Why doesn’t he fight Mallenaghi again.

Totally agree. Guzman is no joke, underated, and the under dog. Guaranteed, he will win over Khan.

Guzman, will knock his accent out…..

The Kingslayer

Freddie Roach is being used as a scapegoat for Khan’s weak chin.

A new trainer might do Khan some good. I always thought Khan was overrated but a new trainer might teach him some defense for a changeā€¦.

We’re holding our breath…

Khan does not need a new trainer he needs humility. Guzman will cook his goose.

I know everyone will laugh but wolf would be good for him because she will tell him how it is! Khan needs a real trainer not a promtor like Roach

Darren Hamilton? Your having a laugh.

That’s right. Khan needs to be lined up with a very carefully selected opponent this time, one who really shouldn’t cause him to much trouble (even if he’s only half as good as he thinks he is); let’s say a Prescott, a Peterson or a Garcia. Oh, wait a minute, there still might be trouble down that route… Well he at least needs to sort himself out with a trainer he can work with (after all the negativity, he can hardly carry on with Roach now can he?); surely breakfast TV’s Mr Motivator would be an ideal choice.

KO Artist

why are people overlooking Joan Guzman? Dangerous world class fighter. Unbeaten. Very slick. He actually has more skills and power than Khan. Putting aside Guzman’s weight failurs recently that have left him in teh shadows a little, he was one of the best slickster fighters in the world. Personally, i’d be very nervous putting Kahn in with Guzman.

I really don’t see the point in Khan fighting in december. If he’s gonna change his trainer surely he needs to spend a significant amount of time with whoever it is before he makes a comeback. If not he’s likely to come back making the same old mistakes. Also considering what happened in the Garcia fight I think he needs to be brought back very carefully to build his confidence up.

A tougher test for Khan would be EBU champion Denis Shafikov. British champion Darren Hamilton could also cause him a few problems.
