Kid you have the beat. The last fight I went to, Sam tried to pick up on my girl while I was away grabbing a beer. I didn’t know about it until after the fact. He’s a slime ball.

“Yes, along with that screaming hysterical moron Mauro Ranello ‘ LMAO, Kid Blast. I’m a big boxing fan. Every time someone comes over to my house to watch a fight with me, the first thing they say when they see Ranello for the first time is “HE’s the guy with that voice?” LMAO! They expect to see some big hulking guy, not a dorky looking cue ball on feet. But hey, I felt the same way at first, but Ranello has shown through his commentating that he keeps up with boxing and the boxers. His voice just doesn’t jive with his appearance.

Hildago..I’m totally with you. I was totally picking Broner to wipe the floor with paulie. Didn’t happen. What transpired was quite ridiculous. Broner unable to cut off the ring at all. Piss poor footwork all night long. There were at least 4 times Broner tried to shoulder roll and went the wrong way?? Seriously Broner should be embarrassed and so should his fans. I’ll admit I was all aboard the hype train, but this is where I get off. Go back down in weight and good luck with Mathyesse who was the choice of fans according to ring. If u wanna be the next star in boxing boy you got miles to go. Pac would destroy you, mayweather embarrass you, marquez might actually teach u something.

Hildago, yes I can see why some think he won. I just don’t think so, even his buddies on showtime thought he lost. I agreed with thier score cards as well. But since Paulie was throwing more punches some fans think he did better even if he was barely landing anything, and was also getting his head knocked back for his efforts.

Posted June 26, 2013 8:14 pm

“I know a lot of fans feel Paulie won” That’s right. You also said “He won three rounds solidly and the rest were all either close enough for him to lose.” That means they were also close enough for him to win, right?

Good posts Sick of Paulie. We need to forget about Malignaggi for good. He took a beating and his love pats didn’t do a thing. Showtime, please get rid of this big mouth. Your ratings will soar.

Hidalgo I didn’t watch the fight in slow motion. I don’t have that type of time to waste. But Paulie did land some shots, but very few were meaningful. His landing percentage was very poor, and when he did land it was nothing. If he had a little power he could have won, but he doesn’t which is why he loses virtually every time he face a decent fighter. I know a lot of fans feel Paulie won, but I’m not one of them. He won three rounds solidly and the rest were all either close enough for him to lose. Anything from 116-112 or 115-113 for Broner was more than fair

he talks like he punches. Fast and says nothing.

Hidalgo you can also STFU along with the nasal accented Brooklyn wimp who not only lost his belt but also lost his hottie to Broner.

Ugh, that has to take the swagger out of that creep, eh?

Tomato Can has the beat

One time

Paulie landed a high volume of body shats under the elbows and to the body if they had no effect im sure Broner would have thrown more punches. Twice he has has gotten lit up to the body Once by Deleon and Twice now by Paulie and has the same reaction stops throwing punches. The Body shots COUNT! and do a lot of Damage.

“Paulie landed on gloves and elbows all night,” That’s not true at all, Tomato Can. You better watch as many replays of the fight as you can. In slow motion.

Tomato Can

Paulie landed on gloves and elbows all night, and caught the only meaningful punches of the fight, in return. Yes, Paulie was the busier fighter, unfortunately his lack of power and inability to land anything, kept him from winning, IMO.

If this were an amateur bout, I’m sure Paulie would have won. But it is not. Its “clean, effective punching” . The vast majority of Paulies punches were neither clean, nor effective. A jab does NOT count the same as a solid right cross.

“Man up Brooklyn” He did. WTF were you watching, Sick of Paulie? Rocky and Bullwinkle?

Paulie won this fight hands down completely outworked Broner

Sick of Paulie

I’m sick of Paulie. Fed up. Time for him to STFU. If this fight had been in Cincinnati, the yelping and crying would have been non-existent. Man up Brooklyn.

Great show Joe! The Paulie segment was terrific. I’ve watched the fight (robbery) three times and cannot see how Broner did nearly enough to earn the win. Apparently, even if Broner gets hit eight times and is forced to change ring location – as long as he shakes his head no and talks some jibber, rolls his shoulder and pokes in a single counter jab he looks good enough to win the engagement. Boxing needs internet voting. Selecting 99 judges and letting them vote it out would be a logical progression – this three judge thing causes a condition that makes boxing fans frustrated and prospective new fans tune out.
