PR is not a country. it’s a U.S. territory. MEX or myself can travel to it any time we want too. like going to Catalina Island or the Virgin Islands. we’re not entering an independent country. it belongs to U.S. we might need a passport to travel to Baja but our driver’s license will do when traveling to PR. it’s not a country. it’s a dependent island-territory. always has been but why am I telling you this? you know this already. it’s your proud(?) history.Posted February 9, 2014 10:46 pm

Danny blows and Public Enemy swallows
Is that why Danny Garcia CHOSE to STAY AWAY from the real COMPETITION at welter. I mean cause Brandon Rios went up to face Manny Pacquioa and Danny Garcia is set to face what?…… a taxi driver. Yea, real champs or should I say chumps there. Until Danny Garcia goes up and faces someone like Pacquioa, stay quiet, you sound retarded at times.Posted February 6, 2014 9:41 pm

I heard the USA went to Puerco Chico and took a steamy dump in their backyard made them their b*tches and called it a US state. Damn the USA raped and kicked around more puerco chico culo then tag team Mexico in to finish the job.Posted February 6, 2014 9:18 pm
At the pre-fight presser when Khan was preening for the media, Danny Garcia was very clear:
“timing beats speed”.Posted February 6, 2014 7:16 pm

Khan was the guy getting schooled… He learned freshman grade lessons is patience and accuracy… and timing… Timing is THE thing.
Garcia has great timing with his left hook counters and Khan is a sitting duck… Amir’s head is in the air… You can’t miss him.
Danny just wanted Khan to keep throwing… as soon as Khan started getting hit he started to go to pieces… Danny said in the corner, “I’m getting him. I’m hitting him good.” after the 2nd round.Posted February 6, 2014 2:28 am
Floyd xylocaine mayweather
Garcia was shooled by khan.
I like Danny, but I dislike his clown ass dad. Who is dat fool Danny boy be fighting? Never heard of the dude, they should at least gotten him another potato sac like alfonso gomez or pablo cano, if they goal was to throw a Mexican dude at him. Easy fights for Danny, not a good match up, but at least they have a name.Posted February 6, 2014 12:19 am
Broner’s mistake was being retarded. you cannot be flatfooted and remain in front of a premier power puncher like maidana when your best chance of beating him is by boxing him.
devon alexander BOXED and moved vs. maidana and mathysse.
amir khan boxed maidana.
a boxer is supposed to BOX a power puncher and not go toe-to-toe.
broner’s style is very similar to andre berto. but broner is slightly quicker and slightly stronger and slightly better chinned than andre berto, but unfortunately slightly better than berto won’t get your far in the talent stacked welterweight division.Posted February 5, 2014 11:11 pm
“… Maidana had Broner bamboozled with his feinting. Broner never knew where the punches were going to come from. The best way to fight Mayweather is to fight smart. Guerrero didn’t do that, Canelo didn’t do that, Ortiz didn’t do that, and Mosley didn’t have his PEDS *LOL*
1. Boner mistake* was underestimating Maidana and trying to BRAWL and match Maidana’s power.
pac destroyed cotto (before cotto went the distance years later vs mayweather) and annihilated hatton in 2 rounds (who went many rounds with mayweather).
pac destroyed margarito, a beast that destroyed cotto and one who mayweather ducked.
pac destroyed mosley, a guy that seriously hurt mayweather.
te tumbo, what’s your eastsideboxing forum account? let’s start a thread in the forums or post in the bradley/pac fight thread. you will wager money on bradley and i will wager money of pacquaio in their fight and we both will post screenshots of our sportsbook bets.Posted February 5, 2014 10:50 pm
“What’s Mayweather gonna do? Fast COUNTER punches and lateral movements. End of story. Another easy and predicatable win for Fraud Mayweather.”
Fraud May, there was a lot more to Maidana’s win over Broner than “over the top” punches. Maidana had Broner bamboozled with his feinting. Broner never knew where the punches were going to come from. The best way to fight Mayweather is to fight smart. Guerrero didn’t do that, Canelo didn’t do that, Ortiz didn’t do that, and Mosley didn’t have his PEDS *LOL*
Anyways, let me ask you this? Who would you pick to win if Maidana fought Guerrero? How about Maidana/Provodnikov? How about Maidana/Peterson?Posted February 5, 2014 10:37 pm
“there isn’t a single welter who would be favored to defeat Mayweather or who would not be considered 5-1 underdog, At-Least.”
Te tumbo, I’m going to actually go against the prevailing tide: I think Maidana would do better against Mayweather than most think he would.Posted February 5, 2014 8:40 pm
Mayweather v. Pacquiao* is a lopsided anticlimactic mismatch in Floyd’s favor. Manny* is seriously overmatched v. the likes of Mayweather. talent and skills disparity aside, Floyd is simply a much smarter fighter. Pacquiao* is as dense as a chunk of busted concrete. ZERO adaptability and MINIMAL versatility. both of which happen to be Mayweather specialties. anway, we’ll never find out since, unlike Mayweather or Marquez, Pacquiao* is simply unwilling to face his primary P4P rivals on their terms, for Once. even though one remains #1 P4P and Undefeated and the other brutally DEMOLISHED Pacquiao*, erased him from P4P lists, and put him out of commission for an entire year resulting in Manny* holding all the cards(?!?). Pacquiao* needs to drop the diva posturing and pick up an ATG purpose or simply retire after losing to Bradley . . . Again.Posted February 5, 2014 7:38 pm
