I am not a racist you idiot. I am white. I’ve said it over and over again. I think nobody beats GGG at 160. I was mearly responding to a post that said who needs Ward. If he wants to be a champ at 169 then he would need Ward. That’s all I was saying.Posted February 22, 2014 11:20 am
Grape did turn down the fight saying something about TV dates in Australia. I’m not saying he was running from him I am just saying they did offer him the fight. Well at least that is what was written and from the Article they quoted Geale about the tv issue in AustraliaPosted February 22, 2014 11:19 am
@Happyboy – “however Bulawayo has compared GGG to the Marvelous one… IMO GGG has shown that he has good skills against inferior boxers and yes we have heard the story of Martinez & Quillan ducking him for far too long now it is high time he walks the talk. Funny when Lara is mentioned Showtime is brought up yet when GGG called out Floyd at 154lbs Showtime never came up.”
Okay, I wasn’t aware anyone had compared Golovkin to Hagler. And even then it depends on the comparison being made. If you’re comparing legacy then of course it’d be silly. If you’re simply trying to make a case that one would beat the other, then it’s arguable. One is proven, one isn’t. Being unproven doesn’t mean incapable. If that was the case then no underdog would ever win a fight. Martinez wouldn’t have beaten Pavlik. Hopkins wouldn’t have beaten Trinidad. The list could go on forever.
And it’s easy to tell him to “walk the talk” but someone has to actually step in the ring with him in order to do it… sure it’s been said for a long time that people are ducking him, but maybe that’s just because it’s true. You can’t fight people who won’t fight… Though thankfully it looks like Martinez is going to make the fight.
And I should add, I don’t actually think other fighters are scared of him. I don’t believe for a second that Geale is scared of anyone. I think Martinez was honest when he said he believed he’d school Golovkin. The only one I think who is a bit nervous about Golovkin is Quillin because you’d see a pretty visible change of demeanor in any interview where they raised that name… and it only stopped in interviews after GBP shifted to Showtime and he knew the fight was dead in the water.
But you’re comparing apples and oranges with Lara-Floyd and actually proving my point…
If Golovkin-Mayweather were to be made (a fight I don’t support coz I think the size-difference is getting to the point of ridiculous), you’d better believe Golovkin’s HBO contract would be thrown in the bin and GGG would make the move to Showtime (and K2 would probably go along for the ride). Any fight with Mayweather (or Pacquiao for that matter) is so valuable that it’s literally worth throwing away whatever lucrative deal you might have. Bradley and Marquez showed that in their pursuit of Pacquiao whereby they left their promoters in order to make the fight happen.
And this is EXACTLY what I’m asking of Lara. Lara is the B-side in this arrangement (and a financially weak one at that) just like Golovkin would be the B-side in a Mayweather fight. So if Lara wants to make the fight then HE has to show that he is able to get onto HBO instead of just throwing rocks over fences. Let me point out again that Martinez was literally unable to make a mandatory in the past (and stripped of his title) due to HBO turning down an opponent (Zbik), so how is a Showtime fighter worth less than the coins in my pocket going to get onto HBO without making some serious changes to his own contractual agreements?
SO again, I don’t see how this is any reflection of Golovkin. Is he the Supreme Court of the World or something? Does he have some power that we’re not aware of to nullify other peoples’ contracts??? Only Lara has the ability to put himself into a position to fight.Posted February 22, 2014 6:11 am
Cheezeboy – good points however Bulawayo has compared GGG to the Marvelous one. I do see your point regarding fighting SOG but fortune favours the brave, Ward is a high risk, high reward fight for GGG. IMO GGG has shown that he has good skills against inferior boxers and yes we have heard the story of Martinez & Quillan ducking him for far too long now it is high time he walks the talk. Funny when Lara is mentioned Showtime is brought up yet when GGG called out Floyd at 154lbs Showtime never came up.Posted February 22, 2014 3:12 am
@PEEG: That’s just the point. Why does GGG have to be champ at 168? He can just stay at 160 and keep KOing opponents to become one of the great 160-pound champions. There’s nothing “WRONG” with the middleweight division.Posted February 21, 2014 8:29 pm
Peej geale never turned down the fight with GGG I can assure you. There were two undisclosed contractual issues. But geale said after his win that it’s all but done but the $ was still not quite therePosted February 21, 2014 8:01 pm

Geale’s a top 160 contender, so why not. Andy Lee first at the Garden. Then Gennady flies over to the Outback to take on Geale this summer. After Geale, GGG has his 4th bout against Quillan, Sturm, Murray, or Martinez. Things are heating up in the middleweight division. Nobody needs Ward, Kirkland, or Lara.Posted February 21, 2014 5:13 pm

Geale won’t last long with Golovkin, not a chance. Golovkin would smash him to bits. There’s no middleweight in the world who can beat Golovkin. Martin Murray is hard as nails and would give him a good fight, all the others would crumble against Golovkin.Posted February 21, 2014 1:41 pm
Geale did call out GGG. But one thing must be recognized is that Geale was offered the fight and turned it down for what ever reasonPosted February 21, 2014 1:31 pm

It is GGG fault he hasn’t faced true Top 5 Middleweight opposition. He name drops when they are scheduled, he is inflexible with dates, he fights out of sync with the Top guys so he won’t ever need to face them. It isn’t the others who won’t face him, he won’t face them by intelligently moving his career around the others. Yeah… Ward doesn’t necessarily want to fight Stevenson. Stevenson is an old man but he’s a southpaw who can still punch like crazy. Ward is probably biding his time, and maybe will fight Adonis late next year.
