06.02.05 – Highly regarded Michael Lozada of Tijuana, Mexico, meets hard-hitting Antonio Cervantes of Ensenada, Mexico, in the 10-round super featherweight main event on the nationally and internationally televised “Guilty Fight Night” card presented by Guilty Boxing in association with Tecate Friday, Feb. 11, at El Foro in Tijuana, Mexico. The 21-year-old Lozada, a fine counter-puncher, has a record of 13-1-1 with eight knockouts..
The 27-year-old Cervantes, whose power has earned him the nickname “Bazooka,” has a record of 8-3-3 with seven knockouts.
Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are seen domestically on America One; in Europe, Africa and middle eastern countries on Fox Sports International; in Europe and Africa on BEN Television; and in the Caribbean on WCVI Super Station.
Guilty Boxing’s weekly cards are seen in almost 50 million households worldwide, making Guilty Productions one of the fastest-growing providers of boxing television programming in the world.
This is another in the ongoing series of “Guilty Fight Night” cards to be held in Tijuana. The innovative Guilty Boxing series was launched last May and has presented cards in Las Vegas, California and Arizona as well as Tijuana.
Also on the nine-bout card in six-round bouts: undefeated heavyweight Antonio Medivil of Tijuana (11-0-1, 8 KOs) against Gustavo Arroyo of Los Mochis, Mexico, (7-3, 4 KOs); super lightweight Jose Ramos of Tijuana (4-1, 3 KOs) against Fabian Luque of Tijuana (10-5, 5 KOs); super featherweight Noe Bolanos of Cuidad Obregon, Mexico, (7-0, 4 KOs) against Pedro Espinoza of Ensenada (1-2-2, 1 KO) and super featherweight Jaime Maldonado of Cuidad Obregon (3-2, 3 KOs) against Carlos Mancillas of Ensenada (2-1-1, 1 KO).
Appearing in four-round bouts are: heavyweight Marcos Geraldo Jr. of Tijuana (4-0, 4 KOs) against Ramiro Siordia of Ensenada (7-2, 6 KOs); former three-time Mexican amateur champion Francisco Leal of Mexicali, Mexico, (1-0, 1 KO) in a super bantamweight fight; Manuel Ramos of Los Angeles (5-0, 5 KOs) in a flyweight clash; and Antonio Villareal of Riverside, Calif.,
(1-0, 1 KO) in a min-flyweight battle. Opponents in these three bouts will be determined.
Commentators for Guilty Boxing’s “Guilty Fight Night” telecasts are “The Colonel” Bob Sheridan and Benny Ricardo. Sheridan, a Boxing Hall of Fame inductee, has worked almost 800 world championship bouts on six continents during a career that has spanned more than three decades. Ricardo, for seven years a place kicker on four NFL teams, also is a veteran announcer and has covered the biggest events in the sports world, ranging from Super Bowls to World Cups.
