This guy sounds a bit disillusioned. The best he can hope for is to be matched with Richard Commey for the vacant Commonwealth title (Derry Matthews has been stripped).Posted March 14, 2014 4:12 am

I wouldent bet to much on that Rafael Mensah will win the WBA Lightweight world title in the coming years.
2004 Olympic gold medalist and former fetherweight world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, 32 is a skilled boxer and is regarded by Fightnews as the Nr.1# Lightweight fighter in the world and is ranked 1# mandatory challanger by WBA. Gamboa is likley to win the title and will then put to much for Mensah if Mensah can climb up high enough to be worthy of a world title shot.
Gamboa is also the Interim WBA Lightweight title holder and can likewise be promoted up to the new champion if Abrilo refuse his mandatory challanger.
Richar Abril, the defending WBA Lightweight world champion is regarded by Fightnews as the 6th# best Lightweight fighter in the world but I don’t see him champ for long.Posted March 13, 2014 11:26 am