Stevenson abandoned 168 when he got an opportunity at 175… He was Carl Froch’s mandatory and he got screwed. So he said “See Ya”
I can’t believe Chad Dawson fought him. Or fought Ward for that matter.Posted February 21, 2014 2:10 am
@Farmboxer – “said he would fight Ward at 175 or even 168, but Ward refused to answer him.”
But that’s DIFFERENT! Can’t you see? It’s like… TOTALLY DIFFERENT! It’s like Ishe Smith calling out Lara! THAT’S DIFFERENT, DAMN IT!
Golovkin would knock Geale out, no doubt.
Ward is still running from Stevenson even though Stevenson called out Ward live on HBO, said he would fight Ward at 175 or even 168, but Ward refused to answer him.Posted February 21, 2014 1:37 am
It’s not Golovkin’s fault he hasn’t faced the other top middleweights. They’ve been running from him. He will destroy Martinez and Quillin if and when he gets to them. When you look at those matchups — and what the fighters who’ve fought both fighters say — you can’t really blame them for scouring around for other opponents.
It doesn’t matter if GGG is 31… It’s what he does in the next 5 or 6 years that counts.. He already has many defenses of his middleweight title … Martinez didn’t win his title until he was around 34 or 35… Adonis Stevenson is what? 36 or 37?
Today 31 is almost like a kid.Posted February 21, 2014 1:07 am
@The real truth about GGG – “”RE READ 1 THRU 9 then go kill yourself. Lol……….”
Hahaha, nice list of strawman arguments there (though I don’t suppose you even have the mental capacity to know what that actually means)!
1. Nobody said he has.
2. So what? Nobody is trying to claim Golovkin has a better legacy than Ward.
3. Nobody said he has.
4. Ward never challenged him any more than Golovkin challenged Ward. Lara can’t fight due to him being on SHOWTIME… I don’t understand how you idiots can’t get this through your thick heads. If Lara drops from Showtime, then the fight can happen.
5. Nobody says he’s “great”, they’re pointing out he has skills. It’s just like Thurman or any other prospect (though for some reason you idiots don’t generally use the same ill-logic against any other fighter)
6. Nobody compares him to Hagler’s legacy.
7. Nobody is claiming he’s “great”.
8. You’re not a boxing lover, you’re a moron. All GGG fans are vocal in wanting the best fighters to fight him… seriously, I think he has the least protective fans I’ve ever seen.
So get your tongue off Lara’s balls and tell him to drop Showtime, and then we have a fight. Just because you’re in love with Lara and would bend over to all of his whims, doesn’t mean Golovkin would/should too. Lara is the challenger, so LARA has to show he’s capable of actually signing a fight (which at this point HE IS NOT).
The ONLY fight I’d say that is ill-advised for Golovkin (though I’d still not mind if it happened) is a Ward fight. My reasoning is because if Ward beats him, absolutely NO middleweight will ever fight Golovkin again… EVERYONE will have a reason to duck him. If on the other hand Golovkin is allowed to clean up the MW division before fighting Ward, then not only is the fight a bigger deal, but it also ensures that the outcome (regardless of who wins) won’t scupper future fights for either guy.
