would people want to see harrison vs thompson/

Posted February 28, 2013 12:10 am

I dont know who talks more him or Amir Khan. Audley surprisingly ended up underachieving during his career, but the guy seemed to be special at the outset. He did say, during the interview, some practical inspirational things about not quitting. But the thing he and Amir Khan always seems to forget, is that action speaks louder than words. Them saying theyre better doesnt automatically make them better. Hey, I guess, at least theyre trying….I just hope its not all for naught….

Peej your misiing the point son, there is many different levels of success and he has found his, we all know he’s no world beater but are you trying to say winning prizefighter is not a success what have you done to beat that like? nothing I would guess.

next fight is Klitchko for 10Mln EUR purse

Dane…Nobody was calling Walker a tomato can…untill Harrison won prizefighter…lol. And Im not a Harrison fan.

Just because you come back after defeat really means nothing unless you can win. Yes it shows you have heart but the problem with heart is it can get you killed. I was a fan of his when he first started but after a while you just know he does not have it so he really should not be fighting. Winning the prizefight really means nothing. He can never make it to the B level status, he is a C level fighter. If he steps up to the B level fighters he loses and normally loses by KO

Unbiased Dane

So harrison beat some tomato cans so what.

Posted February 24, 2013 7:16 pm

say what you want about his skills but his mentality to come back after defeat after defeat and still be a success is one of the best around.

Yes Audley is hot and cold. He must have bi-polar mania or something. One day he show up, and the next day he is a looser. What is up with the Dude. He is a Gold Medal Olympic winner for gosh sakes. He needs to WAKE UP.

Great now he will actually think he is gonna be able to do something in the heavy weight division and we will still have to hear bout him

Posted February 24, 2013 5:00 pm

the win was ok for harrison now lets see him take atvantage of his new oppurtunnity and beat some contenders in the short time he has left . it doesnt have to be guys from the uk who dont seem to want to fight each other . why not try some eastern europeans and americans instead of just waiting for the decent 3 or 4 britis heavy weights to fight

All these excuses about being hit on the ear, are coming from jokers in denial. Fighters get hit on the ear all the time, hence the term “cauliflower ears”. I really think that Price is a nice humble guy, but his punch resistance is very low. He is not a great mover, so i will be caught again, with that small head and long thin neck, i don`t see him going to the top.Price last 4 fights has been against 40 year olds, with low punch resistance themselves. That kind of matching gave him some type of false security. That type of punch from a feather puncher like thompson, should not hurt a well trained huge man like that.

The size of Haye`s mouth is unbelievable, i think he must have had some steroid injections in those lips.

Posted February 24, 2013 1:56 pm

Well done Audley. you will never be the champ but who can be? Hold your head up high. Well Done

Posted February 24, 2013 11:50 am

another thing haye is only biging him up as he sees a possible rematch to make his bank roll bigger.

Posted February 24, 2013 11:28 am

a false cos he’s full of crap….beats up nobody’s and seriously thinks he can get a heavyweight crown . the only crown he can get is a turkey crown

Posted February 24, 2013 11:25 am

Well it seems for the moment that we are starting to get a few ruffles in the calm almost dead heavyweight ocean.

Posted February 24, 2013 9:24 am

Well done a force. Well pleased for you. Perhaps the time has come to end it on a high, yeah who am i kidding, keep going if you feel good. Call out povetkin and go for it

Posted February 24, 2013 9:19 am

agreed. we all know Audley isn’t the GOAT, far from it. and yeah if he gets a world title shot he’ll be a long shot to win it, but there have been far worse boxers fight for world titles (Sosnowski for one). It’s actually quite inspirational to see this guy drag himself back from the brink time after time and remain so positive and enthusiastic. Well pleased for the guy. boxers such as Victor Ortiz could learn a few lessons regarding not giving up from Audley.

Lightweight Mike

OK fans, Harrison is a great guy again, all is forgiven and forgotten.

Mick the Marmalizer

Audley must be the best 3 round heavyweight ever produced in the UK!

Posted February 24, 2013 8:21 am

…if Audley was to beat Fury (and that’s quite possible), I bet A Force wud be offered a crack at a

Fury v Harrison anyone???!

Posted February 24, 2013 7:53 am

A force? More like A hole.

Posted February 24, 2013 7:00 am

Enigma? It was a fix from the start- separate dressing room? What a twat. He belongs on dancing on ice with his loser mate Haye.he had early fights to keep him fresh, and they treated him like a superstar instead of like a never done anything has been that he is.

Posted February 24, 2013 6:58 am

lol yo mamma

who exactly did he beat ????? he got owned by a noboddy and koed in 10 rounds. i can think of alot of better heavyweights

Posted February 24, 2013 6:49 am

The voice of reason

Audley Audley i cant believe it!!!! What an enigma this guy is. The haters will say otherwise of course, but after the knockouts he suffered, not to mention the stick hes taken from all the boxing ‘experts’ – you gotta give him much credit and respect for this victory. Just shows you how mental attitude is imperative in boxing, especially heavyweight boxing. Audley – well done man.

harrison looked like he was on something.. I hope not for the sake of boxing

Posted February 24, 2013 5:34 am

Fair play to Audley. Looks like there were some decent fighters in that comp last night too.
