A native of Culiacan, Mexico, 25-year-old Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (43-0-1, 30 KOs) is the son of Julio Cesar Chavez, perhaps Mexico’s greatest fighter, who fashioned a brilliant career with 115 pro fights from 1980 to 2005. The younger Chavez made a splashy debut on HBO in June with an impressive win over Sebastian Zbik.

Peter Manfredo Jr. (37-6, 20 KOs) is a proven veteran looking at a big opportunity in the national spotlight. The 30-year-old Providence, RI native is on a six-fight winning streak and believes he has the skills to take away Chavez’s title belt in the 160-pound division.

Before the live action from Houston, HBO will show the exclusive replay of the third chapter in the stirring rivalry of Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez. Pacquiao won a majority decision in the 12-round welterweight title showdown that was carried live on HBO Pay-Per-View® on Nov. 12 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The debut of 24/7 COTTO/MARGARITO starts off the night of boxing action at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT). The all-access series follows Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito as they prepare for their Dec. 3 rematch, presented live by HBO Pay-Per-View®.