9. You’re an idiot.
10. I won’t ask you to kill yourself… based on your level of intellect, I’m pretty sure natural selection will take you early enough.Posted February 21, 2014 12:55 am
The real truth about GGG
1. GGG has not fought any top 5 competition.
2. GGG is 31 Andre Ward is 29. By 27 years of age Andre Ward had already cleaned out his division.
3. GGG has not been tested because of the week competition he’s faced.
4. When asked to fight top competition such as Ward or Lara he has many excuses.
5. How the hell could you be 31 years old, be considered great and you haven’t fought anyone?
6. Its BLASPHEMY to even be mentioned with any letters or words starting with H A G L E R… as a mater of fact he should take the G A E and L out of his name because you use some of those letters to spell HAGLER.
7. ALL RATIONAL people are waiting to bestow greatness of GGG until he beats some real freaken champions.
8. Us real Boxing Lovers are really tired of you morons that just won’t allow him to fight any real competition before you call him great.
9. Since he can’t use GAE AND L his new name is spelled, “NNDY OOVKIN.”
10. RE READ 1 THRU 9 then go kill yourself. Lol……….Posted February 20, 2014 10:35 pm
@Boxtradamus – “SO Lara out performed a Top 10 P4P guy vs. Trout.”
Well first off, claiming Canelo as Top 10 P4P prior to beating Trout (or even after beating Trout) isn’t a claim that can be strongly justified. The kid had talent and was still very much in the prospect stages. But let’s face it, Trout was his first “live” opponent.
But let’s go through a list:
This doesn’t include heavyweights, nor does it include a host of others that have achieved similarly or greater than Lara and could arguably be placed as higher than him (e.g. Adonis Stevenson, Broner prior to his welterweight struggle, someone like Froch or Maidana, etc).
On the other hand, if you’re solely basing the Top-10 claim on a subjective view of his skillset, I might consider agreeing with you, but congratulations! In that case, you’re doing EXACTLY what every Golovkin supporter is doing!
And you’re misinterpreting what I meant by the “You have to be kidding” statement. I’m not saying Lara is unworthy to challenge by an means, I’m saying he’s UNABLE to challenge and that’s why I’d imagine Golovkin would be bemused by the challenge.
Geale is heaps better than lee. He went to Germany twice and got the w. he will give GGG problems and he has never been hurt or knocked outPosted February 20, 2014 7:44 pm

Greatest Promoter of All Times.
Daniel Geale has come round to my way of thinking, which is to be big, you got to think big, you got to aim big and win big. He listened to me, whereas as George Groves cried like a toddler. Geale is now targeting GGG in a show I will promote as WHO IS THE REAL G? and Groves will cry some more when he loses to Froch in May. Groves would have made pots more cash in a GG vs GGG showdown, but he knows he will get hurt by GGG and no amount of mountains of cash I offered him could salve the wounds he would endure. Pity. That would have been an incredible shootout. Now, when Groves is whooped by Froch he will come crawling to me to make a match with DeGale and try to target Stieglitz, but my deal will be even less than the 15:85 split his friends at the IBF offered him. He had his chance in Monte Carlo to name his price and aim for the stars but he got all pussy on me and I will not forget.

Cheezb-Its the WAY that Lara beat Trout. Gave him the WORST beating of his LIFE even after he faced Canelo who was a Top 10 P4P Fighter. SO Lara out performed a Top 10 P4P guy vs. Trout.
Lara was ROBBED vs. Martirosyan and no twisting is needed. He landed ONE punch in the last round and Martirosyan landed NONE. The judges scored that round a DRAW when it clearly WASN’T and that is what made the Fight a draw. SO Lara WON that.
Against Williams, Lara SPANKED him SO bad that the New Jersey commission suspended ALL THREE blind MICE after the bout. No more needs to be SAID. The suspensions were unprecedented. That’s how BAD the robbery was.
Thats 3 performances that gave Lara a pattern of being Top notch.
IF Golovkin said “You’re kidding right” to Lara then he should’ve SAID that to everyone on his entire resume. Because Lara is BETTER than everyone on Golovkin’s resume.Posted February 20, 2014 2:23 am

Williams was SULKING before the scorecards were read and then all of a sudden he was ECSTATIC. But anyways. Geale’s resume doesn’t excite ME. Lara is the BETTER opponent.Posted February 20, 2014 1:48 am
For all the halfwit posters on here that think GGG is avoiding Lara.
