Braehmer TKO round 8

Quick Jab

I wish it would go back to one F*****g belt per division like it used to be, we’d actually see the top guys scrambling to fight each other for it, now when a champ gets one of the big four belts he becomes allergic to fighting the “other” champions, I mean come on there should be only one champion in each division.

How come Frenkel never fought again after KOing Enzo? He was undefeated too. … Ofalobi, Lebedev and Haye would all surely beat current day versions of Hopkins, Braehmner and Shumenov – 3 of the best at 175.

I dont think David Haye, Ola Alfolobi, Denis Lebedev and Alexander Frenkel were less oppoisition than Brahmer, thats a terrible statment.

Hasn’t this spindly china chinned domestic fighter called ENZO already been exposed by David Haye and lesser opposition?

We’ll soon see boxtradamus. When enzo knocks him out before the 5th round, you can call me king verdict.

i really am looking forward to this and i really think enzo will pull it off in one of boxing’s biggest Cinderella story. god bless to both boxers! just hope enzo retires when he wins – to go out as a world champion after all his been through would be great!!!

Although to be fair Braehmer won the WBO title in 2009 and hasn’t lost since. He never lost that belt in the ring. I’d also pick him to edge out Shumenov and Hopkins on points.

I wish Enzo all the best, it’ll b a great win if he can pull it off. Good luck Big Mac! …. But in the real world, Shumenov is the actual WBA champ at 175 isn’t he? Just like Ward is the actual WBA champ at 168, not Froch. Man, as if the alphabet strap people hadn’t confused things enough already!! Only Calzaghe and Fitzsimmons have EVER held true linear titles at more than one weight in UK boxing history.

A belts a belt….Since there have been 4 of them, everyone could argue which one is better than the other. We just need 1 belt, per weight cat, for all pro boxers to go after. There is no school, like the old school. Enzo to win this fight, 100% (I would say that though, wouldn’t I?) I can totally understand why people think different, but the man has held his hands up to his mistakes, learnt from them, and his mind is now in the right place. All that and being a power house makes him a right dangerous bastard for Brahmer!!

Titkes mean nowt! Calzaghe won titles at supermiddleweight and the ring title at light heavyweight. What is a legitimate title? The ‘big 4′ governing bodies? Do we now count the ring? Regular champions, Super Champions, Diamond Champions etc etc etc

Powlow: Calzaghe did only win titles at supermiddle weight.

Argh where do they find these idiot writers from! Its the WBA title not WBO and its not even a world title rather their old ‘regular’ belt as they also have this stupid ‘super’ title,

Posted April 4, 2014 1:30 pm

he did only win titles at supermiddleweight. So no this was spot on.
