Jr middle Norman Schuster headlines SES´ August 19 show in Halle/Saale and takes on Turgay Uzun for the vacant German title. IBF # 1 supermiddle challenger Robert Stieglitz will have what he hopes is the final tune up before challenging Joe Calzaghe.

WBA heavy champ Nikolai Valuev has left Berlin where he´s been through rehab training after knee surgery for St Petersburg for a few days of vacation before he begins training for a planned defence in the US in the fall. Date, site and opponent are yet to be confirmed.

Boxfabrik Munich, headed by Roland Suttner, will do an outdoor show Saturday night in Munich with around 20 fights on the bill. “It will be mainly a no-name show, two or three six-rounders and the rest over four” says Suttner, “The complete program is not set yet. There will be also music and dancing. It´s our main to make it a big boxing party.”