@Boxtra – “ONE Fight can be an ANOMALY. TWO Fights can be a COINCIDENCE. THREE or MORE WINS then we can call that a PATTERN”
So where are Lara’s “three or more wins” or does that rule only apply to Andrade?
Prior to that, Lara had his lucky escape against Angulo… the same Angulo that Canelo is copping loads of rubbish just for stepping into the ring with. What, Angulo is a perfectly good yard stick for Lara to struggle against, but not Canelo?
Prior to that there is the DRAW with Martirosyan. You can try to twist that all you like, but to be robbed you have to put some rounds in the bank and neither fighter made any deposits on that boring night. It was not a win. And even if Lara did a little more, Andrade did far more. One guy arguably won, the other guy definitely won.
Prior to that Lara has a win against a welterweight who had been stopped in a round by Berto. Prior to that it was Hearns who had been stopped twice already and went on after Lara to get stopped even more by far, far lesser fighters.
And sure Molina was years ago, but so what? Why not avenge it?
Honestly, I rate Lara. I think he’s a good fighter. But Top 10? Honestly, if this resume was Golovkin’s you’d still be screaming and ranting about how he hadn’t fought anyone! You’d pick apart his opponents as unfairly as I just did above.
And again, what about Ishe Smith? Where is Lara’s response? Is he ducking or is it just that Lara knows the challenge is asinine?
Fights are made via negotiations and direct correspondance. This isn’t high school… fights aren’t signed on Twitter, nor are negotiations initiated that way.
If Lara is serious then why aren’t they contacting K2 directly? Send an open email/letter to K2 and let the media have it too. Show that you’re actually pursuing the fight with an avenue to make it happen rather than just bluffing, coz right now he sounds an awful lot like Quillin and his sudden burst of bravery.
Until Lara proves he’s serious about pursuing the fight, it’s not up to Golovkin to entertain him, nor should anyone take him seriously.Posted February 20, 2014 1:47 am

geale is a very very good fighter, he would have a big chance of winning a decision over GGG. he is a high volume workhorse, who has all the fundamental skills of an elite. yes, he does lack punching power, however he inturn possess a very sturdy chin, his footwork is excellent and he is surprisingly elusive. Geale is most definitely GGG’s biggest challenge at MW. geale will take the fight, get stopped late and win the admiration of the boxing world with a polished and gutsy performance. to top it off, geale is a very friendly, honest and respectable man…..p.s. boxtradamus is a f.agPosted February 20, 2014 1:33 am
Lara SPANKED Williams SO bad that even Roy Jones Jr. SAID that he needed to QUIT Boxing… Now thats what they call a SPANKING. The man that needs to QUIT Boxing HIMSELF advised HIM to QUIT before HE DOES…as for Geale he hasn’t even SPANKED anyone equivalent to Williams. Lara is the MAN. This isn’t comparable to Ishe Smith who just LOST his title to a man that he needs to redeem himself against before calling out someone else out…… This is Lara who has just beaten a higher rated Fighter than Golovkin has ever beaten. And this is a World CHAMP calling out a fellow World CHAMP. Again. No comparison.Posted February 20, 2014 12:40 am
The Molina Fight was YEARS ago and I’m not rating him Lara from YEARS ago. I’m rating him on right NOW. The Martirosyan Fight was a blatant robbery. EVEN IF they scored the rounds even up until the last round, Lara CLEARLY WON the last round. I remember that Fight. In the final round Lara landed ONE punch and Martirosyan landed NONE but the Mr. Mcgoo judges called the last round a draw…..ONE punch landed TRUMPS NO punches landed SO that was a WIN for Lara…..Martirosyan regressed after the Lara Fight. Please try to remember that all Fighters don’t remain the same. Some get BETTER and some get WORSE….Andrade hasn’t done enough to be rated Top 10. ONE Fight can be an ANOMALY. TWO Fights can be a COINCIDENCE. THREE or MORE WINS then we can call that a PATTERN…Andrade does have the tools but right now I rate him as LESSER than Lara…..But Andrade didn’t call Golovkin out. Lara DID. SO stop trying to change the subject.Posted February 20, 2014 12:32 am
I hear what you’re saying Cheezb… but Lara is coming on…
All the sparring he’s done with Charlo have made him a different fighter.. Lara can’t be lazy at any time.. He was to be ready to spar every single day — and these 2 guys are both super fast and skilled and love to spar each other. They’ve made each other better and faster.
