Cool Autumn Fight Night Saturday, Oct. 15

Columbia, SC (October 12, 2005) – The Columbia Regional Sports Council is proud to announce White Rock Boxing and Head Hunters Boxing Promotions will partner together to host an evening of action-packed professional boxing at the Stanick Roofing Warehouse located at 2150 Dutch Fork Road in White Rock on Saturday, October 15, 2005.

Headlining this event will be White Rock’s very own 6’6” 230lb. two-time South Carolina Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion and undefeated heavyweight pro sensation Moultrie “Mooch” Witherspoon who will be taking on Marshon Perkins of Memphis, Tennessee. The “Nature Girl,” Donna Biggers will defend her WIBC Featherweight title against Tiffany Ibanes of Gulf Port, Mississippi. Both boxers have earned their respective titles and will be sure to put on an exciting show for all that come out to watch. Full house attendance is expected (approximately 300 people).

On “Cool Autumn Fight Night” Billy Stanick, of White Rock Boxing says, “We are excited about our fight card for this event. Two of our former amateur fighters will be making their professional debuts, one of which is Marcus Brookes, a four-time Golden Glove winner! Also fighting are Donna “Nature Girl” Biggers, who has won 3 world titles and Moultrie “Mooch” Witherspoon, both are great fighters.”

This event will start at 8:00 PM, with doors opening at 7:00 PM. Tickets for this event are $20 General Admission, $40 Ring Side and $60 VIP and can be purchased in advance at Stanick Sheet Metal & Roofing, 5539 Old Bush River Road.
