Hernandez, Rincon, Perez & Mollo return to action on Aug. 25

27.07.06 -CHICAGO – Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions, has announced details of the next installment of world class professional boxing set for Friday night, August 25th at the Aragon Ballroom presented with Miller Lite and TCF Bank. Said Pesoli, “Last Friday night was a terrific evening that the packed house at the Aragon enjoyed. We’re putting together another outstanding event for Chicagoland fight fans on August 25th.”

Headlining the August 25th event is the return to the ring of Chicago featherweight prospect Jose Hernandez, 20-3 (13KO) who will be featured in the main event. The co-main event will mark the return to the 8 Count Productions’ ring of welterweight Francisco Rincon, 11-3 (6KO’s) of Dallas, Texas. In his last bout on the 8 Count Productions’ MARCH IN MADNESS event earlier this year, Rincon stopped Gilbert Venegas in the fourth round.

A special attraction six round heavyweight bout will feature Oak Lawn, Illinois native Mike Mollo, 15-1 (9KO’s).

The undercard will include bouts featuring Chicago KO artist, welterweight Luciano “EL Gallo Michicano” Perez, 13-4-1 (12KO’s), WIBA Americas Lightweight Titleholder Rita Figueroa, 8-0 (3KO’s) and crowd favorite Barbaro Zepeda, 6-6-1 (1KO) in separate six round bouts.
