Lenroy “TNT” Thomas blasts back this Saturday night in St. Petersburg, Florida!!

ST. PETERSBURG, FL (December 9, 2010) Massive Jamaican heavyweight prospect Lenroy “TNT” Thomas returns to battle this Saturday night, December 11th against veteran Arron Lyons, as the special attraction six round bout at Day I Rise, an action packed evening of professional boxing at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Day I Rise is headlined by the homecoming return of former world champion Jeff “Left Hook” Lacy who will take on Dhafir Smith in the main event as part of the seven bout card.

The 25 year old Thomas sports a record of 16-1-0 with eight knockouts, having won every bout since losing a four round decision in his pro debut over four years ago. Standing 6’4”, the southpaw is known for a punishing jab and world class power in both hands.

This year Thomas has looked very sharp taking six round decisions over veterans Homero Fonseca and Joseph Rabotte, both bouts taking place at the A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida.

Promoted by TKO Boxing Promotions, Thomas is guided by Dan Birmingham who has trained numerous world champions including Winky Wright.

Fighting out of Las Cruces, New Mexico, the 29 year old Lyons has amassed a record of 11-9-1 with eight stoppages since turning professional five years ago.
