Trout locked better than mayweather against Cotto huh? Wow, that is the dumbest sh** I ever heard Trout did not nearly land the good clean punches Mayweather did not to mention that Mayweather almost took out Cotto in the last round

Posted April 3, 2013 12:32 pm

Mathew hatton was TKOd in the 4th round by DAVID KEIR IN 2003!!

Posted March 30, 2013 5:44 am

I think Trout will win on points, Canelo will try to KO him early with power shots, gas out by round nine because he chased Trout around and threw powers shots all night while Trout threw combos all night and ran. Trout is no push over. Trout by SD.

“Canelo could not KO a C-CLASS WELTEREIGHT MATHEW HATTON!!!!” McFan, NOBODY has KOd Matthew Hatton. Ever. He’s never even been stopped by TKO. But Canelo beat him up as sure as I have five fingers on each hand. Kell Brook could only beat Hatton by decision. Hatton is not the best, but he’s not a slouch either. He’s tough as nails and never quits.

Even Trout is at best a B+ level fighter..

Canelo has only 10 or so Verified fights on his record and most if not all were against over the hill shot or smaller fighters.. not a single unbeaten top anyone.. NONE!

Exiled Yank – 35 of those fights on Canelos padded bogus resume were in Mexican Cantinas vs fighters with 0 -2 records and he started compiling that bogus record when he was 13 years old.. LOL don’t believe me go to BOXREC and check it out for yourself.. most of the fights listed for him have ? next to them because they cannot even be verified.. could’ve all been made up..

I don’t and can someone explain to me why Trout is so good? I show the Cotto fight the dude did not look great and use his weight to push Cotto around! I mean serious!

Exiled Yank

Canelo is inexperienced? The guy has nearly 50 fights and has held the WBC belt for a good while. When exactly is supposed to actually become experienced?

Duran I don’t like trout but your comments are over the line!

Posted March 29, 2013 7:58 am

Now Canelo is fighting the biggest and fastest guy he has ever fought!!
(Austin Trout)
Can someone please explain how he is going to KO Trout

Posted March 29, 2013 5:32 am

Trout might have an inch or two here and there, BUT Saul can put manners on the other man with both hands.

Saul! 4, 7 and 10 are your nap rounds!

1,2,3 is where you’ll beat the fight out of Austin … 5,6 you’ll give him an alarm call … these will be the rounds where you whisper in his ear “feel them” Austin?

8,9 will see the ref interfering on Trouts behalf …

11 …. 11 shuts them all up!

It’s going to be a walk I’m the park for Saul, trout has nothing for him! Cotto was smaller and weaker then trout! Watch Saul hurt him and bad

I see Good

Canelo better be in shape, like an OLYMPIC athlete. Because sissy hitting trout with NO power will be on his biscycle all night. Scared of getting HIT. Thats what American fighters do RUN when they are scared of mixing it up like a real man. Canelo will corner him and CRUSH him with devistating blows. Roy jones Jr. KNOWS power and he says CANELOs got it. UD for Canelo or KO. More likely UD its hard to hit someone that is running like a coward.

Public Enemy and Ghetto Thug claiming Canelo will be exposed as a hype job. What if he wins? Will you guys give him props for being more than a hype job? Somehow I doubt it. Put aside the cheerleading from either side and we’ve got two world class jr middleweights who will go to war in an evenly matched bout. Win-win for fans of both guys. May the best man win — and be given appropriate credit for his victory.

KING, you shouldn’t post BScene links here. Not because it promotes a competing site, I don’t give a damn about that. It’s because that site is ridden with viruses, sypware and malware. I stopped going there because my AVG blew up every time I’d try to see a story. Not worth it.

Canelo’s always in good shape so Trout’s fast pace won’t be a big problem. His timing will be though. Trout is crafty and has a decent punch, which is a tough combo. After criticizing him for dragging up jr welters in the past, I gotta give Canelo props for taking a high risk, low reward fight here.

“Canelo will get exposed just like all Hype . . .” JuanMono Lopez or Thomas Dulorme? otherwise, i can guarantee that Trout will not KO Canelo. never mind doing so in his own backyard.

Canelo will get exposed just like all Hype Chavez Cheato jR… Trout will embarrass Canelo… Box his Richard Cunningham Howdy Doody Ears off all night long…

you can say that again. Cotto’s brother was a BUM and Cintron is a C-level basket case. nonetheless, Trout is little more than a contender with potential. otherwise, defeating a glorified and permanently-damaged 154lb gatekeeper like Cotto proves nothing. it’s gonna be very rough going for Trout. i anticipate that Canelo will be looking to make a statement and will be going for the KO. i just hope that Trout’s wife or girlfriend don’t attend. i’m beginning to feel bad about the sobbing wives left in the wake of another devastating win by a west-coast fighter.

Canelo has yet to step up against a top P4P anyone who wasn’t over the hill or damaged.. Even B rated Trout will easily out box this hype job…

Trout looked better then Mayweather vs Cotto are you kidding me! Trout won but its like he did this great job! The fight was close and trout was hit buy a blown up ww! Lol also who has trout beat? Come on this dude is a joke! He should be fighting at 160 as big as he is! Serious Trout is sloppy and is not that good

Win or Lose, Canelo is telling the world he will fight the best. Respect.

Posted March 28, 2013 12:27 pm

mikej…that’s about how it is…trout is a boxer and canelo never been really tested enough to say he was tired in any previous fights as the author claims

Posted March 28, 2013 11:41 am

Mike J

Trout can box and has movement, no doubt, but I wouldnt call him “fast paced”. If Trout is fast paced, Im scared for this author to right an article on about featherweights. Trout’s mobility will make Canelo work…wont stand in front of him like previous opponents. As far as the pace, I feel Canelo will be fine. Canelo hasnt really been challenged in the ring, so he has a tendency to fight in cruise control and involuntarily pace himself (i.e. Wladimir K). Cruise control wont be an option in this fight. Trout is going to try to stick and move and fight at close quarters only when necessary. If Canelo cant corner him and/or land his crushing body shots to slow him, he will be chasing Trout for 12 rounds en route to his first defeat.

Posted March 28, 2013 11:19 am

Will Trouts body hold up after 12 rounds of Canelo type body shots ? Mosley almost got broken in half by one of those body shots

Posted March 28, 2013 10:28 am

Who says Trout has a fast pace? LOL

I dont see where this so called writer got this crap from. I guess its safe to say that trout the big ko artist would have koed all of canelos apponents sooner and better. This is not an article, It is a damn SHAME>

Posted March 28, 2013 9:45 am

Mosley and Gomez were sparring sessions for Canelo, he barely broke a sweat….what fights did thie guy watch…..definitely a Canelo hater…boximg writers should be unbiased

Posted March 28, 2013 9:42 am

There is some truth to the idea that Alvarez did not take out Hatton, Mosely, and a few others. On the other hand, I don’t think there is NO WAY that the judges will give this fight to Trout. There is too much money at stake. Alvarez is a huge draw. He brings fans to the arena. He will soon start bringing big numbers of fans to PPV. There is now way Alvarez loses this fight on decision. Trout doesn’t have enough power to knock-out Alvarez. So, although this fight looks close on paper, although Trout could make Alvarez look bad — it is a relatively safe fight for Alvarez. He just has to stay on his feet and not get gassed as the author says.
