It’s Me, Ernie

Tard, it’s one of your other many haters.

Have you remembered any names of the champs you trained yet?

Canelo is no LHW… He’s already down to 165 and loses 8 or 9 pounds in a hard workout.. He has to make 152 and still be very strong, with no drop in cardio conditioning once he steps into the ring, probably around 162..

He’s not fighting big, tall Austin Trout, who weighed in the 170’s.

Most light heavyweights couldn’t make 168 without killing themselves.. Dawson couldn’t.. Those guys walk around at 190 or heavier.

Idiot Ernie using my handle again.

I am hoping Canelo will start manscaping too, red pubes in my teeth stick out like a sore thumb.

CORRECTAMUNDO

YES he IS. He’s just facing a SISSYFIED one who boils down and then balloons back UP to his TRUE weight on Fight night. Canelo was a LHW on Fight night vs Trout. The FACT that he still weighs IN 3 divisions LOWER shows that either his team isn’t TOO smart or they’re not TOO confident in his SKILL level…SO they try to maximize the weight advantage. The BEST Fighters throughout history don’t boil down and balloon back UP SO Canelo needs to flush his teams advice down the TOILET like I DID when you suggested that I put Mares over Kovalev….. Sometimes you have to let your OWN common sense prevail over other peoples OPINIONS……SURE Floyd offers the Biggest payday but what price is your body paying for that??? How many years are taken off your career on the back end because of the stress you’re putting your body through now???

Good points….

I had the very same conversation with Cornelius Boza-Edwards, who never walked around more than a few pounds above his fighting weight back at Super Feather before eventually stepping up to Lightweight…

He had several wars but is still now a picture of health as he did not abuse his body making weight between fights!

“Floyd’s GREAT but he isn’t stopping LHW’s. He can out POINT them though. ”

Not if he’s not fighting them. Which he isn’t.

Floyd’s GREAT but he isn’t stopping LHW’s. He can out POINT them though. Floyd will WIN the Pot shotting CLINIC.

Canelo will be facing the best Floyd in years…in my book, he’s doomed. I take the money man by stoppage in the championship rounds. But what do I know? It’s just my take…

TARK, Canelo is a REAL THREAT to Floyd’s dominance for sure, & I just said it…my main point is that I haven’t seen May this dedicated to a mission…he’s coming for Canelo & he’s coming with all guns blazing. The money kid is coming for the cinnamon kid. My guess is Floyd’ll make a monumental statement for the history book…

No, Corrales wwas on his way to a 14 month stay in prison for domestic abuse just before this fight. He was an emotional wreck and Floyd took full advantage of the situation by inviting this beaten wife to be by him ringside.

Not Castillo was another story, who came in and beat Floyd but got robbed

Largo.., “Canelo will be the biggest threat to Floyd since Corrales”

Corrales wasn’t a threat to Floyd because he couldn’t box.. He was a brawler, and that’s a very good style for Floyd to pick apart, like Guerrero — but Guerrero has a much stronger chin than Corrales, and is more cunning.

The biggest threats to Floyd so far were Judah, De La Hoya, Mosley, and Cotto.. Marquez was the best boxer Floyd faced, but he didn’t matchup at all size wise at that time.. I don’t know how many times Floyd decked Corrales, but he couldn’t put Judah, DLH, Shane, or Cotto down. I thought Cotto would press Floyd harder and fight a lot harder. I was very disappointed but he was still his toughest opponent.

Canelo, I believe, is going to fight his ass off.. He has a fair chance.

@22min, a very beefed-up Elerbe basically says “this is the fight that the fans picked, and the most exciting fight in the history of the sport. ”

No the fans picked fighters much more proven

I haven’t seen Floyd this dedicated since Corrales…Floyd might get KO’d by this youngster-Canelo ain’t no joke-but Floyd is definitely in a mission here…my personal take in all of this is Floyd is ready to make a huge statement…

Canelo is showing he’s not affected at all by the bright lights of this huge fight; in fact, he looks like fish in water & he’s not impressed by Floyd’s bigger than life persona…now, that doesn’t mean he’ll win but he’ll be the biggest threat to Floyd since Corrales; I think Floyd feels the same way & that’s why he’s coming for Canelo in the same fashion he did for Corrales. Canelo is in Floyd’s crosshair & the money man is coming for him…I do feel that Floyd’s experience, stamina & body punching will conquer the youngster by stoppage in the championship rounds…but that’s just my opinion.

The more I see of Canelo, the more I wonder how he will win so much as a round against Floyd. Short of the judges gifting Canelo a round, I just don’t see it happening. So, am I right or am I wrong. Soon we shall see.

They have to cut Canelo’s bangs a little before the fight… They’re so long the hair is getting right in his eyes.

I think its an American thing to keep the boxers ego high lol, most fighters would prefer to say im super such and such as opposed to im light such and such.

TJ

The WBC call their in-between divisions Super, such as SuperWelter or Super Feather etc and the WBA call their divisions Jnr Middle or Jnr Light etc… whilst Britain and Europe decided on Light Middle and Light Welter etc…

Just like we call weights 11stone and 9stone 4lbs, America uses 154lbs and 130lbs and the rest of Europe uses KG, such as 63KG and 57KG for the 10 and 9 stone divisions etc…

It’s horses for courses and I hope this explains the differences!!!!

Back in the days we even had the distinctions of Jnr Heavyweight and Cruiserweight and they even had differing weight restrictions when it was first introduced in the early 80’s!!!!!!

Mick the Marmalizer

Traditionally 154Lb is known as light-middleweight & not super-welterweight or junior-middleweight, so please get it right America!
