British middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr (19-1, 14ko) and Ireland’s Gary ‘Spike’ O’Sullivan (21-1, 14ko)have re-ignited their public feud through a series of social media exchanges that began when Eubank posted a sarcastic, veiled and somewhat patronising message aimed at O’Sullivan’s team mate Frank Buglioni, who lost his WBA (reg) 168 lb title challenge to Fedor Chudinov in London last night.

Frank Warren: Disappointed by Last Night’s Dereck Chisora Effort

Queensbury promotions boss Frank Warren has admitted he was disappointed by heavyweight contender Dereck Chisora’s (22-5, 14ko) underwhelming 10 round decision over Brazilian journeyman Marcielo Nascimento (18-11, 16ko) last night, a fight that amounted to no more than a dull [televised]public workout for the former world title challenger in front of a partisan crowd at the SSE Arena.

It was Chisora’s second outing without long-time trainer Don Charles, whom he split from earlier this year, and he thoroughly failed to impress despite attempting a fast start against a fighter who was knocked out in 2 rounds by Chisora’s domestic rival Dillian Whyte in February.

Wilder, 29, hurt Duhaupas with some brutally hard uppercuts in the 11th round.

Tyson Fury Unsurprised by Klitschko Pull-Out

Tyson Fury remains unsurprised that Wladimir Klitschko has pulled out of their October 24th heavyweight clash citing a calf strain, causing the fight to be postponed.

The giant 6′ 9″ challenger predicted as much over two months ago, saying he wouldn’t be surprised if Wladimir did what David Haye did to him twice and pull out injured.

The fight will take place on NBC in the US, in Charlo’s Texas backyard. The date? October 31st, Halloween night – quite fitting for what is a freak-show of a match-up that can only seriously be described as akin to legalised murder!

Paul Malignaggi beats Laszlo Fazekas

On Saturday 26, Principe theater looked like an Italian soccer stadium for Paul Malignaggi’s fight against Laszlo Fazekas. The building was sold-out (550 people) and the fans rowdly supported Malignaggi who won on points after 8 rounds. Fazekas didn’t come to be just the opponent and he proved it hitting Malignaggi’s face many times. The Hungarian was also deducted a point for his rugged tactics (a couple of times it seemed that Fazekas wanted to make it a bar brawl). After the victory, fans surrounded Malignaggi asking for autographs and selfies. The dressing room was just a few meters away from the ring, but the Magic Man needed several minutes to reach it because of the crowd. He was also interviewed by ESPN who sent a journalist to Milan to write a piece for their website.