That’s why he made a blithering idiot out of Trout.Posted February 20, 2014 12:23 am
Cheezb-I am not a staunch Mayweather supporter. I’m a staunch TRUTH supporter and a FACT reporter. Being on a rival network didn’t stop Lara from calling Golovkin out SO it shouldn’t stop Golovkin from responding…..WHY would Lara start jumping through hoops for a guy that won’t even respond???? Makes no sense…..and NO its not unreasonable for Lara to leave his promotional company for ONE Fight IF he wants the Fight that BAD…but again his challenge has gone unanswered by GGG SO that would be FOOLISH to DO it at THIS point where in the Mayweather scenario he has CLEARLY stated that the only way Pacquiao can face him is to leave Arum. At least Mayweather told Pacquiao what needs to be DONE where Golovkin has behaved like he needs to take a HEARING class.Posted February 20, 2014 12:21 am
@Boxtradamus – “Lara is a Top 10 Boxer in the World. Geale isn’t Top 50”
So I guess that makes Molina and Martirosyan Top 10 as well, right? Or did I imagine those draws?
@TARK – “I have no doubt Lara could kill Cotto or any other 154-pounder on the planet”
Well, a few years ago I’d have agreed with you, but I’m not so sure now. He’d probably beat Cotto, but he hasn’t shown any ability to beat every other 154 pounder. Both Molina and more recently Martirosyan were able to take him to a draw… and let’s not forget, that Andrade then went on to beat Martirosyan.
Lara has always been a bit frustrating for me to watch. He seems so talented and at times you see that shine through… and then at other times he seems really average.
Geale did not want to knock back the last offer to fight GGG he wanted to reshedule the fight as in Australia they could not get a PPV on that date. He makes a lot of money on a PPV i n a fight like this and all his fans in Oz would not have been able to watch the fight.
Auzbox-Geale does NOT Box just as well as Lara. What Fighter DID he beat 12 rounds to NONE that is equal to or close to Trout??? Lara is a Top 10 Boxer in the World. Geale isn’t Top 50Posted February 20, 2014 12:10 am
Lara would be a nice fight for GGG.
I would love to see it — just like I would love to see Lara-Mayweather… Mayweather is the most dominant champion at that weight — but Floyd would rather go through Hell soaked in oil than fight Lara.
Lara has done nothing at 160. Sergio Martinez took Paul Williams out with one shot in the 2nd round. The ref could have counted to 1000 over Williams … I noticed subsequent to that fight, Lara let Williams go the distance with him.
So if you’re GGG you target Martinez, Quillin, and other middleweights… I have no doubt Lara could kill Cotto or any other 154-pounder on the planet—but let him prove himself at 160. Go after Quillin and establish yourself EL.. You can kick his ass and get a title.Posted February 20, 2014 12:09 am
Geale was robbed in his Barker fight…
He put Barker down hard with a brutal liver shot for a strong 2-point round, Barker barely beating the count, and he landed more and better punches. I don’t know how you come away with a loss after that.
I think Golovkin should take the Geale fight unless Sturm or Quillin want to fight him. Those are much better fights for him, but I would be astounded if they would fight 3G.
So Geale would be the next best fight for GGG. Smashing another world championship caliber fighter would help set him up for Martinez, after the Cotto fight. Golovkin should take Geale out in 5 ro 6 rounds.Posted February 19, 2014 11:56 pm
@Boxtradamus – “Lara eyed a showdown TOO but we saw what that got him.”
Ah yeah, how brave… Lara “calls out” a guy who is on a rival network, knowing full well that neither HBO or Showtime would allow it to happen. Reminds me of Quillin’s sudden bravery when GBP switched to Showtime… dude could barely whisper Golovkin’s name prior to that.
Why doesn’t Lara put his money where his mouth his?
Make no mistake, I’d love to see a Lara fight happen and I wish all these network and promotional politics would jjust get out of the way. But let’s face the facts… this is the reality we live in, and Lara is not exactly making any real effort to make the fight he claims to be chasing.
Funny though… Ishe Smith called out Lara last week. He’s closer to Lara’s pay grade than what Lara is to Golovkin. Lara hasn’t responded. I guess Lara is ducking Smith, right?
Or if it’s unreasonable for Lara to leave Goldenboy to actually make a Golovkin fight happen, is it also unreasonable for Mayweather to point out that he won’t fight Pacquiao while Pac is with Top Rank?
