@ Tark: I want to see Wilder against someone who isn’t a corpse!

It’s Me, Ernie

Sorry, no REAL proof of Wilder wanting Delboy, just more Tarkisms…

Yeah it is really time for him to step up. Knocking out tomato cans in the first couple of rounds really does nothing for him.

They are protecting Wilder as they should until he is ready for bigger fights. Some out here would toss the kid to Iron Mike if he was still around in his prime…Gzzzzz….let the kid build on his blocks and this will not be an easy fight……TKO RD 6 WILDER

Wilder tried to get Chisora… At least he’s trying to get somebody who can fight… That somebody isn’t Liakhovich… I want to see Wilder-Jennings.

AssyrianGod, Price had a far more extensive amateur career and was more polished as a fighter. Big difference there.

Another fighter they have pulled out of virtual retirement to fight the next great champion. Liakhovich has fought 5 times in the last 5 years, and lost 3 out of 5, I guess they don’t have much faith in Wilders ability.

Sеrgеу not Sеrgеi

Sergei needs to retire

Wilder will get put up the rankings no doubt, maybe then he can fight someone relevant, I would like to see him against Stiverne, my money would be on Stiverne.

Problem is while the Klitsckos rule no one is in it for glory because only a KO loss awaits them, atleast this way heavies like Wilder can make a few bucks of the back of impressive ko’s on nobodies and re-treads. Thats the M.O of HW boxing at them moment the way I see it anyway.

I can’t find any odds on this one? Anyone see any?

Liakhovich is way past his prime but he is experienced and that is really the next kind of test Wilder needs. Someone with a big hard, always comes to fight and has fought some top heavyweights. If Sergei isn’t totally ruin I wouldn’t be surprised if an upset happens. Wilder is far from polished and I think will be easily exposed once someone gets pass his initial flurry. Might be Sergei but it definitely be someone one this guys way up if he doesn’t learn to throw balanced power shots. Was not impressed vs Harrison or any of his fights yet.

could the white wolf beat the alabama jackass aka the windmill not inconceivable

We will find out if Liakhivich do 1 of 2 things no one else has done. Take Wilder past 4 or beat him and if WIlder can stop Liakhivich faster than anyone else. Quicker than 9 rounds.

This fight is a mismatch waiting to happen, you fight a fighter that has lost 4 of his last 6 fights since his most impressive win against LammonBrewster. However, if Sergie Lakhovich desides to take to Deontay Wilder the fight could be a real stinker fight for Deontay Wilider. My most likely my perdiction Deontay Wilder by a 8th round tko that proves nothing at all.

I PREDICT Wilder will win by TKO. I Am the GREATEST fight propher EVER born!!

People don’t understand how to develop a fighter. This is a step up with a fighter who has proven to be tough as nails in the past. Wilder is still a long ways away from being a contender. He almost knocked himself down in that last fight swinging off balance. He has a lot to learn. If people don’t see that than that is their problem. Keep moving him along slowly, that is his only chance. This kid started boxing late and still doesn’t have his big frame under control.

Get him in there with chisora!

Wildеr will murdеr Pulеv-hуpе soon or lаtеr аnd knocking out Chisorа thаn bеаt Wlаd. Dеontау thе big nеxt chаmp!

Kid Blast

Brutal mismatch. First round KO. Bet on it.

As soon as DW goes 30-0 with 30 KOs, he will then engage in a big one. Arreola or Chisora or Jennings would fit the bill nicely.

I’m actually perfectly ok with this match. David Price a similar case tried to rush himself like all you guys say Wilder needs to do and he got stopped twice and exposed. But if anything it was bad management. SL is a good opponent because he will go rounds. He has never been stopped early and will send punches in Wilder’s direction. Wilder at this point in time hasn’t been tested. Never been dragged to deep water, never been forced to adjust or change his gameplan mid fight. This fight should give him experience

I liked the white wolf years ago when he was coming up.But now he is nothing most likely not even a mere shell of himself. This fight is worst then Harrison,Wilder is a bad joke.I dont care if Wilder has some talents and positive assets,he just goes from sub-par fighters to more sub-par fighters.I still think his team knows something about him thats why their holding him back.

Has Sergei really been one of the most respected heavyweights in the world for years? ? HMMMMMMM

Posted July 21, 2013 7:32 am

Why is Wilder is fighting another way past his prime no hoper while many of the other so-called young guns are fighting each other or are fighting live opponents??
