Lange-Cabell Showdown on May 12

Fairfax, VA — Ice Promotions is proud to announce that popular, 20-year veteran ring announcer Henry “Dis-com-bob-u-lating” Jones will bring his exciting style to the May 12th boxing card featuring the Jimmy Lange-Fontaine Cabell WBC Continental Americas Championship Main Event at George Mason University’s Patriot Center..

The affable Jones, who took his unique nickname after hearing Howard Cosell use the word in a 1974 national broadcast, has been a staple on the Washington, DC/Baltimore boxing scene and has been featured on the previous two Patriot Center shows. Buffer wrote the foreword for a Jones-authored book that is being turned into a movie script, entitled, “It’s More Than A Notion!”
