Still, from Basingstoke, makes the step up to championship level after six straight wins under Helliet’s management and popular Croydon slugger Symonds is a former Southern Area welterweight champion and among British boxing’s most exciting fighters.
Symonds says he is looking to “do a number” on Still to set up a rematch with Gavin Tait, who edged him out in a toe-to-toe thriller last year, before he targets British champion Colin Lynes.
The undercard is packed with big hitters.
Crayford featherweight Lewis Pettitt aims to make it seven wins out of seven after a whirlwind win in his last fight, while Carshalton’s popular Ricky Boylan targets a third straight stoppage win and heavyweight hope Dillian White needed just ninety seconds to win his last fight in front of the BoxNation cameras.
Millwall fan Johnny Garton is another unbeaten fighter in action, Finchley-based Pole Marcin Marczak aims to make it five wins out of five and fisherman Warren Fenn plans to reel in a third straight win.
Helliet has added Darryl Setterfield to his stable and hopes the 29 year-old from Redhill can reproduce the form he showed when wiping out Darren Hamilton with a thunderous left hook.
Hamilton has gone on to win Southern Area and British Masters light-welterweight honours.
Morden favourite Craig Whyatt aims to make it back-to-back wins and Helliet also features the professional debuts of new signings Lewis Pinto and Matt Goddard who are joined by Diego Burton to complete the undercard.
