Jenkins burst onto the scene in July with his impressive win in the Prizefighter Light Welterweights III at the York Hall in Bethnal Green, coming in as a late replacement to win every round he boxed in, with the icing on the cake a second round stoppage of Danny Connor in the final.

Chris Jenkins Wins Prizefighter Light Welterweights III

Chris Jenkins was head and shoulders above the rest of the field as he stopped Danny Connor in the final of the Betfair Prizefighter Light Welterweights III at York Hall, Bethnal Green.

The Welshman, fighting for the first time as a professional outside of his homeland, recorded points victories over Tony Owen and Eren Arif in the earlier rounds before needing only a round-and-a-half to triumph in the final. Continue reading

The final tickets for Carl Froch’s blockbuster IBF and WBA World Super Middleweight title defence against George Groves will go on sale tomorrow at midday from the Phones 4u Arena.
