As of 4th October, Khan v Mayweather has just been officially announced and confirmed by Showtime for May 3rd. I will not be watching. This announcement is an insult to fans. I have lost all respect for Mayweather. Khan does not deserve a shot and only cares about the pay day. This is disgusting.Posted October 4, 2013 10:16 am
Hecdog.., Broner is cozying up to Danny Garcia so he doesn’t have to fight him… Just like he said, “Floyd is like my brother.. Who fights their brother?”
GTFOOH Adrien.., You don’t want to get your ass kicked.Posted October 4, 2013 2:02 am
but i think he hopes mayweather diesPosted October 3, 2013 4:01 pm
dr phil`i’m gonna go out on a limb here and believe that floyd wants the fight, manny wants the fight but bob doesn’t and in that case majority rules and the bob father is the majority so it doesnt matter what the pacman wants .the bad blood that arum has against floyd and oscar is scary but pacman cant blink without bob telling him to and that’s the sad part….its’s crazy!Posted October 3, 2013 4:00 pm
BLOOD TESTS IN AMERICA,,WHATEVER NEXT.Posted October 3, 2013 3:46 pm
Well it is too bad Pac and his team refused to take those random blood test or he could of called Floyds bluff he wasn’t willing to fight. But instead they came up with excuses on why he couldn’t take the test.Posted October 3, 2013 3:23 pm

People want to see lil Floyd move up because he refuses to fight Pacman. Therefore the only comparison that can be made between the 2 best of this era is how many divisions they fought at. These are sad replacements for the actual match up. But this is what the sport & it’s fans have lowered their expectations to. This is akin to having an AFC & NFC Superbowl where the winners don’t have to play each other. All that is left is a bunch of numbers & a lot of guessing.Posted October 3, 2013 2:54 pm
If mayweather was a young lad i’d somewhat understand wanting him to move up and challenge himself but wow some of you guys are ridiculous in what you asking for so you guys wouldn’t mind him moving up and risking his health even though he comes in at 150 pounds comfortably in a super welterweight event?and so what if he claims to be the best every fighter needs to feel like he’s the best that’s one of the reasons they do it and to write him off just because of that is ridiculous .what’s really going to happen if mayweather faces and beats ggg.Canelo was suppose to be too much for him remember?,so everyone is digging in the crate to pull out a worthy challenger for him but every time i look i see that his challengers are weighing more and more, just let me know size really don’t matter skillz pays the bills but why does mayweather have to fight Haye/klits to actually keep you cats happy n quiet…..it’s crazy!Posted October 3, 2013 1:40 pm
P4P, We already know that he is the BEST out right now. Thats why he is the favor to win no matter who he fights. The only thing you are saying to me right now is that you believe that Mayweather has the best skills to beat ANY boxer. You just want to know how BIG of a boxer he can beat before weight out skills SKILLS. Money has proven his IS an all time great whether any of you guys like it or not. HE WILL BE 37 YEARS OLD when he fights again. How great is that. He just beat up one of Boxing future stars rather easily I may add. and you are STILL talking about he need to fight someone else to be at least considered ATG? Really? 17 years, undefeated!!! Called OUT Dela hoya when Dela was YOUNG, and Dela turned down the fight because he said Mayweather was a nobody. He tried to fight SHANE, but shane said he had a toothache. They have videos on youtube with Mayweather call out these guys. Its too late to discredited Mayweather now. He is OLD. Its too late.Posted October 3, 2013 11:52 am
First Question, are you for real. You want a guy that walks around in the 150’s to fight guys that are 160 and come in the ring at 170 to 180 on fight night. Mayweather after making weight at 150.5 came in on fight night at 150 against a guy that weighted 165. That’s not a challange. Your Logic is just to put Mayweather in a fight that you feel he will surely lose. Because you want to see his first loss so you can say he wasn’t that great.
Second Question, how many weight classes would you expect Mayweather to move up considering his weight entering the ring?Posted October 3, 2013 11:49 am
If Money is as good as he professes he would fight any man 5’7″ – 6’1″ in height and weighing anything up to 160lbs.
GGG does not wear caps saying he’s THE BEST EVER.
DELK1 – Just want to see him challenge himself more than others have so we can honestly assess if he is TBE, ATG or just a great fighter.Posted October 3, 2013 11:29 am
Khan better get paid really well if this happens, because he will be finished after this…Posted October 3, 2013 10:46 am
P4P He is the the BEST right now. I don’t know about the best ever. You say you want Mayweather to challenge himself. REALLY? So fighting a man 20 pounds more than you is not a challenge. What makes GGG any better than Canelo?? How about GGG challenge himself and fight at a disadvantage to his NATURAL weight. Lets say fight at 150 or 152 with rehydration clause of 165. How about some of these other boxers challenge themselves.