@Auzbox – “He had a chance in April but they disagreed on contractual things not he didn’t want it.”
I can’t help but get the impression that if anyone else had disagreed on a contract like that, they’d be smashed in these forums for being a ducker. It seems that it’s only because it was Team Golovkin sending those contracts that the opponent is getting a free pass.
@B Red – “is Geale a better boxer than Quillen?”
He’s one of those guys that has losses on his record, but those losses weren’t exactly clear defeats by any means. The Mundine loss was very controversial and the Barker fight was even arguable.
Quillin’s performance (or lack thereof) against Rosado has made me doubt him a lot. Rosado was walked down and beaten to a pulp by Golovkin, and yet he was able to walk down Quillin (even though he’s not naturally a “step up” fighter) and come close to causing an upset.
In fairness sturm vs geale in vegas and quillin vs ggg winners face eachother since martinez won’t fight any of them chicken man!Posted February 19, 2014 11:28 pm
Auzbox, is Geale a better boxer than Quillen?Posted February 19, 2014 11:19 pm
I never seen Geale fight, im going to check him on youtubePosted February 19, 2014 11:16 pm
He had a chance in April but they disagreed on contractual things not he didn’t want it.Posted February 19, 2014 10:53 pm
Boxtra geale boxes just as well as Lara. Geale stood up last night and said lets get it on. He went to Germany on two occasions. He deserves the fight also. Lara struggled against angulo. Geale struggled against no onePosted February 19, 2014 10:52 pm
I will put it this way, if it happens or not great, he had had a chance in April but for some reason decided not to take it. I hope he does fight GGG in April so he backs up what he has talked about GGG. Really funny how many fighters talk negativity about GGG while GGG has nothing bad to say about anyone, so let’s give GGG time to finish his business quietly. Just please no one call him a fake like Stevens did!!Posted February 19, 2014 10:42 pm
SISSY.Posted February 19, 2014 10:35 pm
…and we’re not talking about what his promoter SAID. We’re talking about what HE SAID. Lara didn’t challenge your promoter. He challenged YOU.Posted February 19, 2014 10:35 pm
Lara eyed a showdown TOO but we saw what that got him. The detectives are STILL looking for GGG’s response. Even Sherlock Holmes can’t FIND it.Posted February 19, 2014 10:34 pm
GGG should really be allowed to fight Quillin even if K2 has to take him to Showtime. It’s the only fight worthwhile short of Sergio, but DibellA won’t let his revenge for Jermain Taylor lose.Posted February 19, 2014 10:18 pm
Went to Germany twice and called GGG out- didn’t send it back to the promoter like some of the other do. He is dead seriousPosted February 19, 2014 10:15 pm
Anyone suggesting Geale isnt serious about wanting GGG next is kidding themselves, lets not forget where he had to travel to and most likely the very onesided deals he had to accept to win the titles he won, fairly.Posted February 19, 2014 10:10 pm
Martinez probably should have lost his title, if I count those “slips” (ref definitely was crooked)Posted February 19, 2014 10:06 pm
golovkin vs Geale….lets do this!!! golovkin vs andy lee would be a JOKE…Posted February 19, 2014 10:03 pm
Kato now you looked him up you know he handled sturm quite easily only was split with the German judging. He went there twice and won. Geale beats Quillan to I thinkPosted February 19, 2014 9:59 pm
I agree Geale would be a good opponent for GGG. But I think it’s fair to say Geale was smart and cashed in on a money fight with Wood. Nothing wrong with that, once in a while. Now Geale probably figures let me take a shot at GGG, at worst I’ll get destroyed like everyone else GGG has faced. And maybe, just maybe I’ll survive 12 rounds and raise my stock up.Posted February 19, 2014 9:30 pm
patrick2…derailedPosted February 19, 2014 9:18 pm
Mmmmm looks like Woop Woop is somebody else and they forgot to change their name. Either that or an imposter. He did reply multiple times with Eagles Eyes on the last GGG thread, which isn’t his MO.
Maybe you’re just slipping Woop Woop or have seen the light. LOLPosted February 19, 2014 9:18 pm
Well I have now heard or really read 3 or 4 fighters call out GGG. That most feared or dodged fighter label is disappearing quick.Posted February 19, 2014 9:16 pm

time to turn up the notch on the tripple g bum of the every other month clubPosted February 19, 2014 9:15 pm
Geale put on a show against Wood to raise interest within HBO. No reason for them not to set up the fight. If GGG is being avoided like he says then fight Geale, send a contract now while Geale has nothing scheduled. At least Geale would expose some flaws or last more than 4 rounds, even if GGG is too good.
