Broner comes from bad stock. He has talent, but his brain doesn’t work right. I thought he had a lot more, but I was wrong. GGG is years above Broner, comes from great stock and will be one of the greatest fighters to ever lcae up the gloves. Just sit and watch him mow everyone down. He eats and sleeps boxing and trains like a fighter. No one from 154-175 beats him.Posted June 13, 2014 6:09 pm
Hopefully the other top middleweights will decide to get in the ring with Golovkin, and all questions will be answered.Posted June 11, 2014 3:41 pm
In The Know
Hecdog – Heard the same rant with Broner. How did that work out for you and your so-called intelligent boxing fans.Posted June 11, 2014 1:50 am
Geale has no chance whatsoever. GGG is on a different level. I see a stoppage before 10 rounds. GGG is too well rounded, and his Chavez Sr. type work to the body will be too much for Geale. Intelligent boxing fans can see GGG is a special type of fighter that is never out of the gym, always fighting and stays focused 24/7. He is a fighting machine that will dismantle Geale in Madison Square Garden, and Miguel Cotto would be at ringside and see the man he wants no part of. GGG will be an ATG. He welcomes and wants the best fighters in the world. Andre Ward, if he ever fights again will take a beating as well. GGG makes you fight, and his pressure breaks you down mentally as his punches break you down physically. The jab hits him a little, but GGG takes a great punch. Some may question GGG, and they will continue to do so as he beats them one by one. GGG will step up in this one since it’s at the legendary MSG, but the focus and the goal for GGG is to win this for his father that recently passed away. Fight fans should get ready to see a great fighter put on a show. This will not be Miguel Cotto against an old, broken down Sergio Martinez. This will be a great fight and competitive for 4-5 rounds, and than we’ll be able to see a masterpiece put on display by GGG. This man is will not lose for many years to come.Posted June 10, 2014 9:33 pm
Woop Woop says.., “Geale by way of UD!!!”
How are things in Zu Zu Land Woop Woop?Posted June 10, 2014 4:31 pm
Geale has beaten Karmazin, Sturm and Mundine so he is an OK opponent. What we need is unification, end of. Step up clowns.Posted June 10, 2014 3:12 pm
Can’t go into pre fight analysis, because for all our so called knowledge, tape watching, form lines, past opposition, skill sets, power, etc all means and amounts to sweet FA, all we know is GGG hits hard, Geale does not, when the bell rings, we will find out all the other tangibles that make this a very good barometer ??Posted June 10, 2014 6:44 am
If someone is obsessed about ggg it is you not me you you are obsessed hating him because in every ggg article you go and bark non stop .
Listen to yourself how you accuse ggg for ” ducking” froch as if froch asked ggg to face him lol … And you won’t stop mentioning how d. Geaele is weak puncher … Lol …if geale will beat ggg at will for 12 rounds then being a light puncher makes no difference right ? Or is this a planed after fight exscuse when ggg destroys geale ? who btw I am sure he will …
I got you on a record now for saying that geale will beat ggg at will for 12 rounds but the question is will you give ggg credit for beating a formidable opponent that you said will beat ggg or will you find an exscuse like I see you are already making one ( light puncher) ?Posted June 10, 2014 6:07 am
It’s all about money. Chavez Jr. would be worth millions for Golovkin because of his large following of Latino fans. Ward can’t sellout his hometown fights. It’s that simple troll.Posted June 10, 2014 5:31 am
Adrian – How many times do I need to say it, you thick twit? Should I draw a picture for your kindergarten intelligence to understand. Geale by way of UD!!! The way you have a love in for the all conquering GGG on every forum, a loss is being exposed, especially by light puncher in Geale. As for those other lies about Chavez Jnr and so-called comments I made, everyone can see through your petty BS because you are too stupid to quote me directly.
What I will clarify for the less informed who would look to any negativity to back up their soon to be exposed idol is; on the Chavez Jnr possible bout, I said why would GGG fight Chavez Jnr at 168lbs when he ducked Froch and Ward challenges to “clear out the Middles” but it was convenient to let that slip when another guy (Chavez Jnr) who was schooled by former Middle champ Martinez pops up for a fight.
