I think the same think but of course they got folks out there that think Angulo is a punching bag. I think they gonna be in for a surprise and then the hate for Canelo will start back up

I’m telling to anyone who wants to listen, Angulo is a dangerous fight for Canelo; this guy s all wrong for Saul & if Canelo start taking those long brakes on the ropes like he did against Trout, he’ll end up asking for the plate of the truck that just ran him over…el perro is a very, very live dog.

This is going to be an all out war !A grat fight by 2 great fighter and warrioes, I’m leaning towards Canelo only because of his age (23) and at age 31, Angula is getting older.. 2 great fighters in one great fight, it should be the fight of the year … What other fighter would come off a fight that he lost to Mayweather and take on a warrior in Angula.. I give him a lot of credit … PEACE .. . .. “The Language of the Ring “

Canelo will easily beat Alfredo Angulo for as long as the fight lasts, which should come anywhere between round 3-8. I’ve studied this fight, and give Angulo less of a chance. Angulo’s punchers chance is about as good as winning the Power ball Lottery. He has nothing but toughness. Toughness rarely wins unless the opponent has a glass jaw and runs out gas, which is probable with Canelo, but unlikely. Canelo will land all night with everything he throws. Eventually he will bust up Angulo, and it will be a replica of a fight that happened years ago between Larry Holmes and Randall “Tex” Cobb. A butchery and massacre leading Howard Cosell to tell the world that he would never broadcast a professional fight again. This fight will be much the same. A one sided horrific brutal beating for Canelo. These kinds of fights are usually made to continue the build up of a popular young fighter that has a chance to be a star in their promoters eyes. Angulo is the lamb being led to the slaughter house. The PPV viewing is atrocious. The loyal Mexican fans will follow their new young idol, and pay to see this massacre. After the win, Canelo and his promoter will continue with their egos telling the world they are ready for anyone. On the other side of the ring will be Angulo, swollen, busted up with his promoters and fans telling him he will do better the next fight. He will wait for another day to fight, and get another pay day for himself and his promoter. In the end, Angulo will take the beatings and leave boxing with little money to show for all his hard work. This is boxing.

i recall Angulo’s reaction to being Socked by Kirkland, which won’t be any more pleasant if he corners Canelo who i think Socks just as hard and with more precision. i also don’t see an upset but upsets do happen and Angulo has been pushed back to the very threshold between A- and B-list fighters. come to think of it, following his uninspired loss to Mayweather, Canelo’s just one step away from that threshold himself . . . “War!” indeed.

Fight Aficionado

Canelo is going to jab at Angulo’s orbital bone all night. Angulo has a puncher’s chance as he does every fight but I don’t see an upset happening.

The question about Saul stamina will be definitely answered in this fight against Angulo; if he’s not prepared to go thru some grueling rounds with “el perro”, he’s getting KTFO…just saying.

Well according to Hunter it was not as serious as was said. But we will wait and see. I see this as a pick em fight.

that rahman bump is alot different thenn the sensitive area around the orbit bone. canelo knows about the eye and the dr knows about the eye. it will be atraget. canelos team chose angulo for this reason.

Canelo’s in trouble…

Posted February 21, 2014 1:48 pm

I don’t think Angulo is gonna have an issue with his eye. If you look at Lara he had the same problem though in a different area of the head and that has not swelled up like that before. Have seen it happen to other fighters also. Remember Rahkman. Same happened to him against Holyfield and that never happened again. Also happened to Paul Spadafora
