Freddie Cuevas Heads To Atlantic City For Showdown With Kassim Ouma on Thursday Night

13.10.05 – A huge weekend of professional boxing action covering both coasts as well as Chicagoland takes place this weekend as 8 Count Productions’ fighters are seen internationally on HBO Latino, Telefutura/Univision and ESPN. Thursday night, October 13th, junior middleweight “Classy” Freddie Cuevas, 25-7 (17KO’s)takes on former world champion Kassim Ouma, 21-2-1 (13KO’s) at the Borgata Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The scheduled ten round bout will be broadcast internationally on HBO Latino starting at 10pm EST, 9pm CST.

This Friday night, 8 Count Productions, HOME OF THE BEST IN CHICAGO BOXING and Bob Arum’s Top Rank Incorporated return to Cicero Stadium, 1909 S. Laramie in Cicero. Headlining the seven bout terrific evening of professional boxing is two time world champion Jose Luis Lopez, 47-4-2 (37KO’s) of Durango, Mexico in a ten round junior middleweight bout against Vinroy Barrett, 21-3 (11 KO’s) of Nashville, TN.

Co-headlining the LATIN FIRE/SOLO BOXEO DE MILLER event is an eight round welterweight bout between new 8 Count Productions’ signee Gilbert Venegas, 8-1-1 (5KO’s)and Steve Vincent, 8-3 (7KO’s) of St. Louis, MO. Tickets, starting at $30 can be

KO Artist Perez, 12-2-1 (11KO’s) will square off against Gomez, 13-3 (4KO’s) in a five round welterweight bout.