P4P you must think that MAYWEATHER IS THE BEST EVER. Because you want Mayweather to fight a man almost 30 pounds than he is, yet you are STILL PICKING MAYWEATHER TO WIN. LOLPosted October 3, 2013 10:44 am
The people who pay for these fights to happen – The PUBLIC – call the shots….Not the boxers!
We can all accept and appreciate Money is the best WW and LMW going so move up to MW and challenge yourself….I would if I was Money. Then when he wins he can make claim like he does…and win he will if he’s as good as he makes out right.Posted October 3, 2013 10:32 am
Proper men challenge themselves in all aspects of their lives.
TMT call the shots, NOT GGG who have not even EARNED a shot at Mayweather. THe only fighter that has is Bradley. Of course PACMAN will not take a blood test, yet he and Rios are taking one. What Happen with this NEW found courage of Pacriod to take a test. Did he get help from a psychologist or something. He is all of a sudden not afraid of needles now. LOL BOB and PAC really pulled one over on his fans didnt they? LOLPosted October 3, 2013 10:25 am
Shouldn’t Amir be in California training with Virgil Hunter?Posted October 3, 2013 10:19 am
Hey P4P while we at it, when Mayweather finish whipping GGG, Lets go ahead and put him in there with one of the Kkitschkos. Seems like you guys want Mayweather to jump from weight class to weight class. Yet you don’t require any other fighter to do the same. If GGG wants it, tell him to come to 152.Posted October 3, 2013 10:18 am
If Floyd decides to stay at 147 then there are only 2 fights that are acceptable to me – Pac or Bradley. He will win either anyway!
Even if he lost his 160 fights I’d respect him more for trying!
We need to accept Mayweather is unbeatable between 140 – 147 for the current crop of opponents out there.
You can tell how dumb Khan is by his delusional view of grandeur and referencing himself in the 3rd person.
I agree with previous poster. If Khan had even a quarter brain size as other humans he could be a great boxer. Unfortunately for him though the poor electrons in his brain go all scrambled once the boxers touch gloves at the start of the fight.
Na does nothing for me Mick … I still want to see Manny Vs Junior that’s the only fight at welter …Either that or Sergio at 154 ……………Posted October 3, 2013 6:10 am
Mick the Marmalizer
Khan VS Alexander for the IBF title in December makes 100% common sense with the winner meeting PBF in May. Unifications always make more cash & someone has to bring something to the table if they want to make a few $/£’s out of Floyd. Undefeated WBO titlist Timothy Bradley could also entre the equation.Posted October 3, 2013 5:17 am
Glad to hear this!Posted October 3, 2013 5:07 am
zab judah beats khan in a rematch right now. suckers who got the nerve and gall to call out money-may after getting dropped in their last 2 fights, gonna go knock out the champ? even khans new trainer said he gets whooped.khan has a mouth i’ll give him that.he ain’t afraid to take an ass whooping.kind of like tim bradley.they talk big talk and get there asses whooped every time.jmm going to end bradley.i respect all fighters except the one’s who keep talking, and getting beat.Posted October 3, 2013 3:31 am
Emanuel Steward used to say that he found that the boxers complaining the most about cheating are usually the ones cheating themselves.
Floyd lost a defamation suit concerning his accusations that “Paquiao refused to take the test”Posted October 3, 2013 3:21 am
A Cog In A Wheel
Happyboy – Floyd remains the only fighter who refused to fight Pac unless he took the test.
