Herrera and Granados added to Windy City Fight Night 10

CHICAGO, IL (July 9, 2010) Sensational young, undefeated prospects Jaime Herrera and Adrian Granados have been added to WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 11 set for Friday, August 6th at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion, it was announced today by Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions. Herrera and Granados are each coming off outstanding performances at WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 10, held on Saturday, June 19th, Herrera with a crushing third round knockout of Atlanta, Georgia’s Nick Smith and Granados storming to a five round shutout unanimous decision over Mike Culbert of Milwaukee, WI..

Said Pesoli, “Both Jaime and Adrian personify the WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT series. Boxing fans are continuously looking for the next hot prospect or the next contenders. For each of them the sky is the limit, they’re enormously talented young men and they have a very large and vocal fan base.”

With the knockout of Smith, Herrera improved to 3-0-0 (2KO’s), Granados also moving to an identical 3-0-0 (2KO’s) with his win.

WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 11 is headlined by an eight round heavyweight showdown between Chicago fan favorite Mike Mollo, 20-3-0 (12KO’s) and Franklin Lawrence, 12-2-2 (7KO’s) of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Also featured on the undercard at WINDY CITY FIGHT NIGHT 11 in separate bouts are lightweight prospect Antonio Avila, 3-1-0 (1KO), welterweight Genaro Mendez, 1-0-0 and Mike “Hollywood” Jimenez, 1-0-0 (1KO).