Patrick2 – GGG has never fought Murray. It is comments like those that keep feeding Woop Woop responses.Posted February 19, 2014 9:14 pm
i’d rather see GGG fight geale than take on andy lee whom got trounced by fatboy chavez jr. cheeseburger…Posted February 19, 2014 9:14 pm
Whoever said on here that Geale has never fought anyone with a name, they obviously know nothing about boxing. Barker, Sturm, Adama, Sylvester just to name a few. I´ll say Mundine as well just because he is pretty fast with decent boxing skills, even though he is the biggest pretender in Australian boxing. I like GGG as a fighter and I hope this fight can be made. Geale won´t duck anybody so there is no sense in saying that he doesn´t want the fight. Geale for the decision when he fights GGG.Posted February 19, 2014 9:13 pm
Woop woop. Stevens and Murray are both 10-ten rated middleweights. And GGG destroyed both of them — that’s some “hype train.”Posted February 19, 2014 9:09 pm
To make some noise, Murry should target Quillin or Strum. If Murray could bump off either he’d have a super strong hand at the table to get another title shot.Posted February 19, 2014 9:07 pm
Another challenge to GGG and more silence from the GGG camp. No surprises anymore. Geale has always wanted the fight and it is GGG camp who were inflexible so that there guy, ‘the illusion’, doesn’t need to fight a decent champ or contender. This is GGG career to date, being a name dropper when he knows that a fight cannot be made. GGG would rather fight #23 Andy Lee or blown up Welter and Jnr Middles or injured, ring rusty ruined leftovers. Still if the suckers want to waste their money on a ‘smoke and mirrors’ guy like GGG, then jump aboard the hype train. Choooooooo!!! Chooooooooo!!!Posted February 19, 2014 9:04 pm
Good to hear Geale wants GGG. Yet another – Stevens & Murray — top-tier middleweight willing to step in the ring with GGG. After this fight, next should be the kingpin, Martinez, or perhaps his victor Cotto.Posted February 19, 2014 9:02 pm
i’d like to see Martin murrey get a shot at golovkin because we all know martinez won’t give him a rematch even though many felt martinez was given a hometown decision…Posted February 19, 2014 8:55 pm
I don’t consider Geale a “world beater”, but he’s a good fighter, he did well against Barker and I felt he was robbed against Sturm….you guys call him a “nobody” but who’s GGG been fighting? I mean, first people say everyone is ducking GGG, now that someone’s showed interest you put him down? If he wants it, and since no one else does, give it to him.Posted February 19, 2014 8:40 pm
Cheezb, I don’t think Geale really wants Golovkin either, but he sure does like to say that he does. This summer is his last chance to prove he’s serious. Golovkin will be looking to get one more fight in before a potential Martinez bout this fall. That means Geale can fight him in July or August. Murray can’t fight in the States, and the list of potential opponents is still small, that would leave Geale as one of the favourites to get the fight, provided his courage matches his bravado.Posted February 19, 2014 8:12 pm
Dude dont want it w triple g!Posted February 19, 2014 7:59 pm
I don’t think Geale has any real intention of fighting Golovkin in the foreseeable future. He’s been offered the fight twice and rejected both times (after calling for the fight both times); I figure he’s calling the name again because it’s looking fairly certain that Golovkin is going to be locked in for a Martinez showdown after his April date (and assuming Martinez gets through Cotto in his June date).
I think he’s probably hoping more for a Sturm rematch. At least if he can win that fight a second time, he brings a title to the table when negotiating a Golovkin fight.
geale beats a nobody with 12 wins and he’s a solid contender for golovkin? thats rich. enjoy watching that one. ggg in 4.Posted February 19, 2014 7:32 pm
Geale fought Garth “from the hood” Wood. That guy’s claim to fame is his acrobat entourage and exposing Mundine for the bum he is. He’s a journeyman and nowhere near the same league asGGG.Posted February 19, 2014 7:30 pm
Daniel Geale, REALLY?????? Hmmmmmm….. Sturm, maybe… Quillin might be a decent test. But who has Geale fought? Lemme look him up on Boxrec.Posted February 19, 2014 7:27 pm
great fight. Geale looks real good last night and could trouble GGGPosted February 19, 2014 7:00 pm
