So far only Deontay Wilder has made it through the gate.

That’s right… He’s 41… and because he’s 41 he needs to win NOW. He can’t afford to take steps backwards if he wants big fights and big money.

Tomato, interesting you bought that up. Just read a book that basically says free will is a delusion and all our actions are based on everything pre-ordained and our upbringing. Can’t agree with Tark that if Mansour loses, that means he never had anything going. He’s 41.

It doesn’t matter what Mansour did in the past… It doesn’t matter what Kirkland did in the past… Past is past… Now Mansour has a chance to beat a 6’7″ X 245 heavyweight who’s only been beaten once.

If he can’t do that, Mansour never had anything going in the 1st place. Kelvin needs to get a win here too… If he can’t it’s back to square one. This is where the rubber meets the road for fighters. If you can’t win at this level you’re very much screwed. You’re never going to see the big bucks and everything that goes with it … so they’re pretty damned focused on winning.

Tomato Can

Yeah I bet Mansour was raised with high standards then woke up one day and decided to be a criminal… You know just like Kirkland. Both have made poor choices, and both will more than likely make more poor choices. I wouldn’t want to walk a day in either of their shoes cause I just make the same poor choices.

I’ll watch because it’s free and available. But Mansour and Rodriguez are poster children of wasted talent. Can’t blame Rodriguez for being attacked by cowardly thugs but you can blame him for not stepping up for 10 years prior to that. Don’t know the specifics regarding Mansour’s problems but what a waste of a life to commit armed robbery especially when you’re a talented fighter.
