Leaning towards Burns but I am expecting a hotly contested fight. Close win for the Scotsman.

Burns by wide UD. I have watched demarco on a few occasions and i realy cant see the hype. Hes been carefuly manouvered throught his career, and i can see Burns beating him in a simalar fight to Burns vs Martinez. Cant see Mitchell beating Demarco or Burns though.

This fight should have happened years ago when Mitchell was British champion & Burns held the Commonwealth title.

Agreed. Warren is letting a lot of our top talent rot at the minute, with no meaningful fights for Groves, DeGale, Cleverly, etc.

No doubt this is a great great fight. My money is on Mitchel, but Ive come unstuck in under estimating Burns in the past. I bet on Katsidis to KO him and lost big time.

Frank Warren needs to sort his act out after this one & get off the WBO gravy train. The winner of this one & the boxing public deserve to see unifications. However what’s the betting if Gavin Rees does pick up the WBA 135Lb title then that’s the one he’ll go for instead of the more creible WBC chamipon Antonio Demarco. While on the unification subject it has to be noted that FW has plenty of time to negotiate a Beibut Shumenov/Nathan Cleverley contest in the USA for early 2013.