Of course now he sees that the light punching Geale to be an easier option and has dropped the Chavez Jnr fight. Unfortunately for GGG he will underestimate Geale and get a 12 round beat down trying to chase Geale around the ring as Geale lands at will.
So thickhead do you get it now? Geale by UD.Posted June 10, 2014 5:16 am
Whoop sredmond said “I am a spokes person for the truth that GGG is a fraud who will get exposed when he stops running and fights top calibre fighters.”
Who are trying to fool you foking hater ? You think I don’t remember what you said after ggg fought macklin?? You said why don’t ggg fight geale or Chavez but when Chavez vs ggg was announce as a possible fight you started saying Chavez is made for ggg???
Even in this post you are contradicting yourself , first you say geale will expose ggg then you say ggg will get exposed when he fight “top calibre fighters ” so I am asking you now , is Daniel geale going to expose ggg? Let us hear it and stop hating you foking sick racist weirdo !!!
Is Daniel geale going to expose ggg?
I thought Geale was scared 2 fight GGG? Apparently not. Geale will test GGG, hats off 2 both 4 making it happen.Posted June 10, 2014 4:30 am
Adrian – You illiterate fool. Where did I say Geale is a “nobody”? By the way it IS “Geale” not Gael you unknowledgeable, disrespecting, mental midget. I have clearly told you the outcome of that fight, a wide UD for Geale (check spelling dumb@ss). Again, I am not SRedmond, I am a spokes person for the truth that GGG is a fraud who will get exposed when he stops running and fights top calibre fighters. Plenty have called him out and all we hear are crickets and all we see is spinifex rolling across his camp. Even when he was to fight an actual sized Middleweight he opportunistically and disgracefully used the death of a relative to make up a BS cultural reason to duck that fight. Adrian go back to your crappy little, over populated, always raining, never to see sunshine, island and whinge about something else.Posted June 10, 2014 3:25 am
Woop woop = sredmond
What’s a matter now ? Even Gael is a “nobody”? You kept saying ggg should fight someone like Gael. ?? Faaaaking haterPosted June 10, 2014 2:51 am
Golovkin’s people are talking with Soliman’s people about a unification fight, he is also fighting Geale. Golovkin also wants to fight Murray, Quillin and Cotto, but Cotto will run from him, he would never fight Golovkin although HBO wants a Golovkin/Cotto fight ASAP…………….
Is everyone posting too fast?Posted June 10, 2014 2:30 am
soothsayer – well said. I completey agreePosted June 10, 2014 2:29 am
Something tells me though that GGG is in for a tough nightPosted June 10, 2014 2:15 am
We will finally see how good GGG really is here. Geale has phenomenal work rate, if he becomes tentative all of a sudden against GGG that will be proof enough for me he is the goods, with or without a dominating winning performance.Posted June 10, 2014 2:13 am
geale is in trouble.Posted June 9, 2014 11:12 pm
Has GGG been tested at MW? Macklin was a good benchmark having lost to Martinez and Sturm. Geale will be busy and work the body. Let’s see what happens here before making statements that GGG can beat anyone thru 175lbsPosted June 9, 2014 10:33 pm
hecdog get off Mannys nutts. GGG is way too big for Manny guy like Canelo and GGG would beat Pacs ass if Marquez was able. GGG actually is a over hyped nobody he hasnt even been proven or beat anyone worth talking about. But Manny will never fight anyone besides Ruslan, Marquez and other top rank fighters so we will never know….Posted June 9, 2014 5:39 pm
Gentlemen, GGG can beat anyone from 154-175 except maybe the legendary Manny Pacquiao. Geale is a good boxer that will present some challenges, but eventually he will crumble. GGG is a great fighter that has beaten everyone he’s ever faced regardless if they are world class fighters or not. Smart boxing fans can see the talent miles away. I’ve said in past comments that GGG act, trains, thinks and fights like great fighters from the past. He is focused, never stops training, stays busy fighting and his skill level is at the top of boxing. Canelo, Cotto, Chavez, Ward, Kovalev and any other fighter from 154-175 will not beat GGG. This man is the real deal.Posted June 9, 2014 4:59 pm
