Golovkin should be a 50:1 favorite.

GGG I will root for you. Just a great fight.

Next up, a fight with Wladimir.

BTW, Peej old buddy, you’re going to hate me for this, but, you keep saying “where” when you should be saying “were.”

“Where is a location–known or unknown. “Were” is the past tense form of “to be.”

“Where were you?”

You’re welcome.

“Hidalgo, Stevens was part of the “Chin Checkers”

Thanks, F.A.

Love this fight!!! 1st time GGG gets tested.

Curtis will think someone closed the door very hard on his face.

The thing that worries me is that GGG is on fire right now, that might not last forever,he’s at his peak this is when he should be fighting the other top guys, he might start fading by the time someone of real magnitude wants to fight him.

I think the 2 titles that he did win where vacant and where not against good comp. Either way he is the best at 160 and will run it till he decides to leave in my opinion.

Big joe turner

Woop woop, it’s clear your knowledge of boxing is limited. Not so long ago Stevens was fighting at 168. Welterweight?? Gie yersel peace. I see you commented on a previous threw that ggg was handed his WBO belt. Wrong again! You’re just a mindless hater.

Stevens has no business fighting GGG. He has done nothing to deserve a title shot, but he’s going to regret taking this fight and his ego is going to be deflated fast.

Stevens has come down from Super Middleweight to Middleweight. He was not a Welter.
Still not at GGGs level and will be KO’d within 8rds.

Hidalgo, Stevens was part of the “Chin Checkers” clique that had massive hype in NYC years ago, when they were racking up KOs and undefeated. He eventually went into a rough patch and lost a few bouts. Since he’s come back has been back to his aggressive self. Think he burned out a few years ago but is refreshed now. GGG should win but Stevens will be game whether he’s out-gunned or not. Plus when he lands flush he’s got sick power.

Their PR dude claimed at Twitter that GGG-Stevens presale tickets had already broken the record for bouts at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden. Fans know a good action fight when they see it. Also good to see the NYC fans supporting Stevens.

Welterweight? Really? The guy fought at light heavy as an armature and super middle as a pro. He was 175 against Dirrell on the fight night.

Don’t know anything about Curtis Stevens. I want to see Golovkin fight some name opponents who are currently relevant.

*DONT see

Woop No sir I’m not surprised but he can only fight who’s put in front of him, I see too many fighters clambering to take him on.

Woop Woop

Is anyone surprised GGG is fighting another blown up Welterweight. This guy is a midget.

He looks like a small loaf of bread. A small loaf of bread that King Daddy G is going to slice up.
