Oh well, kind’a thought Vanes was gonna take Andrade deep and would take over with some rough house pressure down the stretch. Vanes didn’t seem to want it enough. Taking too long to initiate exchanges. Andrade proved keep his poised better than I expected but that was partly due to Vanes not doing nearly enough. Oh well… props to Andrade and team.

EZ PICKS: I could be wrong of course but… I Would kind’a like underdog Vic to win. Why?? I dunno, maybe because he’s a massive underdog. BUT… he won’t.

Would love to see my massive underdog buddy Martinez win BUT… unfortunately he won’t either. Man, I would LOVE to be wrong here.

Would like to see Martirosyan win AND I believe he will, barely, in a ho-hum fight. What’s the line on this fight?? Who’s the underdog??

Apparently Donaire and his camp considered Rigo too small and of no danger. Underestimate a skilled boxer and that’s what happens. You get schooled. Now his confidence is shattered so they brought in a blown up Vic who he already KOed before so he can feel better. That’s fine, but it’s not main event material. Vane vs Andrade is.

In his interview with Herron, Nonito made the following comments about his upcoming fight with Darchinyan:

“It’s to see where I belong in this time, age, and arena of the fighting game. To see what level I’m in and to see what competitive level I’m going to be at. So we’ll see, this is just to get the ball rolling.”

Wow! Nonito has questions about his abilities and place in boxing? I guess Rigondeaux knocked Donaire off his pedestal in more ways than one.

So now Donaire is using Darchinyan as a measuring stick? I’d say Donaire’s confidence in himself has been devastatingly shattered.

I hope it’s a hellluva fight. For 12 full rounds!
