Pitto-Culcay was an ugly decision, from two inept, or probably eyesight-handicaped judges. The only thing you have to accuse Culcay of is that he fell too much in love with his strong defense, and forgot to work more visible and longer, to show a greater amount of clean connects. But no way he gave away more than 6 rounds, he dominated 6 rounds himself too clearly to lose 8 rounds. 116-112 is the decision of judges who can’t see well enough to spot Culcays short, sharp single hands connecting cleanly. Perhaps time to do mandatory eyesight checks for judges prior to fights.

With Dawson & BHOP fighting seperate fights this year, Cleverley’s only option could actually be a fight with Braehmer or Shumenov. I would personally prefer to see Clev/Shu in the USA(preferably east coast).

Koernerman: Agreed it should have happened ages ago, but didn’t. Clev & the general public deserve a unification next time.

Mick ths would be Cleverly’s hardest fight by far, it should have happened ages ago and I hope it still doe, close fight and we would see how goos Clev really is for once.

What’s the betting the WBO install Braehmer as #1 contender @ 175Lb & we have to suffer the borefeat of him challenging Nathan Cleverley & miss out on Clev/Shumenov,Dawson or Hopkins in genuine unification fights
