“Hidalgo , if they cleared me out of the store so a supposedly broke convicted rapist could shop for jewels, I’d sued their sorry butts till the sun didn’t shine.”

Mike never raped anyone. He got railroaded on that rape conviction. Yeah, he could be mean and wild when he was younger but he’s no rapist. Regardless,That was then, this is now. Tyson is a huge celebrity and most people that work with him nowadays say he’s great to work with and he’s a great guy. His one-man show has been a big hit. He has redeemed himself.

BTW, just so you know, even with all the crowds, Mike remained courteous, smiling and saying hello.

Shout to Hildago

WTF is Tyson? God? This kind of fan boy hero worship makes me puke. Save it for the disabled soldiers who are real hero’s.

Swedish Boxing Fan

Of course people wan’t to greet the legend “Iron” Mike Tyson! A former 2-time world heavyweight champion and iconic boxing character for almost his entire career, hard to walk away from. (50-6-0-2 KO’s 46) is a record to be proud of when looking back at an 20 year long careeer and to have fought against the great likes of Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Michael Spinks, Frank Bruno, Tony Tucker, James Buster Douglas, Tony Tubbs, Pinklon Thomas, James “Bonecrusher” Smith, Trevor Berbick, Bruce Seldon, Francois Botha, Orlin Norris, Tyrell Biggs, Donovan Ruddock, Alex Stewart, Carl Williams, Andrew Golota, Clifford Etienne, Danny Williams and more. Still, Tyson was not meant to be the very best of his era. Lennox Lewis & Evander Holyfield took the top. Altough Tyosn earned more money then them :-) – And spended more as well.

Got to feel bad for the trainer, not because of what happened but because Yuri Foreman was the best guy on his stable…

In Las Vegas. Mike regularly shops there.

I said hello to Mike Tyson at Caesar’s Palace Hotel/Casino last Saturday night. My wife and daughter were shopping at one of the stores in the resort. Mike had a three-guard escort who was accompanying him to the Gucci’s store that was just down the walk from where we were shopping. Gucci’s cleared all the customer’s out of the store so Mike could shop undisturbed. A big crowd started to gather outside Gucci’s waiting for a chance to see Mike. A lot of people had their camera’s pressed up against the store windows hoping to get a photo of him. Reminded me of people crowding around the lion enclosure at a zoo.
