour easily. So would Wilder, Arreola, and a few others from the US. He’s not the top prospect in America, let alone the world. Hype job. He might be an okay sparring partner for the Klitschkos. That’s it.

Wladimir would knock Amir ass-first over the top rope, into about the 4th row for gosh sakes!!! This guy needs 12 rounds with Maurice Harris???

Paper Champion.

How can anyone duck you when yourself are saying “people don’t know me” .???lol

Make a name fighting known ranking boxers then you can claim if someone is “ducking” you of not!

Another delusional American HW – The K2 avoids me……………..

Why on earth should they fight you Amir? Please go back to the jail 4ever, thanks.

Why in heavans name does the fight between Franklin Lawrence and Darnell Wilson not get any ink for tomorrow! That includes the Travis Kauffman fight too! These guys that run Boxing don’t care anything about protocol! Theyre all gangsters!

Zabdiel Judah was born with that name and he has Hebrew ancestry

Oquendo called Monsours bluff when he was offering the lions share of a 60K purse to his opponent.

Welliver turned it down b/c he was doing BIG $$$ in China at the time.

I think Monsour is an OK fighter, but vs Guinn he looked guarded and that can’t be a good thing when your’e fighting a guy who only throws 12 ppr.

Don’t just sit there….bust a move
I am dancing as I key this entry….And the robot….

Posted August 23, 2013 7:03 pm

Amir needs to fight a guy in the top 30 before he talks himself up. I could be 18-0 by fighting dead guys !!

Posted August 23, 2013 6:57 pm

Mick the Marmalizer

What a load of bollox! Joseph Parker & Hughie Fury are the future of the H/W division!!

Posted August 23, 2013 6:44 pm

I have read rubbish written about this guy in the past, he is not avoided he is crap. Put him in against anyone decent and he will be beaten.

Posted August 23, 2013 6:25 pm

Fight Aficionado

LOL when hyped up cherry pickers who face strictly drunken bums and punching bags say they’re ducked.

Posted August 23, 2013 6:18 pm

Amir Mansour is not being avoided. Its just that any heaywieght contender, or champion has nothing to gain by fighting him. It seems like Amir Mansour is just trying to con his way to a bigtime payday. lOl aMIR Mansour

Posted August 23, 2013 5:38 pm

flash knock down

Lol hey guy no one is afraid of a 41 year old heavy weight that beats guys with double digits losses. There are a lot of guys who would use you just to stay busy. Just because your trainer loves you don’t mean you can really fight. I am surprised the K brothers have not called you being that you are old and short. Fight someone then get back to us.

Fears boxrec says 6 foot 4 and a half but he looks about 6 foot 2 and a half

Posted August 23, 2013 3:35 pm

That’s not MY nickname, this is Amir’s nickname!

Posted August 23, 2013 3:28 pm

pretty sure nobody is avoiding this 18-0 fighter. Remember the term taqiyaah.

Posted August 23, 2013 3:23 pm

LOL – There goes Slater with his Heavyweight nicknames.

Posted August 23, 2013 3:14 pm

I thought it was GGG. :)

Posted August 23, 2013 2:37 pm

He also looks David Tua short. How tall is he?

Posted August 23, 2013 2:10 pm

Yes, and I’m the most avoided Welterweight out there. I’m willing to fight Floyd, Marquez, Bradley, Khan, Thurman and anybody else, plus I will settle for 10% of the Total purse, but they still avoid me. Mansour, I know how you feel Brother. It’s tough on guys like us. Lol.

Posted August 23, 2013 2:10 pm

This guy looks exciting, but he needs to get a move on!

Posted August 23, 2013 1:03 pm

Mansour should have taken the fight with Harvey Jolley, Harris is too crafty!

Posted August 23, 2013 12:49 pm

Brazilian Boxing Fan

I hope Mansour beats Harris.
