Mock returns to Action Nov 4

25.10.05 – By Ike Enwereuzor : In a 12 round main event, November 4, 2005 at Silkeborg Hallerne in Denmark, the current WBO Intercontinental Super Middleweight Champion, Lolenga “The Leopard” Mock (24-9) 8KO’S from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo now based in Denmark will make his first title defense against former WBO intercontinental Champ, Russian, Yuri Tsarenko (24-13-1) with 16KO’s.

The African based Dane is becoming a household name in Europe and around the world. He is ranked No.7 by WBA and WBO. In his last fight in Denmark, April 2005, Mock dismantled former world champion Charles Brewer in round 10 to capture the WBO Intercontinental Super Middleweight championship. Ever since, he has been calling out on all the top 10 fighters in his division including WBO Super Middleweight king, Joe Calzaghe, WBA Champ Mikkel Kessler, IBF Champ Jeff Lacy, Rudy Markssen, Otis Grant, Anthony Mundine, Cristian Sanavia, Robert Steilitz and others.

“I want to tell all the top Super Middleweights after this that I am the Leopard of the Equateur Forrest in Democratic Repulic of Congo, hunting all of you”, said Mock. “I’m dying to get Rudy Markussen in the ring for WBA elimination, I hope Team Palle can make it happens early next year January or Febuary (2006)”.

In November 2004, Mock demolished Giovanni Alvarez in 2 to capture the WBA International Light Heavyweight belt. Mock is also known for his impressive performance in London in September 2003 when he floored bigger man former amateur star David Haye in round 2 of their match and Mock suffered a controversal 4th round stoppage.

“I want all my fans to come out and see “the Leopard” in November 4, 2005, said Mock. “I will take care of Yuri Tsarenko”.

On the undercard, Undefeated WBA number-two super middleweight contender Rudy Markussen takes on Vincenzo Imparato in a 8 rounder. Lolenga Mock hopes a win over his next opponent Yuri Tsarenko will give him an opportunity to fight Rudy Markussen next year January or Febuary 2006 for WBA number-one spot.

Also on the card is Junior middleweight prospect Red Zam Zam facing an opponent to be announced while unbeaten cruiserweight prospect Johny Jensen (17-0-1) 8KO’s squares off against Congonese Toto Mubenga (12-3) 3KO’s

In a female contest, unbeaten female Bantamweight , Anita Christensen from Randers, Denmark (17-) 7KO’s takes on Leona Brown.