He’s also the only one of them who has actually failed a test – 3 times. jajajajaPosted October 3, 2013 2:41 am
Dumb fight 4 Mayweather. Whats the point of a cash grab fight when you are already so wealthy?Posted October 3, 2013 1:48 am
If Khan had half a brain he would be a very dangerous fighterPosted October 3, 2013 1:35 am

His speed or Olympic fighting style will be crack by a Mayweather right hand in the second round.Posted October 3, 2013 12:28 am
Khan has no CHIN..This fool is another JCC Jr all hype, but his boxing record and past 3 fights show that he has no place fighting the best P4P.Posted October 3, 2013 12:26 am
love him or not khan is an exciting fighter and if he boxes mayweather it will be a cracker unlike some of mayweathers recent fightsPosted October 3, 2013 12:09 am
Floyd should not fight Khan, Garcia, Maidana, Ped Man Marquez or Bradley. He beats them all easily. They’re all too one dimensional. The only fights that Mayweather should be involved in should be against GGG, Ward, Broner or the legend that is, Manny Pacquiao. I know GGG and Ward are bigger, but as usual, a catch weight would be involved. Floyd loses to both. Broner would be a great fight. I think Broner also beats him. Manny Pacquiao knocks out Mayweather. Trust me, Manny stops Mayweather.Posted October 2, 2013 11:52 pm
Khan wouldn’t take Floyd 10.. Floyd would end it by 7.Posted October 2, 2013 11:44 pm
Khan beat Floyd on udPosted October 2, 2013 11:32 pm
I will put real money on Floyd by KO on Khan prior to rd 10Posted October 2, 2013 11:31 pm

Here’s my theory, Floyd will fight Danny or Amir in may, should cotto beat delvin than were looking at a fight I’d love to see a Cotto vs Canelo ppv maybe a couple weeks prior to or after Floyd’s ppv event if not on his undercard, than the winner will get a rematch with Floyd!, with Floyd not wanting the pacman fight I don’t see showtime letting him go anywhere else for the fact that they want big money fightsPosted October 2, 2013 10:50 pm
*Khan will defeat Floyd on the score cards.Posted October 2, 2013 9:51 pm
Khan will defeate Floyd in the score cardsPosted October 2, 2013 9:42 pm
Maybe it is Garcia, Mayweather will beat him easy, styles, there is no guessing, with Khan, it’s different and fighting away, better fight.Posted October 2, 2013 9:41 pm
Floyd isn’t fighting Khan, Alexander, or Judah next — are you kidding me? He’s fighting Danny Garcia.. It just won’t be announced for a couple of months… Let the suspense build.
Danny is undefeated and he upset Lucas Matthysse — who everyone said would be Floyd’s next opponent if he got past Danny… He didn’t.Posted October 2, 2013 9:31 pm
Zab Judah lost his last fight, next fight Mayweather, it’s not really worth going on about who Mayweather fights next, Judah lost against Baldomir, but had that style that made the fight interesting, ODLH lost against Sturm, there was a Hopkins fight.Posted October 2, 2013 9:08 pm
Yes, a Kahn fight would probably generate big money in the UK, but Kahn is no where near deserving of a fight with Floyd. The winner of Marquez v Bradley, or even the young Danny Garcia are much more deserving fighters and would make an intriguing fight.Posted October 2, 2013 8:55 pm
Floyd better not fight khan regardless of potential big money fight in the uk, c’mon I’m an adult anybody know of a 8 year old kid that wants to fight me?…. This needs to stop man We alllllll know that khan won’t beat Floyd we all know that!, Floyd’s 1 of the best ever BUT if he wants to be the goat than I suggest he stops looking for advantages in picking his opponent and just pick them, Martinez is now injured, margarito is done, Paul Williams injured, pacman has to beat both Bradley “again” and Marquez plus give Floyd 3 fights under TMT in order to get that fight in other words he doesn’t want to take that risk, he did fight Canelo but again he knew Canelo was and is a little to green!,Posted October 2, 2013 8:17 pm
Some paper in the UK I never heard of reported May 2014 is a done deal for Floyd vs Khan. I didn’t see it reported Khan-Alexander was off though. What’s the media outlet he’s denying?Posted October 2, 2013 8:16 pm
Who else will Mayweather be fighting then, he is on a showtime contract, the fight will have to make money and will there have to be some interest on who could win, if Mayweather fights in the UK, away, it’s creates more interest as well, more PPV.Posted October 2, 2013 8:14 pm
Only person i can see beating money is triple g. Only cause of his size, strength and skills. But that fight wont happen. Khan looked horrible against diaz a journeyman well past him prime. No way he has a shot against floyd!Posted October 2, 2013 8:13 pm
plain and simple waist of time for Floyd to fight Khan and Amir aint beating him.Posted October 2, 2013 8:04 pm
Would this fight be shown on HBO or comedy central?Posted October 2, 2013 8:01 pm
Styles make fights, just because you lose or win against other fighters, boxing has proved that, it could be a difficult fight for Mayweather, Mayweather could lose against Khan, but it will not mean Khan is better than Mayweather.Posted October 2, 2013 8:00 pm
Khan wont beat alexander so no need to worry bout khan vs mayPosted October 2, 2013 7:59 pm
blue eye devil
Good, because a fight between Khan and Floyd would be a farce. Mayweather barely broke a sweat against Canelo and is so far out of Khan’s league that it would be a bad joke to ask people to pay for this on PPV.Posted October 2, 2013 7:51 pm
Yeah right, next fight Mayweather.Posted October 2, 2013 7:47 pm