KOrnerman…Even when there were two or three belts the first thing the Champs wanted to do were fight unification matchs. “Undisputed Champion of The World.” Those were the Days.Posted June 9, 2014 3:11 pm
best post of the week.Posted June 9, 2014 3:08 pm
dick tiger back in the day there was only one champion and EVERYONE wanted the belt he possessed, that’s when guys who would eat todays champions for breakfest used to fight each other in non title fights just to keep busy.Posted June 9, 2014 2:59 pm
be interesting to see if GGG blasts away the normally durable Geale.Posted June 9, 2014 2:55 pm
” The Confessor”
Killing Moon The Soothsayer ,
It seems like when Golovkin is standing in the middle of the 160lb playground that the other kids don’t want to come out and play . The exception’s being D Geale and Sam Soliman.Posted June 9, 2014 12:40 pm
Anonymous@ You have a great point there, but the problem is they’re ducking him too. I don’t know about Froch or Kovalev, maybe they would fight him??? Kovalev might be too big for him though.Posted June 9, 2014 12:36 pm
Killing Moon The Soothsayer
This is GGG’s 12th defence of the WBA-title…Y’know …Has anyone actually heard people seriously calling him out or targetting his belt…No?…Wonder why…Hmmm…GGG has not and will never be taken lightly…It’s all there for the doubters to see…It doesn’t take a genius to see his Jab,Ring generalship or the effect of his punches on his opponents to understand that he isn’t a hype-job…I am not saying he’s perfect, because he isn’t…But the traits he brings to the table are easily recognized by any boxing-Scribe/Fan/Trainer/Fighter…Anyone trying to convince you of the opposite is either a fool or following some weird agenda. Nuff Said.Posted June 9, 2014 10:11 am
Has GGG fought anybody of note? he’s also relatively short for SMW and there are a few decent names in that division so he probably won’t want to step up unless it’s a weak opponent.Posted June 9, 2014 8:43 am
Agree with you Dick Tiger, but now it’s obvious he won’t get a shot at 160, then he needs to go out and be great. Holyfield dared to be great. David Haye talked himself into a toe-job. PACMAN stepped up. GGG should now say FU to the guys at 160. Take his belt and campaign at the higher weights and if someone steps to him at 160 then yes, fight them. I remember not too long ago Paul Williams put all fighters on note from 147 to 160 and he carried out his challenges and made matches with Winky, Martinez and was yo match Canelo before he was crippled.
Back in the day, the other middleweight title holders would be chomping at the bit to get their shot at Golovkin, Forgive me that was when boxing was the sport of boxing an not the business of boxing.Posted June 9, 2014 7:47 am
Is WOOP WOOP the poster HECDOG?Posted June 9, 2014 7:29 am
Oh you poor deluded fools. They say a sucker is born every minute. Well on ESB it looks like it’s every second. GGG has fought nobody except blown up Welters and Jnr Middles. He has fought no one except ring rusty, injured has-beens who were already punished by other Middle Champs and former Champs. GGG is only facing Geale because of the embarrassing situation of numerous call outs which the GGG camp let go unanswered, so he chose the lightest puncher he could. It won’t matter though as this fraud called GGG gets smoked by Geale in a wide UD loss. The myth will be exposed and all the IQ deficient morons who believed in this GGG smoke and mirrors career will go missing from the GGG forums and jump on the next bandwagon.Posted June 9, 2014 7:13 am
Back in the day if a boxer couldn’t get meaningful fights at his weight he’d step up a division or three. If GGG cannot get a meaningful fight then why can he not do like new British Cruiserweight Champion Ovill McKenzie did this weekend and step up a division and take out the best names he can get there, rather than waste his times and skills on crappy fights for chump change?