the point is that garcia, even tho i’m a fan, isnt the most credible challenge to mayweather right now. that slot still belongs to pacman.Posted February 5, 2014 6:52 pm
te tumbo, you’re flat our wrong. right now pacquaio would be a 2-1 underdog AT BEST vs. mayweather. and in the near future pac would be less of an underdog, say by end of april because he will beat bradley in their rematch.Posted February 5, 2014 6:49 pm
HIDALGO, never mind ready. Garcia is the most credible challenger to Mayweather’s welter dominance even if it is as a distinct underdog. that is, IF Garcia is determined to include the name of Mayweather on his ring-resume. Maidana is equally worthy but where’s the suspense in that matchup? Thurman simply isn’t ready. that takes care of the top-three welters none of whom would be favored to defeat a still-prime Mayweather but at least Garcia figures to lose in relatively competitive fashion. otherwise, Ortiz and Canelo weren’t ready to face the likes of Mayweather. Guerrero was as ready as he would ever be, which made no difference to the final and predictable outcome. never mind ready. the entire discussion about who Mayweather will, should, or could face next is purely academic. there isn’t a single welter who would be favored to defeat Mayweather or who would not be considered 5-1 underdog, At-Least.Posted February 5, 2014 4:37 pm
te tumbo, Garcia isn’t ready to challenge Mayweather. And he knows it. That’s why he’s staying at 140–to build his own legacy. He doesn’t need a loss on his record at this point in time.Posted February 5, 2014 3:35 pm
This is a step down compared to Garcia’s recent fights against Khan and Matthysse. Guess he’s entitled to a homecoming showcase. I won’t bother watching though.Posted February 5, 2014 3:07 pm
“Garcia is not all that. A split decision with holt and theopane? ”
Boxing Barlow, you’re talking about fights that Danny had three and four years ago. But he still beat them and that’s what counts. He’s a much improved boxer now.
But still I think you’re on the right track regarding your overall opinion of Garcia. Who has he beaten and what kind of records do they have? With the exception of Matthysse and Khan what have his other opponents brought to the table? How much credit should he receive for beating has-beens Judah and Morales–and he had a really tough time with Judah!
Most everyone on Dannys resume’ has a significant loss record. In fact, seven of his last 11 opponents had six or more losses before Danny fought them. Danny’s only truly shining moment was his win over heavily favored Lucas Matthysse. His team came into the fight with a great strategy, Danny boxed like he was supposed to, and he got the win.
But Danny needs to fight more top caliber opponents–and other jr. welterweight champions–to prove how good he really is. Herrera may be a tough fight for him, but he’s nothing to measure against. Danny is doing the same thing Mayweather is–doing his best to maintain his zero by facing opponents who don’t have much chance of beating him. He needs to face guys like Ruslan Provodnikov, and Lamont Peterson, and even Dierry Jean who is a very skilled boxer. A fight with Juan Manuel Marquez would be a very stiff test for Danny (if Marquez wanted to go back down to jr. welterweight) and in fact I’d favor Marquez to take him out. A rematch with Amir Khan would be a great and revealing fight for Danny.Posted February 5, 2014 2:53 pm
Garcia is not all that. A split decision with holt and theopane? Not stuff of great champs. Amir Khan was owning him until he got clocked and would win a rematch imo.Posted February 5, 2014 2:08 pm
PRicans will find any Mexican to get a win over a Mexican…they found this bum at a flea market…Danny should be fighting at 160 …cheater.Posted February 5, 2014 1:35 pm
Garcia’s ready to challenge Mayweather. not that he would win but he’s the most legitimate challenger. i watched Alvarado v. a very game Herrera and “El Maestro” was boxing and punching well until Alvarado was able to convincingly slug his way to victory over an outgunned Herrera. good, stay-busy, tune-up bout for Garcia. he’s peaking and prime for the “Money” challenge . . . albeit, as a distinct underdog.Posted February 5, 2014 11:00 am

Mikey knock out Danny? Good luck with that….Swift has been very impressive the last few yrs. @ 25 he still has room 2 improve…..scary. Don’t get me wrong I’m impressed with Mikey….but u gotta take baby steps. I think he would notice the diff in Danny’s punchers if he was 2 step up. Besides that, Toprank v GBP ain’t guna happen so talk as much smack as u want..Posted February 5, 2014 5:01 am
Might be some good fights ,, Ponce Del Leon might win this time ,,I feel that Juamma Lopez has seen to many wars ,, so has Del Leon seen a lot of wars but he seems to be the fresher of the two . Herrera is tough but he is not a power puncher ,,he will last the distance . Garcia by decision ..Posted February 5, 2014 12:54 am
